Storm felt Crystal's flustered emotions through the bond that had already began forming with them. "Charlie. Crystal is outside, in my clothes. Go fetch her. Now." His eyes landed heavily on the healer. "And you aren't touching me until they get back."
She narrowed her gaze, her whole form shroaded in a cloak. "That is an idiotic choice. You are bleeding out."
"It is my choice, non-the-less."
Charlie immediately darted out of the room, running down the stairs and leaving the castle, shoving the doors wide open, making everyone outside in the crowds stop in shock. Charlie's eyes immediately locked onto the hat he knew to be Storm's. He rushed down to her. He bowed very quickly and took her hand. "Come with me." His eyes scanned the area, not relaxing even when he saw no higher ranks of the army about. He dragged her inside with him, then shouted at the guards at the door. "Shut the door, idiots!"
The two jumped and, with narrowed eyes, did as told, locking it tightly, knowing the threat.
Charlie led Crystal upstairs and into her room, to the bed Storm lay at, the healer sitting in a chair a little ways away. "Can I start now?" She grumbled.
Blood had already soaked through both towels.

Crystal stared for a moment in shock at the sight before her, then pulled herself back to reality. She pulled the hat off and wiped her forehead with her sleeve. "No, you can not start now, "Crystal stated starkly.
She walked quickly to Storm's side and shook her head. "You always know how to get into trouble don't you dear. I'm sorry I took to so long to get back. Things are weird outside," then with a harsh demanding tone, "Water! fill a bucket and bring it to me."
Charlie, with some surprise to her sudden character change, made for the bathroom.Crystal's eyes narrowed on the healer who started toward Storm again as they waited, a sort of tension fought between with.

Storm grabbed her hand, squeezing hard, mostly from pain, some from irritation. "I didn't start anything this time. The generals. I told you about them. They are beginning to mutinize. They came here and I kept them out of the room. They didn't know you weren't here, though, and I fear they had come to kill you, not for me. I need to get myself into gear, get a set group as the special agents, and get this handled before it gets out of my hands. We need an army for us, not against us."
Charlie instantly returned. "Don't hurt her, my Queen. She is on our side, without a doubt, regardless of her attitude."
"Your attitude is what needs a change." The healer hissed at Charlie, the cloak still shadowing her face.
Storm jerked slightly and bit back a slight cry, a nice bit of blood falling to the floor.

"Fine, let's just ask Storm who he would rather take care of him. I'm sure you are more skilled of a healer than I am," Crystal said with sarcasm, knowing all to well that Storm would trust her over anyone else.
She looked to him for his reaction, but was already preparing herself to use more force than she needed, though her refreshment had lead to some insight on how to bypass the cuff that pained both her and Storm.

He squeezed her hand slightly tighter as the numbing began to fade from the initial shock and the full pain began to set in. "You know my answer. Just, please...be easy." His voice showed his pain and his eyes gave away his fear. He looked up at Crystal, waiting, and wanting to be anywhere but here.

Crystal knew this and waved the healer away, only in a very polite way, not to offend her any further, as well as Charlie, not wanting anyone to see him in such a pained state and to ease his pain as much as possible. She pulled Storm to focus on her and said, "Just focus on me and nothing else."
Her eyes were open and deep as she took the bucket from Charlie and set it down. She put her hand into the water and let the balance flow, pulling the power through her. Pulling her hand up brought a stream of blue water, and she let the glowing power settle on the worse of the two wounds in his stomach. She pulled his blood soaked shirt from him, the soothing power numbing the sting that would have come from peeling that back. Quickly though, the water began to taint pink to red with his blood as it was cleared away and the wound began to heal at a agonizingly slow rate.
She had Charlie to fetch another container, which as soon as he brought it in, she began to replace the tainted water with clean, the color change less every time she did so as the wound healed from the inside all the way through. Though it was healing, the soreness and some pain would remain, the stress on the body to fix itself so fast great. "I know you hate this, but it's the most I can do without pushing you in like before. Pearl is doing well though, as well as Amber. She really is a good person," Crystal said, trying to divert Storm's focus on the pain.
"She even said that she was surprised we aren't married yet. I wasn't expecting her to say anything like that. Took me off guard really."
Crystal smiled though her body had began to heat up, the cuff drawing her strength quickly. "When this is done, You are sleeping, and I am going to sleep next to you. It's been a while since we've done that."

