Billie casually walked in to the cafe, astonished at it's beauty. The beautiful elegant windows, the soft candle light, as well as the beautiful marble floor. The elegant decoration seemed to add quite a bit of class to the small little coffee shop. "Will that be a table for one or two?" asked the maitre'd. He wore a full tuxedo, black hair gelled down, and he seemed to have a bit of a french accent. The man seemed to be in his late 20s or early 30s. "Uhh... two. I'm expecting someone." said Billie, a tint of pink. The way the man was staring at her, it was obvious what he was thinking. She quickly added "It's not a date!" Why did Billie feel the need to defend herself? In any case, the man led her to where she would be waiting, a circular wooden table with an elaborate looking wooden chair. The table had a small vase with a beautiful rose in it. After the matre'd left, Billie examined the flower. It was difficult to see the flower with her naked eye, especially in the dim candle light. She touched it gently. "Hehe. Plastic." she said. "How tragic that something so beautiful could end up so fake." A little tired of waiting Billie called over the waiter, asking for a cup of tea before Kouji showed up. |

Kouji checked his watch. "Damn, I'm always late." he said as he continued running towards the Cafe. Honestly, he was in the middle of chasing a being of Darkness, trying to save countless students from themselves, and the Christian girl just had to meet him? Kouji could've ignored it, but she had given him something else he wanted. Benefit of the doubt. Meaning she was ready to believe there was a dark power in her deck. And what would be better for her to know than to talk with the person most knowledgeable about Darkness itself? Kouji, being influenced by Darkness itself, knows what you have to pay back in order to have such power. Nobody deserved that. Not even an annoying Christian girl. But then Kouji remembered when he saw Billie last. She admitted to having a dream with a card spirit. No doubt this card spirit was just a pawn of Darkness, expecting to be great. But Kouji knew better than a card spirit. It was part of a plan. A plan he would not let to work. As he opened the doors to the Cafe, there was a waiter by the door. "Table for one, sir? OR are you here for the pretty lady over there?" the waiter asked, pointing towards a girl sipping tea. She was wearing a nice purple shirt, with gold on it's edges and down the shirt. She was also wearing a white skirt. No duel disk, no deckbox belt, no Ra Yellow uniform, but from the long white hair, Kouji knew that was Billie. He walked towards Billie and touched her shoulder. "Hey, there." He said, smiling. |

Billie sat at the cafe, slowly drinking from a small cup with no handle. When she had first arrived on the island, she did not know exactly how to pick up a cup such as this, as she was used to the Eurpoean style of tea cups. So, she just picked up with one hand, not taking into account the fact that smoke had been billowing out of the cup. The hot tea quickly struck a painful nerve in her hand, causing her to spill it and drop it onto her clothes. Overall, a lesson well learned. However, that was all in the past. Ms. Hatcher knew from experience how to drink tea now. She'd wait for it too cool before bringing the drink to her lips, which is what she had done on this such occassion. As she sat and drank, a hand came to find a spot on her shoulder. Startled, she almost dropped the cup of ginsing tea she had been enjoying. Rather, she just let the cup find a place on the table, spilling it lightly on the wooden table's white table cloth. "Oh, it's just you." she said, looking back at Kouji. She grabbed a napkin and began to wipe any tea-like residue from her fingers, before playfully combing her hand through her hair, adjusting it so the Osiris student could better see her face, and she could have a better look at him. He wore a black suit with a matching black shirt, however he did not seem to want wear a tie. Feeling at her own neck, she laughed a bit to herself, that she had been the one to wear a tie in his place. He certainly looked different all dressed up. "Have a seat then." she said. When he sat, she passed Kouji a menu. Edited by Billie Hatcher, Mar 13 2008, 04:07 PM.

"Ah. Thanks." Kouji said, as he took a seat across from Billie. She gently stroked her hand through her hair to reveal more of her pretty face. She then offered him a menu. "Ah, no thanks. I'm fine." Kouji said, as he took the menu, and gave it to the waiter. "Water is fine for now." Kouji asked the waiter as he nodded. The waiter left the table. "So Billie, what did you want to talk about?" Kouji asked, although he already knew. |

"You know as well as I do what I wanted to ask." she said, a tone of seriousness in her voice. "What do you know about me? What did you mean by the darkness? What do you know about Van'Dalygon? What is your reason for intruding into my life?" So many questions were in the girl, however she'd just start with this for now. |

