If he was to wake up soon, he should be doing so in the past two month. But rather than telling this to Kai, she simply kept that for herself, as she didn't want to offend the person that was responsible for saving her from the bully earlier. "Anyway!" Ayase looked up, putting a cheerful face again. "I always wanted to go to Crimson Wind Academy after Ienzo's entry to the place," she said energetically, trying to make a conversation. She imagined the exciting life at the prestigious institute where she could make friends, and learn about what she loved most, dueling. If only she was a year older, she could take the entrance exam together with her cousin and went there together. "How was Ienzo back there?Was he a klutz like he always been?" That's her cousin, she thought. She's a little glad, actually, hearing that from his cousin ex-best friend. Ayase was quite worried that by chance he will revert back to his dark personality he once had. She didn't even want to remember how he was back then. It was a miracle that she could manage to convince him to turn back. "......" She stole a glance to the unconscious Ienzo. The truth was, she hoped that her cousin will somehow woke up from his stupor and lead the conversation to somewhere interesting. Usually, she'll just sit beside her cousin, occasionally reading him the newspapers even if he couldn't hear it. Most of the time, she talked to him about her school and stuff. But today was special. There's someone else in the room. She's too shy to do those stuff in front of someone she barely knew. "Um... Mister Kai, you're from the academy, right? So why are you in the city?" Ayase asked, trying to make a conversation.

Most of the students hadn't seen civilization in awhile, so the school thought it'd do them some good."

At least Kai wasn't there because he's booted out from the academy, or anything worse. Although one could easily thought such way, judging Kai brutish stature and his ogreish method he showed before. "..." Ayase sat there, without doing anything much. Awkward silence lingered inside the room.
