Takuya walked into the Card Shop, and was taken aback by how many cards were in one room. Duel disks, deck boxes, deckbox belts, and everything an aspiring dueling fan would love! "Man...This is awesome!" Takuya said, as he walked towards the counter. A cheerful-looking girl behind the counter turned around. "Oh hello!" she said enthusiastically. "How may I help you?" she asked. "Oh..I was wondering if you had any Rainbow Dragons?" Takuya asked her. "Oh wow...Rainbow Dragon?" the countergirl asked. "That's a really rare card...". "I understand if you don't have it.." Takuya said, smiling as he began to turn around. "Oh...Well...I have one left...Right here..." the countergirl said, going to a bottom shelf and taking out a box. She opened the box, and there was a "Rainbow Dragon" ultimate rare inside. Takuya stared blankly at it. Such a beautiful-looking card... "How much?" was all he could say. "It's worth a lot. But if you could give me a good enough reason to give it to you, you'll get it. Free." The counter girl challenged him. "Good thing I brought it with me..." Takuya said, as he reached for his deckbox and took out his Ghost Rare Rainbow Neos. He showed her the card from his hand. not really letting her touch it. It was far too precious. "Oh...Amazing..." she said breathlessly, as she nodded, signaling that she had finished looking at it. "Well, you've got me convinced. Here. And treat it with kindness, please..." she said, handing over the "Rainbow Dragon" card. "I will..." Takuya said, adding the card & Rainbow Neos into his deck. He took a seat and started checking out his deck, to see if everything was in perfect order. Time to get ready to summon Rainbow Neos. |

Striding into the cardshop Luthien looked around. Seeing nothing but a Red seated at the counter Luthien walked up to it. Glancing over Luthien noticed the Osiris was flipping through his deck. Letting out a scoff Luthien started to look over the available cards list. |

Takuya looked up for a split second to see a Ra walk into the card shop. But after that, he continued to focus on his deck. It would be pretty tough to do it, but it seemed possible now. As he finished off his deck editing by looking at it one last time, he dropped a card right by the Ra. Takuya rushed after the card, and stumbled into the Ra's torso, unaware that he was in the way. As he brushed off the "Monster Reborn" card he had dropped, He picked himself up, and decided to introduce himself. "Hey there. I'm Takuya." Takuya said sprightly. No reason to be mean to a person he just met, right? |

(From: To Slay a Dragon) After having another incomplete duel in the academy, Gouki opens the door to the card store and walks right in. His red eyes then point towards to the women behind the counter who is selling cards. Gouki came in the store for certain cards, and he is going to make his purchase. "I wish to purchase two Dark Armed Dragons and three copies of Allure of Darkness to improve my deck for the newly recent format" The woman behind the counter seemed to have been surprised by the Ra Yellow student's order, as it was more expensive then the purchase by the previous Osiris. Allure of Darkness wasn't too hard for the store to have for sell, but the new Dark Armed Dragons weren't as easily. Lucky for Gouki, there were still some copies left. "Oh my...that's a huge purchase you have there sir. I still have some Dark Armed Dragons for sell and we got plenty of Allures as well. However, the total is going to be $499.75..." Gouki was quite alarmed due to the high price on only 5 cards. $500 could buy a lot of stuff, but just for pieces of card board?! At least the prices on the Dark Armed Dragons aren't as high as he saw before. However, Gouki had the money to pay for his new cards thanks to his successful father. He reached into his pockets for his checkbook and took his favorite blood pen to write on the piece of paper. The Ra Yellow then gave the check to the woman and received his cards. "Finally! I got my hands on these new expensive cards. Now my deck will be a lot more powerful!" Gouki then eagerly took out his deck box and pulled out five cards from their card sleeves and replaced them with the new cards he just purchased. There was a huge grin on Gouki's face and now was eager to test his new deck. |

Your deck will fail. Luthien addressed it at both of the students present and to no one in particular at the same time. A smile crept to his lips and he continued to flip through the book, not looking up once. |

Gouki turned his direction to the Ra Yellow who belittled his new deck with a smirk. He didn't feel insulted by the insult to his deck because it seemed as Gouki has found an new opponent that he can test his deck on. The Ra Yellow then responds to his fellow dorm mate. "A deck with two Dark Armed Dragons and three copies of Allure of Darkness should point out to you that right now I have a very powerful deck just for this format. Perhaps you would like to see this deck in action right in front of you to prove your little insult false." Gouki anticipated a response from the fellow Ra Yellow, as it would be interesting to test his new deck outside of a duel simulation. |