Kouji smiled. "Yeah. I guess I did know." he said as he took a deep breath. "All right, first question was about you, right? Well, personally, I know almost nothing about you. All I know about you is youur age, your rank, your exam score, and your name. But since you've had that new deck, I've learned quite a lot more. Like pulling out your biography so far from the school, so I know quite a bit about your past." Billie looked at him, shocked. "I understand your shock on this matter, but I'll explain that later." Kouji assured her. "Now then, your second question is about Darkness. And I'll answer that with something simple." Kouji started. "See, where everything exists, there is light and darkness. The same thing applies to your soul. Now, generally, good is the light, and evil is the darkness. So I guess that will apply to your soul. It is white, or pure, in a sense where you a generally a good person. Now, the duel with Kratos that you lost opened up a little spot for darkness in your heart. And because of this, Van'Dalgyon, a card spirit tainted with evil darkness, has been feeding you lies on power that he will grant you." Kouji warned. "But he's nothing more than a pawn. A pawn in the eyes of the Darkness that resides in us duelists." Kouji said, taking the water the waiter brought. He took a sip of it, and put it down on the table. "Third question was already answered." Kouji said. "Van'Dalgyon is a mere pawn to the Darkness of duelists. So his lies of power and such are very limited, and the price you eventually pay isn't worth it." Another sip of water was taken. "Finally, I'll tell you that I didn't intrude in your life. But once Darkness is invovled with duelists such as yourself, I make it my business to stop it. Being formerly influenced by Darkness itself, and not just a mere pawn cost me a lot. So I don't want anybody feeling the same as I did." Kouji said, looking down. "It feels great, but kills you later on..." |

Billie blinked, attempting to decipher what the boy was going on about in his Darkness rant. From what she managed to hear, it sounded like the boy was nothing but a stalker who had somehow managed to hack into the school's databases in order to get to know her better. Billie took a sip of her tea, thinking to herself that she was hardly worth all that trouble, but none the less flattered. As he continued talking, she noted his talking about the soul. How much more wrong could this boy get? The Lord breathed life into her soul, that much she knew. The Lord was all good and all knowing. How could there be darkness in that? She knew God separated the two, the light from the darkness, and formed them into night and day. She rolled her eyes and his meager explanation of the soul. She then heard him speak on the spirit of the card she had obtained, Van'Dalygon. He was a pawn of darkness, according to him. "But... wait." she started. "Van'Dalygon is not a one of a kind card. There are probably plenty of cards just like it all around campus. Does that mean... they are all pawns too?" She recalled back to her loss against Kratos, and how he has used a Van'Dalygon himself. "Does this mean those who activate Van'Dalygon are all in danger just like me? What kind of price will we all have to pay?" Edited by Billie Hatcher, Mar 13 2008, 05:09 PM.

Kouji looked at Billie's face. The expression was obvious. "Just as a note, I already told you I'm not a stalker..." Kouji said, looking a bit down that it was the impression he gave off. "I guess I can show you how I know all of this later, so don't be alarmed." Kouji told her. The secret base, exposed? For the sake of justice. Then Billie questioned on the many Van'Dalgyons. Kouji thought she had been listening. "Uh...I mentioned your Van'Dalgyon being tainted with Darkness. Meaning that your Van'Dalgyon is one that was tainted with Darkness, allowing it's spirit form to enter your counciousness and such." Kouji said. He finished his cup of water. |

(OOC: When Darkness talks through Kabuto, his voice is noticeably lower) Kabuto had been wandering around the island until suddenly the world was ripped away from him. Everything disappeared and he was surrounded by darkness, merely floating in it. Hey! Whats happening? There was nothing. Sorry. Vandalgyon told me that this boy known as Kouji could interfere with us. We have no idea what sort of threat he may pose as of yet. Suddenly, Kabuto's face turned darker and he wheeled around towards the cafe at a breakneck pace. When he arrived, he noticed the waiter. "Hello. I am with a girl with white hair and a boy that I have yet to meet." "Right this way." Kabuto walked towards the two. Billie had dressed up for the occasion obviously. Kouji must have thought it was casual though. "Hello. I hope you do not mind if I join you. I was anxious to meet K-" He paused to think. "This boy that kissed you. I apologize if I am intruding on some sort of a date." He eyed Kouji. So this is the one annoying Vandalgyon. He even looks like a pest in person. He proceeded to pull over a chair and sat in between the two at their table fit for only two people, obviously making them both a bit uncomfortable. But their feelings meant nothing to him, he just had to make sure that Kouji didn't do anything stupid. Kabuto's feelings for Billie were meaningless. He just would have to make sure Billie fell for him as somewhat of a bribe for Kabuto in exchange for his body. But Kabuto didn't know that yet. |

Billie stared back at the Osiris Red student, letting his words sink in to her. Finally, the lady spoke, "You mentioned a price all duelists who fall into darkness pay." She started. "You also admitted you yourself had paid that price. What price do the fallen have to pay?" Just then, she could hear a door open. Though she clearly mentioned to the maitre'd that she wished for a table for two, it seemed that someone had decided to turn the table meant for a pair into a scene for three people. Billie looked up at Kabuto as she sat on her chair. His Blue school uniform seemed to clash a bit with the ambiance of the elegant and romantic looking coffee shop. "Hello. I hope you do not mind if I join you. I was anxious to meet K-" "This boy that kissed you. I apologize if I am intruding on some sort of a date." A date? With the Osiris!? Surely Kabuto knew she was a lady of standards. Though the boy did clean up quite well, looking very formal and perhaps even handsome in his suit that he wore out of respect for her, rather then because she had asked it from him, dating the boy was the furthest thing on her mind. As Kabuto sat down, there was a hint of awkwardness in the room. She turned to look at Kouji, wondering what he had made of the situation. Edited by Billie Hatcher, Mar 13 2008, 05:18 PM.
