It was a fine day indeed. The sky was bright with a few clouds on it. It was an excellent day to be in a theme park or going to a picnic. Or perhaps watching a movie at Rainbow Cinema or having a cup of coffee in Starton Cafe. A fine day indeed, that if you're not stuck in a hospital. Light poured into room 216, illuminating the place. Inside, there's a boy in a loose blue cloth, appears to be sleeping peacefully on bed. It was Ienzo, who was injured when the the Central Arena collapsed, or that what everyone else thought. An IV was attached to his right hand. A machine next to the left side was showing up and down motion of a wave, probably the state of his brain activity. Putting all those equipments aside, there were countless stuffed animals at the right side of the bed, some were the standard doll like bears and giraffes, while others were duel monsters such as Rescue cat and a chibi Green Baboon. A vase containing white daisies was put on the desk on the right side of Ienzo, a few meters from the wall where the windows were open, allowing warm wind to blew into the room. Ienzo appeared to be sleeping with a calm expression on his face. He didn't seem to be awaking soon, as the even the doctor did not seem to know when he'll woke up. Stepping out of the elevator, Kai headed for room 216. Where is friend Ienzo was probably resting, the accident was pretty tragic. The whole building collapsed and everything, and it seemed that Ienzo and I were the cause of it. Probably more of me than him, seeing as how I activated that second Ojama Hurricane spell card. With it being a Shadow Game, or whatever, didn't help the matter either. Heading down the hallway, Kai noticed some open doors. A lot of people seemed to sick, wonder of what? Anyway, arriving at room 216, Kai grabbed the doorknob and twisted it, he slowly opened the door and looked inside, stepping inside, he quietly shut the door behind him. Hopefully, Ienzo was asleep, Kai just wanted to see how he was doing. Walking in, Kai noticed a stuffed animals, some flowers. Y'know, the usual hospital "Get well" gifts. Then, there was Ienzo. Appeared to be asleep, looked to be doing okay. Didn't seem too beat up. Walking to his bedside, he took off his sunglasses and took a seat, next to the window and the air conditioner. Placing his sunglasses on the nightstand next to Ienzo, he sat there for a moment. Kai felt bad for putting him here, but it was Ienzo's own damn fault.. He quietly said to himself, "Dumbass...." he was opening, Ienzo was asleep and didn't hear it! 0_0 [OOC: Frantic crazyness time!? =D] |

A few minutes after the CWA student arrived at the floor, Ayase stepped out from the same elevator, humming cheerfully. Calmly, she walked towards room 216, hugging the tattered Sea Koala with one hand and holding a white daisy in another. It looks like she was going to visit someone, obviously. It had been her weekly routine since the last two months. A nurse passed by her and greeted her warmly, and she replied back just the same way. She came so frequent that all the staff that works on the floor knew her. Slowly, she approached room 216. Didn't care to knock, she twisted the doorknob and walked into the room. "Good morning, Onii...-!?" Ayase was surprised to see someone she met earlier, sitting by her cousin. He appeared to be troubled and a bit sad. She didn't know that both her cousin and Kai were friends. "Mister Kai, what are you doing here?" Ayase asked with a puzzled face. |

....!? Looking towards the door, was Ayase, the girl from earlier. "Um.." he didn't know what to say, really... No... She couldn't be... Looking at Ienzo, then back at Ayase, "Uh... Same question.." he looked confused, again he looked at sleeping beauty and back at Ayase, keeping his focus on her now. |

Ayase didn't answered the question right away. Instead, she walked towards the sleeping Ienzo and placed the white daisy she's holding into the vase, before plopped the tattered doll among the countless stuffed animals. She took a small container at the other side of the room and watered the vase with water in it. "I have said earlier that I wanted to meet my cousin, right? Well, there he is, on the bed," she said to Kai, pointing to the Ienzo who's sleeping peacefully on the bed. What she said did had some sense in it. If you compared the two of them, you might probably see a striking resemblance between the two. "So, what brought you here? Do you by any chance knew my cousin?" she took her turn to ask her original question. |

"Well, yeah." he answered, but he didn't wanna tell her the accident, he didn't wanna make the young girl have a heart-attack or something.. "Your cousin and I are--... Well, maybe 'was' great friends back at Crimson Wind Academy." he sighed, with a small flashback of the accident. "You monster!" Ienzo was furious that day, it's like he had lost his best friend... "Was?" Ayase scrunched her brow as she heard what Kai had just told. She certainly didn't like the sound of it. Did they had some fight? She assumed that they are now enemies, or something. What could Ienzo possibly do to a nice person like Kai? Ayase can't think of anything that her lively but clumsy cousin was capable of doing such things. "Too bad. Well, I hope things turn out well between the you two," she chimed. Walking to the other end of the room, she lifted a small chair and placed it on the other side of the bed, opposite to Kai. She was always interested to know how his cousin was in CWA. Maybe she could find it out from his ex-greatest friend. "I'm sure that Ienzo would be very happy for you to visit him," she said, smiling. |

... Shichiro didn't say anything, he just smiled at the young girl. He can't go telling her what really happen, because she probably wouldn't take it too well. Letting in a sigh, he had hoped Ienzo would wake up soon, so they could discuss what happen. inb4 Ienzo? =D |

Ayase noticed that Kai sighed, as if waiting him to woke up and make the situation less awkward. Most probably he didn't know that her cousin wasn't going to be up and going anytime soon. She didn't really understood what the doctors had told. She could only make out one thing; that her cousin might not wake up forever. "He did nothing since he came back," Ayase pouted , glancing at her cousin. There a tone of disapproval in her voice. "All he did was sleep, nothing else," she sighed. She put on a smile, a weak and sad one. Then, there was a brief silence. She was reminiscing the happiness she had when she heard that Ienzo was coming home, only to found him battered and injured. "He didn't even greet me," she continued, her weak smile fading. There's a slight hint of sadness in her expression. |
