Rou frowned inwardly as he watched her start randomly shake her head. He was unsure of whether or not she was trying to tell him she didn't want to come, or if she was just losing it for the moment, but Rou wasn't overly concerned. She seemed to come around a moment later, and began speaking for herself. As he looked down at her, he pocketed his left hand, leaving his right extended. He could swear that he could see something concealed within her eyes; swear that it looked almost like she was pained, but he was unsure. She seemed to stutter as she said alone, and Rou couldn't be sure why. Maybe she had had a bad break up recently? Perhaps she simply was upset, because she had no friends? Rou was unable to tell, but she had continued to speak. She seemed to be interested in taking him up on his offer, or at least, so he assumed. She had said that it would be nice to hang out with someone; she just hadn't said that it would be nice to hang out with them. Her words could easily be deciphered as such, but perhaps that wasn't quite the case? Rou wasn't sure. She had also mentioned that she might be called away on Nurse's duty. Of course, Rou had known that when he had invited her along. She was wearing the entire Medic-shtick on her persona, so it could only be assumed she was somehow a medical person. Rou knew that there was always the possibility of her getting called away during the middle of their fun, but that wouldn't deter him. He smiled broadly down at the girl, extending his hand a bit further, as if asking her to take it. His bright blues caught a bit of the sun, and a bright excitement could be seen lurking in them, burning to get going. However, a longing was also visible within them as he looked down at her, a yearning for her to come with him, and to have a good time. A gentle fall breeze sent his hair swaying just to the side, pulled to the left. He breathed in, contemplating his next words thoughtfully. He wanted her to come with him, to come with them, and to be able to enjoy herself. The bit she had exhibited there was a good indication that she could definitely benefit from the good time, but how to say it? "Of course you can get called away at any minute, but it doesn't matter. You should get to have a bit of fun without worrying about some medimergency. Besides, I bet that being on call could potentially be fun, if you wanted us to come with you too," he said with a grin. He thrust his hand forward again, trying to make her notice it, and to encourage her to take it. "Now come on..... Oh, well, we haven't actually introduced ourselves, have we? My name is Rounin Nagasaki. You can call me Rou, if you want. It's actually probably my choice, over Rounin. What about you? What's your name?" he asked with a polite tone of voice. His smile remained kind, and the sparkle in his eyes remained. "Hurry up, by the way! Lets go! Before all the lines start! The park is gonna open in a few minutes, ya know!" he said with a laugh. |

When she had taken his hand, she had stood up. Rou had given a gentle pull, helping her to her feet. The gentlemanly thing to do, of course. She was extremely light, and he used absolutely no strength pulling her up, though it seemed that had been the proper course of action. It seemed that if he had used much more strength, he would've probably pulled her off balance, and that's just never a pleasant experience. "Ami? What a nice name. It's nice to meet you as well," he said with a smile and a nod of his head. He grinned down at her when she asked him to lead the way, and glanced around for his behemoth of a roommate. As he searched around, he remembered that he had left until he had finished with his business. Rou swore inwardly as he realized that he didn't have his PDA on him, and that had been how Kai had told him to get in touch with him. He fumbled around in his pocket, searching until he found his cell phone. With a quick scan through the numbers, he confirmed that he had never added a number for Kai, and that without his PDA, he wasn't getting in touch with him. "Hmm... Well this is a predicament," he said silently to himself as his eyes scanned randomly from side to side, searching for his lost giant. He knew that if he couldn't see him, odds are he was long gone. It had only been a few minutes since he had walked away, maybe five or ten at the most, but he could have gotten to any number of places by now. He laughed somewhat awkward as he saw that his bud was no where in the immediate area. He looked down, and saw he still had Ami's hand in his. He arched a brow, a bit surprised that he'd forgotten to let go, but then again, he had just lost his roommate. He gave a quick shrug of his shoulders, probably appearing a bit schizo with his random movements, and gestures, but he wasn't too overly concerned. He was pretty sure he was in his right mind! That was when he realized that their pets had gone off on their own too! They had all left him alone, and here he was with the new girl. The real question now was, should he go and find his roommate, or should he just have some fun with her. After all, she had said she wasn't expecting anyone, and Kai was probably having fun at the moment himself. Maybe Rou should just take her for a bit of fun, surely Kai would show up before too terribly long. He smiled lightly down at Ami, trying to make up his mind. He and Kai did have some plans, but they weren't for until later. Kai did know where Rou was, and if he went looking for the bastard, odds are they wouldn't see one another until they were back in their room tonight. That would put a major damper in their plans, and that would just not be good for business! He asserted a gentle pressure with his thumb, pressing down on the back of her hand, while his other fings took a firm grip on the palm of her hand. With a light pull, he attempted to regain her attention, motioning off toward the park. They weren't so alone anymore, but there had only been a couple or two, and a few random students who had walked through the gates so far. "C'mon Ami! We'll go do some stuff before everyone else gets here! What would you like to do first?" he asked with a quick grin. |

Ami watched Rou patiently as he seemed to have a hard time deciding what to do next. She could see in his eyes that he had conflicting thoughts on the topic, shrugging here, looking there.....until he gently squeezed her hand, apparently finally making his decision. "What would you like to do first?" She thought about her answer, looking around at all the options. Most of the rides weren't really up and running, and it just wouldn't be any kind of Amusement Park fun if they didn't have others to ride with. But then the only thing left were the shops and restaurants. She didn't feel right dragging her new friend into the shops with her, as he would probably get bored easily. "Well...." she began slowly, and right then she remembered something about Kaiba Land that no other Amusement Park had. "What about the Virtual Room?" |
