He smirked, looking up at her, his body tensing again from its relaxed state. "Time is not on our side most days, it seems, yes." He reached up and pushed her hair behind her ear, his eyes glowing a beautiful crimson as he looked at her, showing his thirst but also something else only she got to see. He put his hands on her waist and he rolled her over, laying her down and sitting on top of her, his hands to either side of her head as he looked down at her. "Ya know, there is one thing mates do that we have not done yet. Not pushing or anything, but I'm always open for it." He bent down and gently kissed her neck, sliding his hands from her shoulders down to her waist. |

Crystal gently, but purposefully grabbed his hands before they could move any further. She eased her way from Storm's mount with some regret and embarrassment while saying, "You know, we've been together for a while, and I agree that is something mates do, but I.." She paused and her cheeks flushed bright red at the thoughts that came up. She was about to make a move to decide her whole future in one phrase. "Storm..." She was looking down at the bed, trying to hide her sudden blush and anxiety. "I love you more than anyone I ever have, and you are someone incredibly special," She said meeting his crimson eyes with her contrasting blue and finished, "I don't want to lose you for anything. I...I think I want to marry you..." |

He let her slip out from beneath him, letting her remove his hands from her calmly, though with disappointment, hidden by his smirk. His smirk immediately fell as she spoke, however, and he straightened up in his sitting position, looking at her. "M-marry? Marriage? A wedding? Heh, look, don't worry about that stuff, ok? There's no need for it. We're fine as we are. So, trying a few things isn't going to hurt anything..." He leaned in and kissed her lips, trailing kisses down her neck and continuing to work his way down, kissing her collarbone.... |

this time, Crystal was a little assertive, holding his head up with both hands and kissing him deeply. "I know it's not something you would ever want...I just thought, maybe I was special. It's the way all Elementals show their eternal vow, and I am still only a woman after all," She said. With some disappointment at the rejection, or maybe fear of devotion, she slipped from the bed and their peace and retreated from the room, her feelings left within the room through her words. She traced the halls, Charlie running after her as she wandered among the castle. |

Storm heaved a deep sigh and closed his eyes for a brief moment before disappearing from the room. He followed their scents, Crystal's and Charlie's, following the weaving trail they left. He finally caught up to Charlie and put a hand on the man's shoulder, putting a finger to his lips to show he wanted silence and indicated for Charlie to leave them. Charlie nodded, slipping back down the hallway as Storm moved on forward. He found Crystal in an empty room decorated for reading. He closed the door behind him, not trying to muffle the sound of the latch. He stayed at the door, though, and made no move to come closer to Crystal. "Crystal...I did not mean to imply that you weren't special to me. My kind, we, we have no use for weddings. The way our bonds develop once we choose a mate, that's more powerful than a ring or a ceremony could ever be. There is no way I could ever leave you, nor want to, because of that bond. Having a big wedding just... has no purpose for us. We still had them, occasionally, but they were purely for show or because the woman had dreams of wanting a wedding like other kinds have and so we honored that. But it meant nothing. Having a wedding isn't going to change how I feel about you or make the bond I feel with you any stronger, because it is already the strongest I've ever had. But... but if you want a wedding..." He sighed. "Then we can have a wedding. Whatever you want it to be like. And I'll follow whatever rules a wedding holds. It'll be perfect, just for you. Ok?" |

"I know it doesn't change anything about our feelings, but it's a tradition of my people, and until that bond was made, we don't believe that anyone is bound to another. I grew up seeing weddings and always thought it was amazing. When I found I was Arcane, I never thought I would find someone to spend my life and love with..." she had taken a seat and didn't look back at Storm as she was speaking, more looking at an elaborate mural on the back wall. "But if you don't want to spend the time on it, we won't. Every culture is different after all, and I know how much you don't like frivolous things." Crystal knew she wanted the wedding, to solidify her bond with Storm. She wouldn't leave him even without a wedding, and now she found herself somewhat regretting suggesting it. She felt a bit of a blur in her mind, something she couldn't understand. After a moment, she realized it wasn't her, she was fading from consciousness just sitting in the chair. The cuff she wore was draining the energy from her body that she had been building up through meditation and she couldn't think clearly enough to understand why. Crystal began to nod off, loosing her grasp and slipping from the chair. She collapsed from the chair to the floor, the sudden hit jostling her somewhat awake. She peered through her half open eyes and say the stone on the cuff lit up. She groaned and submitted. |

Storm was at her side instantly, picking her up and laying her out on the floor, putting her head in his lap. He gently played with her hair, seeing the stone himself. His voice was gentle and easy. "We will have a wedding. I will go find the most beautiful ring and I will propose to you properly and we will create the wedding of your dreams. No harm done. You can have the most gorgeous dress and you can create your dream setting for it. We can even take Narasu and go to wherever you want to have it. We could even go to your home land. You tell me what I can and cannot do. We will have a wedding." He ran his hands over her arms, giving enough pressure to relax the muscles there. "Quit fighting the stone and you'll feel better. Just relax." |

