After all the rides and games he played, it was time to take a breather. He headed over to an ice cream stall and retrieved a bowl of Cookies and Creme ice cream before heading to a bench to rest a bit. He set the large Test Tiger plushie from the duel puzzles table onto the seat next to him and removed his duel disk, placing it on the table. Sometimes he would just wear it like it was weight training for his weaker arm. Why, he had no idea, but it had helped in some degree. "Hmm..." he hummed, placing a spoonful of ice cream in his mouth as he thought. "Maybe I should try the laser tag game..." he said after swallowing. As he sat there, he remembered what naruko said. "Man, she needs to know what a true victory feels like. You don't get my trying to get draws every time..." he muttered. "Still, most likely she is going to act faster against me or try to prevent Shien coming out..." His mind went through the moves again. His first turn was when he got him out, and it was the last turn where Shien's effect came into play for the win. "Well, we still have lots of time here before we have to leave, and she may want to have the rematch before we leave. It gives me time to relax..." He wasn't too worried. "I bet you've been enjoying yourself, Douken." Miss Kim's voice came from behind the seated student. Circling the table, she took a seat across from him. She wore a large hat to keep the sun away from her face - most likely the change from her normal, professional clothing had kept Douken from recognizing her before. "It's nice to have a vacation every once in a while, to take a break from constant studying." |

Coming up from behind made him jump until he turned around as his transition lenses eyes the teacher. "Oh, hello Miss Kim," he said, trying to be polite as she sat down. "Now who ever said I studied?" he laughed. He was more of a person who memorized the material fast and regurgitated it when it was needed. So even if he didn't study, he usually did well on tests. "But I am sure there are some people who need to know when it is time to put the books down and relax... one person at CWA ringing a bell... what was the name?" He tried to remember who it was. It was an Osiris girl... "Oh yeah, Akane. Now sorry if you don't like me talking about her like this, but she needs to get away from the books. We are on a vacation here." He took another bite of his ice cream before continuing, "So, how have you been enjoying yourself? Seen any of the shows or rides yet?" |

"I've been spending my time mainly in the dueling arena. I've been staying away from roller coasters. I don't think students would want to hear me screaming on one." Douken laughed at the Professor's comment about her screaming before pausing and hearing her last comment. "Wait, what about an advancement?" This came to him as a surprise. He did not expect to go from Sebek green to Osiris Red while he was here. "When did I move up to Osiris Red?" |
