Biography: Sharod grew up in the countryside just outside Domino City with his parents and siblings. He is the oldest child among his siblings: Chesney (12), Tamina (5), Jamarkis (5), and Carol (2). His father and mother who were both in the military were away a lot so they stayed with their grandparents in the country. Sharod was in class one day when he saw a group of kids playing the card game “Duel Monsters” from the moment he saw how much fun they were having he was hooked.
They day when he got out of school he rushed to the local card shop and bought his first Booster Pack, called Dark Beginning 1. He chose the pack because he felt since it was his first time buying a Booster pack it was only right to choose one with Beginning in the title. Lucky for him, upon opening the pack, had obtained an Ultra Rare card called “Dark Magician”. The store owner told him he was lucky because the Dark Magician was one of the favorite cards of Yugi Muto, the legendary duelist. Sharod was so excited he rushed home to show his family.
When Sharod got home his grandmother gave him a package from his parents. The package was a bunch of Booster packs enough with enough cards to make two or three decks and a letter. The letter said that while they were away his parents had notice how popular the card game was becoming so they sent him some cards not knowing which packs to choose. They had also heard about a school for Duelists and said if Sharod wanted to go he could. Sharod was happy to know that they even sent him a rulebook and an application to Duelist Academy.
