IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ IN ITS ENTIRETY: http://s1.zetaboards.com/Crimson_Wind_Academy/topic/1950168/

Beginning July 13th, 2009
Month 3 - Day 10's (Sunday's) Afternoon Scenario:

It has been 2 months since the Pro Duelists completed their visit to Crimson Wind Academy. During that time, students have come and gone; friendships have blossomed while others just began; rivalries heated up, and most noteworthy, new duel disks were issued to the students during Month 2.

These new duel disks are to replace the standard Academy model. The new features on these disks are thanks to the new "Cyclone" system, aptly named after the rotating device.

Crimson Wind "Cyclone" Academy Duel Disk

(Name & image taken from "Yu-Gi-Oh Online" ; recolor by Billie via Photoshop CS2.)

A Duel Disk which was developed as the successor to the “Academy Model”. Has a sensor that lights up and rotates during Duel Mode which is where its name comes from. Standby mode is not quite as compact as the standard model's, but the Cyclone comes with many new features. Customized duel disks can be upgraded with the new Cyclone System.

Created Functions So Far

- Using the Cyclone System, you can watch duels (one duel) from anywhere within a 5-mile radius by receiving signals from other active Cyclone-enhanced disks
----- Similar to WC08's View Duel mode (or YVD, or 5D's tv series), you see LP, the field, and everything on it, in card form.

- Saves opponent's deck data (cards ever on field and in graveyard) after dueling

- Can save own deck data (multiple decks)
----- You can purchase "Duel Monsters (DM) Data Cards" which have the function of copying your own saved deck data and inputing the card information into these technological, transparent cards (in terms of general appearance, think "Locator Cards," Duel Monster Card-sized), once inserted into the duel disk. (does not copy Extra Deck cards)
-----Can't take multiple decks with you? Want to use a deck that you've taken apart (but saved) a while ago? Tired of writing up the same deck list for tournaments? The Deck Data option, as a whole, saves time, space, and energy. Is a student fiddling with a deck during class? These Data Cards are the near-perfect solution, as card images are only seen on these transparent cards when a duel is in progress; feel free to confiscate actual decks, now, if they're brought to class. >= )

Weather Report from: "The Ethics and Standards News Hour 1" (Transit Towers Broadcasting)

"And now we'll go to Silvershine's local weather girl, Miss Sonia Cruz. Sonia?"

Cut to a woman in front of a green screen. The screen would be prepared for the viewers at home.

"Sad news guys." a deep, honestly disappointed sound to her voice, which came after years of acting training. "As much as I'd like to give you guys good news, tomorrow looks like rain."

The green screen flashed into a map, from the home viewers point of view. Fancy graphics showed up on the screen to illustrate Sonia's point. "We have a cold front coming in from the north, and a warm front from the south, and when both hit we're in for quite the thunderstorm at around say... afternoon time until late evening tomorrow. However, as with all weather advisories, this is in no way a guarantee."

The "five day forecast" flashed on the screen for a second. Highs for the next day seemed to indicate temperatures as low as 42, but as high as 67. "It's when the rain hits that it's gonna feel a bit hot and humid." Sonia declared.

"A bad start for the work week I know." she feigned cute innocence rather well.

((If I've forgotten anything, let me know, A.S.A.P. -- Staff, feel free to add to the above -- [is moderately affected by: laziness <___< ]))

Umm... so the weather! Here's what tomorrow (Day 10) looks like... there's going to be lots of clouds, and it'll probably rain. So... don't forget your umbrella when you go outside! Highs for the day might not be as high as today... but they'll be close. I think it'll be around the upper 60s or low 70s. Lows will range from low to mid 40s. Winds won't be very bad, either. Drive safely everyone-- be extra careful when it's raining. And that's your weather report!

I agree. If we're going to only have one setting, extend the time of the setting.
