It has come to my (IE, me, personally) attention that the current RP setting of "morning" will continue onward for an entire full IRL week. To me, that just sounds rather... ridiculous now. We're already know for really long, sluggish RPs. Why drag on the morning setting even longer? From what I can tell, all current RPs can easily extend into the afternoon, or take place there. I believe some time ago we (in the chat) agreed to have a time division of: Morning: 1 week Afternoon: 2 weeks Evening: 1 week With divisions as needed, should evening require more time, or morning be cut completely to extend something else (or just in general move everything up). Furthermore, it has also been stated that "Phase Week" should be made much much shorter. I personally like 3 days myself, but that can be up to later on discussions. The point of doing this is to speed up RPs, because as we all know, days take way too long. <_< So like... yeah. Edit: It's 3 AM, so if this doesn't make sense, you write it. Any and all changes should be approved by a majority of the staff (or a majority of members), preferably in a thread somewhere so a formal record is kept. That being said, I approve shortening days to something more workable. |

I'm sure I'm not the only one who has planned for an extra week of morning setting available. Therefore I am against any immediate acceleration. For future days, I do believe that compressing everything to a month sounds plausible. Of course, the story comes first, so maximum flexibility should be retained. Secondly, I do not believe that Phase Week should be shortened. Phase Week has worked at the length it is, from what I see. |
