Damsel in Distress / Knight in Shining Armor

Exploring the campus, the snow haired duelist continued scouting the student body. They all had duel disks, with decks ready to duel with. It was doubtful any of them had the card that she and Darkness Dragon were looking for. Her PDA began to buzz.
"Excellent." she smiled. Making her way to the main building, she soon arrived at the Nurse's Office. The nurse, sitting at her desk and filling out some papers looked up as her door was opened. Her computer was opened to a screen saver of a a ball bouncing across the screen. She smiled as the cruel Dragon Lord entered. "Hello, you must be Ms. Hatcher." "... Yes. I am." The nurse turned her back, looking through a filing cabinet. She spoke with her back still turned. "It's so hard to find good work. The last few assistant nurses quit before anything even happened. It's such a shame to train someone for weeks only to have them quit." "I've never been the type to... give up." "That's great. The medical community could use more enthusiastic young people like you." Van'Dalygon smiled, knowing that the last thing anyone in this Academy wanted was another evil duel spirit. Damsel in Distress / Knight in Shining Armor

(OOC: Oh man, it's gonna be so annoying to RP as two different characters in the same room.) After several moments of wandering around, and asking for a bit of directions, Lawrence had arrived at the Nurse's office, the Firefly dangling off his arms. "Medic!" he called out. "The girl seems to be suffering from some illness" Lawrence breathed heavily, out of breath from running to the Nurse's Office. "What!?" the nurse stood up from her desk, looking at the Ra Yellow. "Lay her down gently over there." she pointed to a bed, as she began to examine the girl. Her pulse seemed normal, her breathing was regular. She looked at the girl's PDA, finding her identification on it. "Rina Kasakura." she then walked back over to her desk, typing the name into a computer. Her medical information was on display. Lawrence felt relieved. The medic would be able to help the girl. Lawrence looked around the room, he noticed a girl in a purple dress shirt and a white skirt. Her head was facing down, her long white hair covering and shielding her eyes. |

As the boy in the green tunic brought the girl in, Billie immediately recognized the girl in his arms. The fair skin, the Ra Yellow jacket, and of course the orange side ponytail. "Rina..." she whispered. Her red eyes flashed a brilliance of blue. "No no, not yet." a voice echoed in her head. "Turn your sorrow and fear into rage. Rage will fuel your power. Our power." "What did you do to Rina!?!" she yelled, piercing red eyes staring into the knights brown eyes. The nurse seemed to ignore the two students, focusing all her attention on her patients medical condition. "Previous cranial trauma, occasional odd brain activity, social-anxiety that may lead into fainting spells. It's just a compounding of previous conditions. She'll be fine with just a bit of rest." Looking back at the two students in the room, the nurse decided to share the good news with the students. |

(OOC: Oh man. I feel almost as pathetic as Takuya. Rina! Say something! >_>) "Oh thank heavens, and thank you kind medic." He bowed, grateful that he had not caused the premature death of the Firefly. "She should probably get some rest, so Billie, I'm gonna have to ask you to come back later." The girl in the room walked over to Lawrence, paying little attention to what the nurse said. Likewise, the nurse did not pay attention to Billie and Lawrence. The white haired girl grabbed Lawrence's wrist, a look of murderous rage in her eye. The nurse went back to tending to her patient, as Lawrence was dragged into the hallway against his will by the girl who seemed to have quite a strong grip on him. "The Firefly"
|
(OOC: <_< "Heh." ^_^) IC: Meanwhile, during my fallout from reality, I was lost in a dream.... In a sunny, bright world where the trees are green, the grass is totally green, and apples are blue, The heroine, Rina Kasakura, encountered four magical sheep by the foot of a pretty steep montain. They were of different colors and in need of assistance. ...Ahe-he-hem...! "Fair lady, fair lady! Bright orange hair! We must reach the ledge, but our reach won't reach there!" The blue one informed her; the pink one was downed; the red fumed for minutes, not uttering a sound. The yellow stared blankly, its eyes on the lass. The girl stared his way. How much time had passed? The sheep were yey-high, halfway to her knee. Rina looked up and then uttered, "Why me...?" "Fair lady, fair lady," the blue called again. "Your help, we do need!" "...Matter of when." The pink one just spoke, but what did she mean? Foresight or arrogance? Better come clean. The monotone was silent; lazed eyes glared. Rina glanced away. The staring she beared. "So you need my help to get over that ledge." Rina then sighed as her words she'd pledge. "Sure, I'll help you.... You knew I would, too." Pink glanced away; a grin: that's new. And with that all said, she helped the four sheep. But what more was there, on this large mountain, steep...? (OOC: This series of posts are "in-betweeners." I continue the little story of her dream between your posts at random. In order words, just keep posting as you have been. I'll post when I feel like inserting something.) Damsel in Distress / Knight in Shining Armor