A slight shiver ran through him as her voice broke the silence. "Ya know, nothing good ever comes to me when you say that." His voice shook as he watched her take the bucket from Charlie and he forced himself to lay his back so he couldn't see what she was doing. He swallowed as the pain only increased and her words were all that kept him down here. "I much prefer this to being submerged. At least I can breathe. Slightly." He hissed, the pain taking his breath away. A slight smile touched his lips as she began talking about Pearl and Amber. "That's good to hear. I told you you'd like her. And that is a little bold of her to say. Though at least she's honest. Speaking of our marriage, have you put any more thought into it? We should act upon your idea before time kills it." He then looked about to argue with her plans of sleeping but then caught himself, knowing it was something she wanted and something he needed. A soft smile came, along with his hushed voice. "That sounds like a wonderful idea."

Crystal was slightly embarrassed to say that she knew little to nothing about how to plan this, especially considering she was the one who put it into play in the first place. "I think I know the theme I want for it, and I know exactly who I can get to aid in the creation, though Pearl is going to help me to plan everything as well. I haven't picked a place out yet," She explained as she continued to work with diligence.
The thoughts that came to her mind about returning to her realm and having her friends, whom she hadn't seen since coming to this realm, assist her gave her a feeling of elation, and all of it was to be for her and Storm to wed. With time passing as they talked and she thought more and more about it, the wound was already healed to little more than a bad cut, and soon it was a nonexistent wound. The area around was red and raw, certainly sore and sensitive as new flesh. "Well, that's one down. What about your shoulder dear? I know it's hurt, so don't bother trying to hide it either," She demanded knowing that he would try to play off these things to get out of something he didn't like.

Storm sighed and silently, and very weakly, propped himself up to move the towel and fold it, placing it under his wounded shoulder to help relieve some of the tension on it. He then let himself lay back down. He knew Crystal could have done that but he wanted to test and make sure he was at least able to move, regardless that is pained him. He laid his hand lightly on his stomach where the wound had been, feeling protective of the area that still possessed a dull ache while he simply laid there. "Hopefully my shoulder doesn't take as long." He spoke softly, his eyes only able to stay half-opened.

Crystal pulled away the shirt he wore and saw the wound, happy it was only minor in comparison. "It may seem bad, but this cut isn't too terrible. Maybe after we kill off this mutiny, we should look into getting sharper weapons," She said jokingly, keeping Storm as at ease as possible while she worked again.
By the time his shoulder had healed, less than half the time it took the other, there was hardly any clean water left and the other pail was brimming with bright red liquid. "Well, all better now. Try not to stress those areas too much right now. give them time to break in ya know," She explained like a true nurse while setting about cleaning up.
She poured both buckets into the drain and set them aside, then retrieved the towels and ran water through them until most of it was no longer caked to the white and she could put them in the hamper. Crystal pulled some clean clothes for Storm and set them on the night stand when the book and other writings had been moved to. "There, everything is all good for now," She added with a smile.

Storm kept his eyes closed the whole time, only opening them once she'd finished. "If they'll be better by tomorrow, then there won't be a problem. If not, though, I don't know what to say because I have to take care of this situation and that's gonna include a few more cuts." He grabbed her wrist and gently pulled on her with his good arm. "I think you had me promise for us to sleep together. Can we do that now?" His eyes were struggling to stay open and he suppressed a yawn, showing his exhaustion.

Crystal glanced out the window and saw it had already turned night while they were in there. "Of course. I mean, you can't break a promise after all."
She was gland to see the sheets hadn't been soaked in his blood thanks to Charlie with the towels. she silently thanked him silently, blew the light out, and pulled the cover back. The silk sheets flowed elegantly as she laid down and slipped her legs under, pulling it all over her and Storm too. Crystal wrapped one arm around him and ran her fingers through his hair in blissful comfort. "Goodnight my king."

He bit back the soft purr that threatened to come but his body instantly relaxed as she ran her fingers through his hair. He sighed in relaxation and wrapped his arms around her. He kissed her forehead. "No, I cannot break a promise. Goodnight, my Queen. I love you." He felt his mind drifting off into sleep and didn't fight it.

The morning brought fresh air blowing through the window that had been left open over night. The sound of birds in the sky pierced the silence that had settled through he night, and Crystal stirred to the gentle sound. She opened her eyes and through the blur could make out Storm's face close to hers. She smiled and, with effort not to wake him, pulled free her arms and rubbed her eyes back into focus.
The light had cascaded through open window and shone off the wooden floor, one of few into whole palace, and made the ambient light in the room greater. She could stay like this forever; simply freeze this moment in time, but she knew that the day had to continue, and more trouble would show before anything would be solved.
The night beside him had been peaceful, and she slept better than she had in quite a while. With new energy, she slipped from the bed, pained not to wake Storm who needed the rest more than she did, and began doing stretches just as she had done the day before. The sound of powerful beats resonated faintly from outside, and it reminded her of the wedding, through many different trains of thought. "It's gunna be wonderful," she said quietly to herself.

