If darkness is justice, I wouldn't give a damn of it's corruption..
(Enter Ayase)

The warm wind blew, shaking the flakes of cherry blossom petals off from the cherry trees. The sun shines brightly, drenching the park with light. Birds were singing happily, heralding the start of a new day. It's another fine day in Dusk Memorial Park, dedicated to those who had lost their lives at the Solar Dusk Academy. It's truly fitting to be a place for remembrance, as the place was breathtakingly beautiful. The place wasn't crowded, but there are quite a number of people in there, mostly young couples.

Ayase Takeda was standing in front the Solar Dusk memorial. From behind, one could assume that she was a tourist, a foreigner. Not really, as the said person is actually a resident of the city. This false assumption is mainly caused by her tawny hair and golden eyes. She was looking at the monument erected at the heart of the park with a pair of sad eyes.

Smack!

Ayase was nearly thrown over the rails when something hit her head from behind. It was so hard that it caused her eyes to water
"Owwie... what's that for?" she said, turning to face a boyish-looking girl with a baton of rolled-out newspaper in her hand. She had a rather exasperated expression. "That's for being all gloomy during this fine day! We are going to the mall, Ayase. Not to attend some sort of funeral," she fumed, crossing her arms.

"I guess so..." Ayase simply replied half-heartedly. She was troubled about the recent events that had occured. She's still in shock at the loss of one of her friend when Solar Dusk Academy was razed to the ground. Not long after that, she was surprised by the incident that ended up her cousin in a coma.

"Don't worry. The past is the past," her friend said, looking at the monument. "What's important is that we continuing our lives for her. I bet she didn't want you to be sad all the time, right? Same goes to your cousin. Don't worry. I'm sure that he'll make it through," she said, trying to cheer her up. "Hopefully,"

"I-" Ayase tried to speak, but her friend suddenly grabbed her hand. "Come on; let’s not keep the others waiting, 'kay? It's not easy to get everyone together, you know?" she said, ignoring whatever that Ayase had in her mind. Sighing, Ayase just let herself to be dragged by her friend.