(OOC: I lurve rhyming. <3) The girl dragged the knight out of the room. He would pay for harming her dear friend Rina. "Give me your deck!" she demanded. The knight crossed his hands over his chest, refusing to hand over his deck. "That wasn't a request boy." she took a step forward. Lawrence reached for the sword dangling off his scabbard. "Hehe... wrong choice." she pinched her finger tips together, materializing a long black sword from whatever random dimension she had brought it from before. It was decorated with an intrinsic red design. Despite it's huge size, she keenly wielded it with one hand. Lawrence pulled out his own one handed arming sword., preparing for a sword fight. Billie rushed forward, sword in hand, preparing to strike. Edited by Billie Hatcher, Apr 5 2008, 11:35 AM.

Without a moment to second guess himself, Lawrence pulled out his sword. The old sage's words echoed in his ears temporarily, before he realized he was under attack. Surely, in self-defense the old sage could not say anything, right? He leaned against the wall, preparing for an attack. He blocked the girl's lunge with his own sword, parrying it forcing her sword to miss him as it veered to the left. Her dark sword imbeding itself into the wall. As she did her best to free it, Lawrence managed to put some distance between him and the girl. Despite the fact that he was under attack, Lawrence was worried for her. All she wore was a fancy dress shirt, while he wore a chainmail under his tunic, and he did not want to hurt the girl. "What villany do you intend to do with my deck serpent girl!?" |

Her red eyes looked at him. "This is personal now." She ran towards Lawrence, unarmed, with her Duel-Disked arm dangling off her body. Lawrence held his blade slanted, intending to defend with it, though a bit confused as to what a frail girl planned to do while charging forward. The sword, still embedded into the wall, began to glow. It surrounded itself in a dark mist, before vanishing. It reappeared in Billie's hand, as she slashed Lawrence on the abdomen. The boy seemed startled enough he dropped his sword. The girl hit him with the handle of hers, before carefully removing his deck. She quickly scanned it over. "It's not here." She dropped the cards carelessly around the knight. "Useless." She turned her back on the boy, before calmly walking away, her sword disappearing into nothingness. [To: Duel Challenge! It was only a flesh wound. Lawrence touched his dampened tunic, as the blood continued flowing. His chainmail had saved him. Unfortunately, liquid and metal tend to cause infections. ... Fortunately, once again, he was only steps away from the Nurse's office. He slowly returned his sword, but figuring that picking up each and everyone of his cards was too daunting a task, he entered the Nurse's office. "Medic..." he muttered, holding his stomach as he entered. The nurse took her attention off Rina for a second to the knight. He thought for a moment, he could probably get into trouble for using his sword on the white haired girl, even though she started it. It seemed this school really had a problem with medieval knights. Go figure. "This device," he raised his duel disk "had implanted itself into my abdomen with quite a force." He raised his disk and made a fist, as the Firefly taught him to. "I believe I am bleeding profusely, and I require medical assistance." The nurse pointed to a second bed, telling him to just relax while she took a look at his wound. She hoped no other students were in need of medical treatment, as she only had two cots for students to rest on. |

(OOC: .... .... ...! I've got a better idea: I'll save it for later. ^_^) IC: Some time later, waking from her seemingly peaceful slumber, Rina's eyes slowly opened. A groggy look appeared on her face. She cringed from the light on the ceiling, above her head. "...? Where...? ...." Turning her head to her right, she noticed a white stool near a table. Rina, still somewhat groggy, blinked at it for a moment before shifting her focus to the rest of the room. ...It began to sink in. "...A... nurse's office?" Rina heard noises to her left. She assumed it was the nurse. The redhead took a moment to recall what could have caused her to be inside such a room. ...It didn't take her too long to remember. "...Did I pass out from that?" She inaudibly sighed. "...This totally sucks~...!" She groaned aloud to herself as she turned the rest of her body to her right, facing the stool and table. |