Storm stirred at her whispered words and his body arched in a stretch. His eyes flew open and showed slits in place of his pupils, making himself resemble a cat. As he quit his full stretch, a soft sigh left from him and his pupils returned to their normal state. He turned on the bed and laid on his stomach, propping his head up with his hands, looking at Crystal with clear eyes. "Very little pain. So, I know what I'm going to do today. And might I ask what your plans will be, your Highness?" He gave a smile, showing his mocking tone.

She continued her stances and stuck her tongue out at Storm for his mocking. "I honestly don't have any set plans for today. The first time since being here that there hasn't been anything that urgently required my attention. It almost seems too good to be true really," Crystal said as she finished up.
She let out a big yawn, stifling it with her hand, and went to find clean clothes. "We should probably change the sheets after yesterday," She added, thinking about the small amount of blood that had made it to the sheets.

Outside, Zakuro had flown through the night and arrived at the castle. This time, however, he was with Lazura. At the entrance gate into the kingdom, he was forced to leave Lazura as he entered, and once inside he made a straight path to the castle with his urgent news.

Storm laughed softly. "Well, I'll let you enjoy your day, then. If you need me, I'll be in the army ranks. This problem has to get solved." He jumped up off the bed, landing on his feet in front of her and pecking her with a kiss. "You know, it wouldn't hurt you to start working on that wedding. You want a wedding, I want something else. The sooner you get your part done, the sooner I can have mine." He kissed her neck, biting it ever so gently, slowly pulling away. He smiled. "Not to be crude or anything." Before she could say anything, though, he kissed her lips. "I love you Crystal." With that, he disappeared from the room.
He walked out the great castle doors, following one of the roads for a time, planning his approach in his mind, lingering around the castle as he did so. I'm not gonna lie, I wish I had someone with me for this. I hate being outnumbered so greatly. Ok, let's see. His eyes shot up from the ground, then narrowed with his famous smirk touching his lips. I've got the perfect plan. If you can't beat them, scare the living shit out of them so they don't even try.

Zakuro walked with a robbed person, a female whose purple tresses flowed out of her hood. He spotted Storm on his path set for the castle. Well, no one better than him to speak with. Zakuro thought as he slowed his pace to be more gentle and less threatening, although he had no bad intention to being with.
He knew Storm would pick him out of the crowd and based on what he had seen thus far, assumed Storm would have words with him after his last, rather destructive, appearance. Rather than provoke Storm, they stepped aside from the main path, but still within ease of sight.

"Geez Storm. Your something else," She said after he'd left.
With a slight smile she touched her lips, reveling in the residual feeling. "Alright. let's get cover some ground today," She said aloud, then left the room, signalling to Charlie to follow her.
"We're going into town today. I have somethings I need to set into motion," She explained vaguely as they set course through to the main gate.
Each day she woke up, there seemed to be more bliss in her life. The thought of having a wedding with the man she loved was even better. She'd also been working on getting past her cuff and gaining some control of her power. She had managed to conjure her spear auroras once already. It was excellent news.

Storm's eyes found Zakuro and his new dragon and they narrowed suspiciously. A warm wind filled the street he walked and he disappeared, the warmth going with him. He reappeared in front of Zakuro, standing with his arms at his sides but with a more relaxed posture at seeing the control Zakuro held while flying. He stood patiently, knowing Zakuro would stop for him.

Charlie nodded. "Yes, ma'am." He followed her as she led, his eyes open for anything that may look even slightly suspicious. He had been training himself and studying more while he was on breaks, Storm's confidence in his raising his will to meet Storm's expectations. Thinking of this brought a grin he could not hide to his face and, so as not to look ridiculous, he explained himself. "You know, when I trained to be a guard, I never saw myself being so favored. I really like it."

Zakuro wasn't a reveler in his heat, but he could stand the presence and spoke in his ever solemn monotone. "I'm better now, so no need for any hostilities. I actually came bearing important information," Zakuro explained.
The girl standing next to him kept her head down and stayed dangerously close by his side. There wasn't any hesitation in her posture though. Only confidence and power.

Crystal knew the feeling of praise and said, "You have improved quite a bit I've noticed. Ya know, when I first met Storm, he hated me. Even tried to kill me many, many times over. Couldn't stand to be near me," She added out of the blue, not mentioning Shadow, who was probably somewhere still searching for Espira's father, and Cisca's mate.
She knew Storm put a lot of trust in Charlie, and that made her feel all the more comfortable with him, though she didn't let her own guard down either. They had soon left the "safety" of the castle walls and were among the town, though it was the more profitable side of town. They were headed to Pearl's house though, which was in the slums.
