The Divine Light
|
Sky was ecstatic. There were lights, there were sounds, there were Duel Monsters decorations everywhere. And most importantly, there were smiles to catch on film. She pressed down on the shutter button on her new camera, capturing a nice picture of a student playing a game in a booth. With that done, she ran across the open courtyard to her next location. She stood next to the fountain of Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon and took a picture of several of the students nearby. They were out of focus, and behind the great Dragon. The sun shone overhead, creating interesting lighting on the statue itself. It was another satisfactory shot. Somewhere nearby, Akane and her friend were wandering. To be honest, Sky had lost track of them. But that didn't matter. She was busy having a wonderful opportunity to use her new camera. She was so happy to take pictures that she didn't even realize that she was completely alone. She noted it, but it did not trouble her as it normally would have. Her joy was enough to temporarily push aside her fear. |

Change is a funny thing...

[From: Unwritten Adventures] A little white cabbit had been bouncing along in front of a fiery-haired youth as he'd entered the amusement park. Taking in the feeling of his surroundings. Yes. The festive environment was certainly one that he enjoyed a lot of the time. There were people, there were decorations, and most importantly, there was jubilation for the opening of this grand amusement park. This happy setting was certainly one that Lumis hadn't seen in quite awhile, and it was one that was somewhat missed. Even during the Pro Circuit Visitation 2 months earlier, the level of happiness just hadn't been all that high. But now, the excitement that was held so dear to the many students and faculty of Crimson Wind Academy was beginning to show itself in a grand explosion. Lumis could even tell how excited Wiz was. The little white creature darted about constantly, the excitement of his surroundings getting to him like the caffeine in coffee. He knew his master was nearby, so he was sure to move slow enough and carefully enough to not get stepped on and to keep his master in his range of vision. Amongst all of the cheering, if one listened carefully, they would be able to hear his *mews* of excitement and joy. And then, Wiz had bumped into a familiar person with a bit of a *thud* as his head hit a certain platinum-blond, blue-eyed girl. Rubbing his head lightly with his paws, Wiz looked up and recognized this girl. She was the one he'd bumped into in the Library about 2 months earlier! Mewing and pawing at the girl's leg, Wiz looked up at her excitedly, as if trying to greet her. |

Blue-Eyed Girl of Destiny
|
A young girl stood on the other side of the the Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon fountain, unaware of the others around it. She felt right at home here, next to the awesome statue of the mighty dragon. It was a dragon with whom she'd been a perfect team with since she started following the game of Duel Monsters. She raised her duel disk and looked at her deck, placing her fingers on the top card and pulling it, revealing her own Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon card. She smiled at the three headed dragon and looked up at the statue, her long silverish-blue hair blowing in the gentle wind. She was wearing a light blue dress which covered up to just below her knees. Her soft skin seemed to glow in the radiant sunlight. The sleeves on her dress stopped halfway down her upper arms, ending in a soft frill-type edge. It was a summer dress that she liked to don at times. On her left forearm she wore the custom-made duel disk which symbolized her bond with her deck and the game of duel monsters. It was the shape of a Blue-Eyes White Dragon's head. Inside its jaws rested her Blue-Eyes of Destiny deck, which had won her countless duels. Slung over her right shoulder was a small purse, inside of which rested her PDA as well as her notebook. Kisa Ashina looked around at the rides and shops. Today would be a fun day! But she didn't want to spend it alone either. Maybe she might find a couple of her Obelisk girl friends and hang out with them. She decided to wait here to see who she spotted coming in first before entering the main park. |

As Wiz's nose worked there was another scent in the air. A more familiar scent that had been his favorite for a long 2 months. Mewing in happiness and glee, it fled from the platinum-blonde, blue-eyed girl towards that other scent. Wiz's pace picked up as he saw his target at the base of the gigantic Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon. Scurrying as fast as he possibly could, he lunged forwards in a giant leap, landing at the feet of his destination. Letting out a loud *mew* to alert her of his presence, Wiz nuzzled his head into her ankle, his fur soft against her radiant skin. Lumis, suddenly realizing that he'd lost sight of Wiz, began to look about in alert. Wiz might have been taken! Panicking a little, but keeping some form of composure, Lumis' eyes darted about, searching for his dear friend and partner. Cupping his hands in a megaphone-like fashion, he'd called out in the middle of the crowd, not caring if anyone stared at this point. "Wiz! Where are you?!" |

