Name: Aiya Age: 19 Dorm: Sebek Dorm Grade/Year: 1st Gender: Female Race: Human Height: 6'0 Weight: 159 Eye Color: hazel Hair Color: blonde Personality: Aiya takes the traits of a strong Amazon woman. She has the personality common to any girl, but when it comes to habits, some overlap those traits making them virtually unseen. One is her dialect. Instead of “me” she refers to in the third person, and when referring to self, it’s sometimes in third person. She virtually never says “a” or “an” for reference either. Even if this is the case of most Amazons, she still has a gentle nature in voice and touch until she is angered. She has a short temper when it comes to “ego” challenging concerns. Whether it’s strength, or her strong belief, most often pride, she tends to act out to challenge someone’s opinion to prove them other wise. Concerning herself, she is quite aware of her own strength. She is strong enough to perhaps withstand a charging bull and wrestle it down herself considering the challenges she were pressed with from the tribe of Amazons, and she has the scars to prove her endeavors. She has skills inherited from each Amazon, whether it’s taking the trait of playing a flute that was close to that of playing a Blowpipe, handling strong arm weapons, or even hand to hand combat, her physical condition is unquestionable. Because of this, it also tends to press a powerful flaw considering the tribe: She can’t use modern day devices such as computers. If there was only device she is perhaps use to using, it was a duel disk since Amazons and Harpies are one of many humanoid tribes that used the characteristics of monster summoning and Shadow Games to defend their territory. When it comes to Aiya as a duelist, she is quite serious. In competition, she holds nothing back. Her strategy is undeniable tactics seeing she is an Amazon, then using the field and her traits to her advantage is what she is best at. She is often compared to an army leader as she plans and focus, trying to spare as many of her own as possible since sacrificial tactics to meet her end aren’t something of her style. If anything, she considers it heartless, and because of her own feminine personality that wasn’t lost as an Amazon, she takes compassion serious as it’s the fuel to her flame when it comes to fighting. As a want to be wife, Aiya can be quite devoted. She not only takes the roles of ensuring satisfying a man seriously, but she also takes their safety seriously. This is most often because as an Amazon, the procedure is to “Cater” rather than to “Love” seeing that isn’t within the equation. This doesn’t go on to say that she has her own desires however as she often finds them in satisfying the one she is with. She is straightforward with emotional questions or matters as she would often ask if her services are enough. She is simply relying on her duty, and her heart is her duty rather than vice versa. Sacrificing herself for that cause is quite apart. Her devotion however can cause problems as being not familiar with the procedure of the human world can cause problems. Defining Characteristics: Her strength is one. No one her body size and mass should possess some strength. It is often thought by Hilda herself after seeing her that it was the effects of the Shadow Realm strengthening her as well as her own devotion to her training. On top of it all, she seems to have numerous numbers of markings on her body. One that is apparent is the black kanji for earth that runs at the higher of her back and stops just below her bottom. Her body has some healed scars that are light pink hues upon her skin. One of the most notable seems to be inside the right thigh as it was at one time very deep. Another noticeable one is on her right cheek. A little below that same eye. Those are the most noticeable however. Her most defining characteristics however is that of her original body wear. When it comes to challenges, even duels, she seems to change quickly into this top consisting of armor that nestles her bosoms and cloth like undergarments with a plated band that holds her cloth skirt that over laps her legs going all the way to her ankles and her feet. She seems to wear sandals all the time since they are more free to her form, and she’s use to it and skirts that are combat worthy. It’s because of that, her uniform is in the same style. Physical Appearance:  Just as is mostly, but when it comes to her school uniform, she wears something similar. Her jacket is without sleeves to keep her arm’s reach without limit. Her jacket is also trimmed short, so when she’s in motion, her torso is slightly revealed at times, but very little. Her bottom dress is a white skirt that is thin and light. Her choice wear is a pair of blue sandals to go with her uniform. Known Relatives: Xenneth Hikari - Age 17 (Fiancé) The Shy, and kept Nurse harnessing untapped talent and potential. Dreams to be a doctor. Because of the deal made between Harpie and Amazoness tribes within the Shadow Realm, she sees herself being wedded to Xenneth as a mission more than out of her own feelings at the moment. She clings to a logical sense of their meant to be marriage that was placed in her head by Hilda. Amazoness Tribe - (Family) The variation of Amazoness that raised Aiya are the ones who raised her. Because of this, she takes a strong liking to them, as well as borrows a skill from each of them as her feeling of inferiority from when she was young made it so that she trained daily to prove her strength to be on equal footing with them. Biography: Aiya was the name given to her when reaching the Amazoness Tribe’s outskirts. She was left abandoned, or that’s at least what the story was from the Harpies, but in reality, she was lost there during the time where Tomb Keepers that circulated the duty of protecting the ancient grounds of Pharaoh’s treasures were lost by robbers. Those who lost Shadow Games