Fortunately, the main office wasn't too dreadfully far from the Ra Yellow dormitory. In fact, it seemed the rain was dying down a little. The keyword being "a little". It was still pouring heavily, and unfortunately the umbrella she was carrying was left behind in Rina's room. Her hip looking beret did little to shield her from the rain however. Eventually, the girl arrived at the main office, despite the setback of the weather. She shook her hair, attempting to dry it off. Her clothes had once again become damp. But, whatever. It would all soon be over, or so the girl thought. The 3 eccentric secretaries were still hard at work, organizing files, typing away and other such things. It seemed odd that they were still wearing exactly what they wore the first two times she had come in. "Uhh... h-hello?" Afer curtsying towards the inattentive woman, she looked around the room, not spotting any umbrellas or any rain jackets. How long had these women been working here? The women continued, left to their own devices, ignoring the girl. Billie walked over to the one copying papers on the copy machine. Her green hair and green eyes were identical to the green business skirt and jacket she wore. "Uhh... can you help me?" The woman did not respond, continuing to scan paper after paper. As she finished with 3 copies of one, she lifted the cover, turning over the paper inside, now printing out more copies. "Uhh... well I seem to have misplaced the key to my dorm room and-" "I can not help you." An emotionless mechanical voice reverberated around the air. The words struck Billie like a cold slap to the face. The woman in green then continued. "Ask her." Continuing her stream of papers being copied, her hand shot up to point to the woman in blue. She was busy typing away at a feverous pace. "Th-thank you." Billie curtsied to the woman, before walking over to the blue woman. "Hello, my name is Billie Hatcher, and-" "Name not on file." she interrupted quickly. "Present your identification card." "Uhh..." Billie nervously handed over her card. More typing was heard. "Wilhelmina April-May-June-Rachel Hatcher." more typing as she continued working. A paper was soon ejected from a printer to Billie's left. "Take the paper. Bring it to her." Not taking her eyes off her work, she pointed to the woman in red. Taking the item, Billie handed it over to the woman on the telephone, dressed all in red, firey red hair, and an all red uniform, identical to the one of all the others, except a different color. It was at this point, after meeting all 3 of the workers here, that Billie noticed their faces were identical. I mean, were they identical? Maybe the white haired girl was just tired. No time to think about such things. "Uhh, yes. I needed to-" The red haired woman quickly snatched the paper out of Ms. Hatcher's hand. "Code 4. Subject 13872." she said into her phone, a voice inaudible to Billie's ear responded back to the woman. The woman in red then opened the top left drawer on her desk. She quickly handed a key to the white haired girl. "Th-thank you?" Billie curtsied as she took the key. She quickly placed it into her pocket. She tried to smile at the other woman, despite their obvious lack of attention. It was at this point she noted something odd, perhaps even startling. The woman in green took all the copies she had just made and forced them through a paper shredder. The woman in red's phone was not plugged into anything. The one in blue continued typing, when Billie noticed that none of the devices were connected to anything. Wireless, perhaps? After all, the computer did just finish printing a paper. Trying not to over think the eccentricities of the woman, the white haired girl quickly left, walking towards the Ra Yellow dorm. Unbeknown to her however, this was not the key that would open the door of room 204. Her status had been upgraded, and she had not known it yet. The key opened a door in the Obelisk dormitory, not the Ra Yellow one. [To: Behind the Doorknob] Edited by Billie Hatcher, Jun 20 2008, 10:13 PM.