Kisa gasped as the little furball launched and tackled her ankle. "What in heaven's name?! Get o.....Wiz?!" Her eyes lit up in recognition as she realized that her attacker was none other than the little cabbit that belonged to Lumis. "What are you doing here? Wait...." She thought for a moment and quickly scooped him up into her hands and stood up, looking around hopefully. "If you're here, then that means......." That was when she spotted him.....her Ra Yellow companion and lover. Perhaps 'lover' wasn't exactly the word, considering it's meaning.....but the two were certainly in love. They'd been together for a little over two months, and every day together was better than the last. "Lumis!" She broke out into a run, moving Wiz to her shoulder, and in one sudden motion, she flung her arms around Lumis Raonlier and kissed his lips in a quick and happily surprised greeting. |

It all happened in just moments. At one moment, he was calling out for Wiz, and at the next, there was a surprisingly soft sensation on his lips and a warm feeling around the entirety of his body. His eyes, open the whole time, had only just begun to process the thoughts, feelings, and sensations of the moment at hand. He heard the sound of people chattering around them, felt the piercing glares of the many other guys who were around them, smelt the gentle aroma of a familiar person, saw the eyes of one of the people he'd wanted to see since the trip started, and tasted the subtle flavors of the person whose lips were pressed so joyfully against his. Wiz gave a soft, encouraging *mew* as the two lovebirds held a public display of affection right in the middle of a large, staring crowd. Yet, Lumis found himself not minding as a simple thought flooded his mind while he was unable to speak due to the blockage of his lips. Kisa... |

Kisa pressed her lips harder against his, closing her eyes as she did so. After a long moment, she opened her eyes and pulled away, resting her hands gently on his shoulders and gazing into his eyes. She didn't even care about the others watching them. Surely they all had seen enough soap operas to not be surprised that a young girl and young guy would actually kiss each other in public? Well, she was known for her strangeness and uniqueness, granted, it was moreso in dueling and in her career choice than anything else. Not every young girl dreamed of getting dirty while digging in the sand and/or dirt searching for lost relics. "Good morning, Mr. Raonlier," she spoke softly, a whisper really, and in a voice that was only for him, in a tone that only he could hear. Her gentle fingers grasped his soft hair as she spoke and smiled at him. She felt like she hadn't seen him for weeks....even though it'd only been maybe just one week tops. |

Lumis felt his face flush crimson as she'd pressed her lips harder against his and he couldn't help but move into it as well, his arms bringing her into an embrace around her waist, his own eyes closing and his own lips pressing against hers willingly. As he'd continued the kiss, his embarrassment dissolved into a comfortable, wanting feeling. As they'd slowly broken the kiss, he'd heard her voice crawl into her ear and he'd felt a chill crawl up his spine while he'd tried to compose himself. "G-Good morning, Miss Ashina..." |

Kisa giggled softly, happy that she still had that effect on him. She clasped her hands behind her back and stood cutely. "I didn't think you were coming on the trip! I didn't see you at the hotel anywhere." She had looked for him as soon as they had arrived, but she hadn't been able to spot him anywhere, not with the crowd of people swarming the parking lot. Even at dinner and breakfast, she couldn't find him anywhere. She was hoping that he hadn't opted out of the field trip.....she had been looking forward to spending some time with him on this trip. But when she didn't even see him at breakfast, she had been disappointed. But now that he was here......she was enlightened! Now this trip would be one to remember! |

The Divine Light

Something touched Sky's leg. She looked down at it in surprise. It was some sort of animal... one she felt she should recognize. It was furry, and white, and it looked adorable. She couldn't quite tell if it was a cat or a rabbit... which made it seem too familiar. Suddenly, the animal ran away as quickly as it had appeared. Sky followed it with her eyes until it disappeared in the crowd of people. She hoped the animal wasn't trampled by them, but judging by its speed and agility, being trampled was unlikely. "Wiz! Where are you?!" That voice belonged to Lumis Raonlier. And that animal also belonged to him; it was Wiz, his pet cabbit. Logically, Lumis would have brought his companion on an important trip like this one. It all made sense now. However, the mystery of the missing cabbit would need to be solved right away. Sky began to follow where she had seen Wiz go, while at the same time heading toward the voice his owner-- chances were it might head in his direction if he heard Lumis' call. However, she was not the one to locate the missing cabbit. Apparently, Wiz had been found by Kisa Ashina. Kisa was on her way to give Wiz back to Lumis. She was running toward him. She was wrapping her arms around him. She was... kissing him? Sky took a quick step back away from her two classmates, startled by their sudden public display of affection. A flash of light erupted from her hands. She looked down at the camera she was still holding. She let go of it, and let it hang loosely around her neck. Sky looked up at them. Slowly, she approached. When they were finished conversing in low tones to one another, perhaps they might notice her and let her follow them for a bit. She was all by herself, after all. |