to protect these treasures were banished, so her situation was the same as Xenneth, except none of her family escaped like he did. Her mother and father were clearly already dead by the time she was found by a Nia, the Unfriendly Amazon who had left her with the Amazon Tribe. Of course being the “Unfriendly Amazon” she wanted no association with them, nor with that of the child, so she knew she was best in the hands of the true Amazon Tribe instead of a loner who acted on her own freely. The Amazoness Tribe had saw she was human. She wasn’t fit to survive in the land, just as Hilda wasn’t. They were quick to use their arcane knowledge of magic by an Amazon Spellcaster in order to make conditions survivable for her on the Amazon Tribe grounds as well as anywhere else. Simply, that’s all she had to do was stay within their Tribe zone that was marked by a single Tiki Torch in the center making a good radius for her to stay within. The Amazon Tribe grounds were free for her to explore consisting of exotic plants and a river that flowed all the way to the distant Ocean Zone for Water type monsters, but she didn’t explore those grounds seeing it was outside her zone. It was like she was trapped in her sanctuary even though she was thankful. She took the Amazon’s words of “She wasn’t strong enough” thinking it was because she wasn’t strong enough to survive the realm itself. It was because of that, she set her mind on growing stronger through fighting those of her tribe and learning their arts each and every day until she was finally deemed an “Amazon.” She had declared she was ready to explore the outside zones that day, but the other Amazons had realized this was why she was trying to hard even though they had no intention of making her into an Amazon so soon. They explained to her she couldn’t explore because her body wouldn’t allow it since it was weak to the Shadow Realm, especially at the young age of five, but now that she was twelve and spent years toughening herself, they wanted to test a theory. Leaving the protective area two years after, the pressure of the Shadow Realm seemed much less effect on her. If anything, she didn’t feel the pressure until she herself was exhausted physically. They had built a theory that it was because she spent all the time fighting Shadow Creatures, the Amazoness themselves who counted as such, then she had built an immunity, and if anything, she could withstand the pressure now, and even be completely immune to it within a few years. It had been five years and Aiya herself had become much stronger than before. Learning more of the Amazon’s role in the Shadow Realm, she had learned about dueling entirely as she had saw the Amazoness in card form which was actually a sealed sacred part of the village. Even if this put them in risk by borrowing their spirit to play them in card form, Aiya did exceptionally well doing so. She mastered an Amazon deck as well as the method of combat being both good in dueling and fighting physically. Dueling seemed more effective in protecting the village however seeing as most of the recent invaders of the village seemed to have dueled in means of the invasion meaning that the Amazoness Tribe fighting without using the Magic and Traps of dueling were useless and all hope rested in Aiya’s dueling skills. However, Aiya had her limits to how much she could duel everyday. This was a constant threat to the Amazoness who knew brute strength and magical tactics through their spell caster rather than all out dueling, and soon found the dueling was wasted on them as the true targets of these invaders was the fabled Shadow Manor that had a new owner. The Amazoness thought of this as a joke since it was a feared establishment by Dark Monsters and their leader Zorc, but since his disappearance they learned of the house of Harpies had taken it over instead of staying in the Caged Zone which was the territory of Harpies and their flying fellows. The Amazoness Tribe demanded retribution. Confronting Hilda McClain themselves, the Amazoness had confronted her about the situation. Not only did they seem frustrated, but demanded that Hilda returned to the Bird Cage for the best of both the Amazon and Harpie tribe since they would be considered targets for passing through to get to the Harpies. Hilda had countered explaining there were many of the Harpies, and they seemed to master the skills of dueling because of Hilda’s use of Shadow Magic and her Tomb Keeper abilities, and that left the Amazoness helpless themselves since they were stepping stones to the Shadow Manor. Hilda was running out of options until she noticed Aiya. Not only was her aura that of Shadow Magic, but a Tomb Keeper descent as well. She had taken interest in this as she had saw the girl was human and proposed a unity of the two tribes scheming to take interest in the young girl to bring out her powers to prevent the problem within a few years, but the Amazoness declined because of their pride of leaving their land. They were independent. Hilda had thought fast as suggested another unity, but through marriage. The Amazoness had taken a bit of disgust thinking marriage to a Harpie was taboo. A Harpie and a Amazon being united seemed absurd, until Hilda had explained that it would be between two humans of their tribe rather than creatures. It would be a unity between Earth and Wind representatives making it a legitimate marriage and unity between the two Tribes thus making their lands a combined force and line rather than a single offense in the future. The Amazon Tribe considered the offer since it did not break any absurd taboos, and because of that they allowed it. Aiya who was loyal to the cause had hesitant feelings since she didn’t want to marry since it was taboo of the independent Amazoness, but at the same time she looked forward to it as a young woman because she sees the task of being a wife as another task.
