The nurse turned away from the Sebek for just one second. "Oh, thank goodness you're awake. You seem to have had a stress induced panic attack, and this boy brought you in." She turned to the side, so the girl could get a look at her attacker and hero. He seemed to be poking at the bandage the nurse had applied. "Stop picking at it!" she said, bemused, brushing his hands away. "You're friends awake now." "Firefly?" Lawrence felt guilty for hugging her. He never knew she had a medical condition, nor did he really know what having a medical condition meant. All he knew was that he was glad to see her alive. Interrupting his joy, the nurse began to speak. "By the way, we don't seem to have your immunization records on file, so whenever your doctor could fax that over to us that'd be great." she smiled politely. Attention back at Rina she spoke, "We don't seem to have any prescriptions available for your medical condition, however it doesn't appear to be life threatening, merely an inconvenience at best. "I should...?" Rina questioned her. (OOC: Just kidding.) ------Rewrite--------- IC: Hearing the mention of "this boy" bringing her in, Rina turned over to her right to see Lawrence laying in the next bed over. The notion of being carried anywhere made the redhead blush a little bit upon hearing and imagining it. "...!" She took note of the clean bandages across his body. They were easy to see. She stared at them for a moment before the nurse spoke to her again. The focus of Rina's eyes changed to the active nurse in the room, paying mild attention to her words. Her head throbbed a tad. Ms. Kasakura's only response to the lady in white was a weak, acknowledging "Mm," as she looked at Lawrence's injuries again. She was curious as to how he got them, ...and when. She, herself, didn't feel as though she was hurt badly anywhere. Did it happen on the way to the nurse, or after? ...How long had she been asleep? |

The nurse sighed. "Well, you two should be fine for now, just take it easy for a couple of days, and if anything happens, don't hesitate to come back." Lawrence looked at his bandaged up stomach. Noticing Rina's stare, he immediately covered up. A knight exposing himself to a fair maiden!? What would the people of his town think!? He pulled his tunic over his head as swiftly as he could, covering up. "Thank you medic." He squinted as he stood up, but the nurse pretended not to take notice of this. He gathered his belongings and prepared to leave. He turned to the Firefly, and since he brought her there, and was the primary cause she fainted, it was probably only right he at least walk her to her dorm. |

Rina blinked at the boy who was looking her way, about to leave. She didn't know what his glance meant, but she wanted to know about his injury, in case she was the cause of it. She hesitated at first. Knowing that she'd have a hard time finding him later, she slowly crawled out of bed, sitting over the side for a moment before standing. Rina was a little disoriented, but, for the most part, alright. She turned to the nurse and bowed with consideration for her throbing head. "Thank you for taking care of me." She then approached the Sebek youth. A weary smile was smeared across her face. Rina was somewhat embarrassed over the recent events. "And... thanks for looking out for me. ...Sorry if I caused you any trouble...." Not too long after uttering those words (about 12 seconds later), the school's intercom system activated. Hearing the minute[my-newt] clicks and buffs, Rina turned her visual attention to the public announcement* system in the nurse's office.
".... ...That's awful...." Rina froze, hearing such horrible news. The good news couldn't possibly make up for it. Edited by Rina Kasakura, Apr 7 2008, 11:18 PM.

Opening the door, Lawrence saw his cards spread across the floor. He sighed, picking them up slowly, counting with each card he brought to his right hand. 37, 38, 39, 40. That's all of them. The Firefly gave him a tired looking smile. She then spoke. .. Sorry!? He had unknowingly harmed her, and she was appologizing to him!? Her words made him feel awkward, he was at a loss for words. Fortunately, the intercom cut the awkard silence short, unfortunately, it seemed to make the situation worse. As the announcement ended he was even more lost at what next to say. It was times like this in great adversity that a knight had to remain the most strong, the most loyal and the most brave. When the entire world failed, a knight would stand strong. He looked at the Firefly, she seemed as shock to hear about the news of death as he was. "Firefly, do you need an attendant to take you to your dorm?" he offered his hand for her, waiting to hear her reply. Edited by Billie Hatcher, Apr 8 2008, 09:35 PM.

Rina glanced his way, taking note of his extended hand. She paused, thinking about it for a moment. Did she really need help getting to her room? .... Probably... but she didn't want to inconvenience Lawrence any further. She smiled and waved her hand at the boy. "N-no, I'll be alright. Really. You don't need to worry about me," so says the unstable girl. "I can handle that much. .... But...." Her eyes, again, drifted to Lawrence's mid-section. "About those bandages...." He was clothed, now, but her glance was more of a visual aid for the knight. "What happened...? ...Did you hurt yourself, bringing me here?" |

Lawrence thought back to the injury he sustained. He touched his abdomen. "The white haired serpent girl..." he spoke, as though he were thinking of what to say to the Firefly. "Keep your eye on her." The Firefly was a Ra, and the Serpent Girl was a Ra, she probably wouldn't believe him. Lawrence could hardly believe it himself. The girl seemed like a white haired angel, but she was as vile as a venomous snake. "If you surmise you shall be alright, I will bid thee farewell." he grabbed her hand, bowing down, kissing it once again. He turned his back to her, wondering which way to go. Maybe the courtyard? [To: Duel Challenge! Five to Advance!] |

"A--..." Rina paused her speech as Lawrence turned to leave. Something confused her, and rightfully so: "What does 'surmise' mean, again?" she thought. "...But more importantly...." She watched Lawrence depart. "By 'White-Haired Serpent Girl,' he didn't mean.... .... .... ..." Normally, Rina would have dismissed the notion as 'unbelievable.' ...But after witnessing Billie's strange behavior, as of late, Rina wasn't about to throw away valuable advice. A hand to her chin, Rina recollected the time when Billie managed to lift a male with ease, to the point where it was shocking. Her mannerisms and speech patterns were also different from usual. Rina thought something was off, but by the end of the Hatcher-Kanzaki duel, she thought that Billie returned to her old self. ...Did she really...? Is Billie acting strange in front of everyone? What was going on? Rina had no answer, but 'keeping an eye on someone' was something she was good at, already. .... ...But for now, heading back to her room would be a good idea. At least, until it was close to class time. ...!! But first...! Rina returned to the nurse's office. "Excuse me," she began, getting the nurse's attention. "Sorry, but, you have my backpack and duel disk, here, right?"
