Sky stopped as well, not wanting to leave Brett behind. She looked at him for a moment, and then suddenly turned away. "Because you were in way over your head, and were hopeless without my help. Being a woman, I have the expertise that you required--" She stopped there, realizing that she was probably saying too much. As long as Brett was left in the dark a little bit about what exactly he had bought, then she could probably preserve some more of her dignity. She shook it off and continued walking. "Anyway, I helped because I could." She glanced backward to make sure Brett was following her, and was underneath the umbrella. She really couldn't leave him behind in the rain, after all. Sky hoped that no more would be said on that subject. She was rather happy with the moment's peace the silence had given her. |

"Hmm..." Brett remained quiet, never the type to consider starting up a casual conversation due to all his social problems and such. Heck, 2 months ago he'd never dreamed to have been standing so close to a girl. So, in the few months he joined the academy, he had acquired a bit of social skills. Still, the pair continued walking in silence, until they were just outside the hotel. "Uhh... th-thanks?" He waved lightly, still rather nervous about the whole thing. He wondered if she'd offer any more advice or if he should just leave. |

Sky closed her umbrella once they were safely out of the rain. She looked at Brett, and smiled a little bit. Helping him out today had been rather pleasant... probably. He was quite an interesting person, if a little dull in some areas. Although he probably knew a lot about other things from all of the books he read. Yes, her afternoon had been a little irritating, but somehow she had enjoyed herself. "You're welcome." Her expression suddenly became serious. She narrowed her eyes at him, and spoke with a quiet certainty. "But if you ever mention this to anyone, or remember anything about this afternoon at all, I will kill you. Okay?" She held both bags in her hands, as well as the umbrella. She was not going to relinquish them until she was convinced her message had gotten across to the fellow Osiris. |

Overall, the woman had seen warm and inviting. But just before he could go to his room and tell his roommate how he had bought a bunch of female underwear with Sky, the white haired Osiris had showed off her fangs. Brett's eyes widened in fear, but at this point he found his fear unable to allow him to speak. All he did was nod weakly at Sky's request, shivering. Half in fear, and half from the cold of the rain. (which will, by the way, eventually heat up and become humid as the afternoon drags on.) |

Sky observed his weak nod. She smiled weakly, confident that she had gotten through to him. He would likely forget everything that he saw-- or at least not think about it ever again. In any case, she had done what she could to protect her dignity. Her current objective accomplished, Sky began analyzing the current situation. She looked away from Brett while she made her calculations. "Hm... now, in order to give your story the most believability, you can't be seen walking in with these." She scanned the lobby. It was empty, save for one or two people whom Sky did not recognize or regard as a threat. They were busy doing their own things, and did not appear to be affiliated with the Academy in any way. Although, with the lack of uniforms on this trip, Sky could not be entirely sure. Regardless, it was better to be safe than sorry. Especially after all the work Sky had put into this endeavor already. "I'll drop these off by your room sometime when there's no one around. It will minimize the risk of detection. Then, you can say whatever you want about where they came from." Sky looked at Brett again. "And by that, I mean whatever false story you want." Sky looked toward the lobby again. Yes, she would need some time to prepare the material components for their secret mission. They would need to be adequately de-tagged, and they would need to look slightly worn. Nagasaki probably would not be able to determine that the bra and panties had been a new purchase, but she was not going to give him even the slightest chance at exposing their deception. Yes, they needed to have flawless work. Sky looked at Brett once more. "What room are you in?" |

[How is Sky going to... oh... 0_o] Brett wondered why she had been so adamant for him to forget what just occurred. But, she did seem ready to continue helping him, even going so far as to point out things he had overlooked, such as that he shouldn't be caught holding such a thing, possibly by Rounin. He blushed lightly. Sky then spoke up, asking for information from him. "R-R-Room 202..." Brett blinked. After a bit of thinking, he had a bit of a wicked thought. Perhaps this had all been a clever ruse by Sky to get Brett to buy her a new arm band and new shorty shorts. "C-Can I add y-you as a fr-friend?" He pulled out his PDA, sending a request. In this case, if she was planning some unsavory work, Brett would still be able to track her down. But he tried not to make it look as though it was his suspicions talking. It may have seemed like just, in general, a request by someone who longed to be her friend. |

((It's not that <_< And I thought Sky paid for it all)) Sky hesitated, and then nodded slowly. It would be necessary to establish easy communication between them, in order to ensure success in their operation. She pulled out her PDA and accepted the request. Then Sky nodded once more to him, and began to walk across the lobby. "I'll keep in touch, and let you know when I'm ready." She continued walking until she reached the elevator. She still had some work to do. [To: Hotel] |

[OOC: Did she? 0_o Well, I don't recall mentioning Brett paid for his... In any case, if you REALLY want for Sky to pay for both, Brett has no problem with that. =3] Brett nodded weakly, still feeling a bit lightheaded over the whole thing. As for right now, he just wanted to lie down and relax for a bit before making a few sketches. Following Sky's lead, Brett entered the hotel, taking the next available elevator to the second floor.