"Uh..." Takuya said, as he scratched the back of his head and stepped back a bit. The Ra Yellow students were at each other. This wasn't something an Osiris should be meddling in. So Takuya took another step back, and walked closer towards the door, not even turning his back. "I really want to make it a Battle Royale, but that's not even a legal playing stlye here. Guess I'll have to get out of here. FAST!" Takuya thought to himself, slightly laughing. Time to go! [To: Unknown] |

Rina, after having a sweetened bowl of O's and retrieving her school bag, made her way to the card shop. She couldn't help herself, this time. While what she said to the large Demitri was true, that there wasn't anything in the shop that she needed, there was, in fact, something that she desired. The Ra-clad girl entered the building and immediately headed to the duel disk section. Among the dozens of customized disks, one stood out in front of her. In an angled position, a "cross" type duel disk was mounted against the wall. It had a simplistic design, but was, nonetheless, cool, in her eyes. She wanted it, no doubts about that. Her eyes traveled a tad lower, revisiting the price tag that accompanied it. ".... ...." It was well over one hundred dollars, almost two hundred. There was no way that she could afford such a thing, right now. She'd have to wait approximately two months to buy it, assuming that she could manage to save her money without spending a single dime. Unfortunately, even she knew that'd be difficult, or even near impossible. And in that case, it'd probably be three months instead of two. Rina sighed at the though of holding back for so long. In the back of her mind, she still hadn't reached a decision yet, in regards to Billie idea on getting a job at the academy. She stood before the duel disks, staring, but no longer paying them any mind. Rather, she had zoned out, thinking over possible scenarios of herself involved in a work-filled life. Nothing else crossed her mind at the time. |

'Impossible' is just a word the weak use to make themselves feel better.

It took Demitri less than ten minutes to reach the card shop at his quick pace. Arriving at the store, he was relieved to find that they were already open. As he approached the entrance, a young Osiris student nearly ran right into him as he exited the store, apparently intent on leaving what one would assume was a potential battleground. "Oh great...just what I didn't need. Oh well, so long as they don't interfere with my business here..." After watching the Red run off, he entered the store. Inside, Demitri was a bit concerned to find the one in black that he had encountered briefly in the forest. He wasn't in the mood to deal with someone like him so early in the day...and to make matters worse, the hot-blooded Gouki seemed to be challenging the young man to a duel. Doesn't he have anything better to duel than throw around challenges like that? Honestly, that one's life seems to revolve around this game. Not that it's surprising really, considering how thoroughly Duel Monsters has integrated itself into society...but still... Another individual was perusing the Duel Disk section. A second look revealed a head of orange hair that could only belong to the one known as Rina. She seemed to be in a bit of a daze as she stared at an older model duel disk, obviously at odds as to whether or not to purchase it. Gouki had an air about him that was reminiscent of a child that had just acquired a new toy, and was eager to show it off. The one in black seemed to be ignoring him, however. Instead, he was browsing through the various catalogs at the front counter. He wore a sly grin on his face, similar to a hunter that was stalking a fresh piece of meat. Casting thoughts of these individuals from his mind, Demitri approached the counter. "Hi! Can I help you?" "Indeed you can. I've come looking for the cards on this list. Do you have them in stock?" Handing a small list to the clerk, she displayed a slight bit of surprise at the contents. Wow...I haven't had an order for any of these in ages. You sure you wouldn't prefer something like a shiny new Dark Armed Dragon? It'd probably be far more useful nowadays, and it certainly would suit you better than any of these!" The clerk said with a smile. "My thanks, but I've a reason for needing these cards." Demitri replied, a pleasant smile on his face. "Awww...suit yourself." The clerk headed to the back, a slight bit of dissatisfaction on her face. While he waited for her return, Demitri reached into his coat. Producing a well-worn copy of "The Art of War" as translated by Lionel Giles, he began to read. He had read it cover to cover countless times...but never grew tired of perusing it's pages. |

After a good, long while, Rina snapped out of her daze and began focusing on the duel disk, again. Only for a moment, though, as any more gawking would look pretty bad. She raised her left arm and glanced at the academy-style duel disk on her arm. "Should I...?" It was actually more of a longing stare. ".... ...." Her arm lowered. She glanced around the building's interior, mostly towards the other individuals within. But she quickly noticed one person who wasn't here when she, herself, had entered: a book-reading giant of a man "...! ...Oh hey, it's Demitri," she noted to herself. The Obelisk male was also reading in the store. Rina was kinda curious as to what it was that he was reading; equally curious about his intentions within the academy-run Duel Monsters shop. The thick-ponytailed redhead calmly strolled his way. As she drew nearer to the front counter, she called out towards him, taking note that she was inside a building that wasn't made for noisy people. "Demitri...! ...Yo~!" She continued her approach, giving him a two-fingered greeting if he looked her way. |