She hadn't realized she was fighting against the restrains. Clearing her mind, Crystal let the thoughts clear away and her tense body relaxed, going limp in Storm's arms. A flush of relief washed over her at the release, somewhat startling. "I'm sorry. I don't know why I was so stemmed," She said coming back. "At least we have plenty of time to plan all this out. For now, I need some rest. It seems I've been doing that a lot recently. More than I'd like," she said forcing herself up, straining to do so still. |

Storm swooped her up in his arms bridal style, not listening to any arguments from her. "I might as well get some practice, hm?" He spoke to make it seem more like she was helping him than he was helping her. He carried her back to her quarters, Charlie waiting for them there with a worried look on his face. A kind smile from Storm seemed to ease his worry a little and Storm walked into the room, lying Crystal in her bed and covering her up. He laid down beside her, brushing her hair with his fingers. "Ya know, the advisor has a room. I wonder where it is. Not to move out or anything, just to see what all is in it." |

Crystal smiled at him as she her hand ruffle through his hair, toying with it as she spoke. "I guess you would wouldn't you. Maybe you could check it out when your not busy," she said, thinking about how they had been busy most of the time since being here. Zakuro found his companion deep within the sanctum's bowls. Three tombs had rested, and he was guided to one, the dragon tomb. He connected the two oval halves of the stone, and set them into the slot etched into the beasts barren skull. for a moment, nothing occurred, but suddenly, the earth began to shake as energy, black and white, pooled through the bones of black, purple, and turquoise. They pulled together to form a solid form, the dragon made entirely of bones. The ceiling shifted as well, panels moving aside to reveal sun light. The beast took this chance and rocketed from the tomb below, seeking to wreak havoc upon everything in a mindless rage. It roared out, a strange thing with only bones, and was off. Zakuro had to follow it, and with a quick burst of energy, launched himself upwards out of the hole and managed to grab hold of the forked tail. |

A soft...purr came from Storm's chest. An annoyed look and blush of embarassment silenced it and he shook his head to make her hand fall from it. He stood up and moved away. He quickly spoke. "Yes, hopefully that's soon." As the palace shook with tremors slightly, Storm's guard rose. "Or not." His mind went immediately to Zakuro. Should I check it out? But I know what it is.... He heard the guards outside making a ruccus as they began to panic and take their positions. |

Crystal tried to sit up, but her own physical exhaustion was too much, so she simply remained still and got everything for Storm. "What was that?" There were many windows in her room, allowing ample sight outside, but from where she lay, there wasn't much to in her line of sight. Zakuro struggle, one hand on the tail, the other holding his wicked scythe, as he tried to pull himself further to safety. He glanced down from the dizzying height and saw they were already wheeling over the walls of the kingdom. The beast let a guttural sound rip from its existence as he dropped lower toward the slums of the city. |

Storm met her gaze, his emabrassment forgotten. "Something I hope wasn't a mistake. I'll be right back." He hissed as he heard the roar and whistled outside the window, standing and balancing on the balcony. The sound of large wing beats could be heard and Storm lept out the window, landing on the large black dragon hovering there as he watched Zakuro hold no control on the dragon he was attempting to mount. "Let's go help his sorry ass." Storm hissed and Narasu dove for the opposing dragon, swiftly making his way right in front of him, forcing the dragon to stop and hover momentarily, giving Zakuro a chance to get into a controlling position on the dragon. "Get on it and get it up! If it hurts anyone in this village, I'll have your head!" Storm kept Narasu in front of the dragon, circling around it so it would stay still enough for Zakuro to get up, keeping himself in front of it so it couldn't escape, snapping to keep its head whirling and confused as long as he could, but not making contact. |

The bones beast was gaining furry, anger seeming to seep from its bones. The beast let a reverberating shriek loose and began charging a lucid purple energy in its mouth. While stationary, Zakuro managed to swing himself upright onto the spiked bones of the creatures spine. With an elegant sweep of his scythe, he let rip a blast of electricity at the base of thee creatures neck. It veered in agony and the purple devastation was released into the sky, the clouds parting around it. The forked tail lashed out at at Zakuro, blind to Narasu and Storm in front of it. Zakuro skipped from the spine down to a spot set for mounting, narrowly avoiding the attack. Another blast of energy was shot off into the sky and Zakuro finally managed to pant himself firmly. Crystal, with struggle, wormed her way onto her belly and moved to see out of the window. She saw the destruction taking place and cursed herself inwardly, unable to assist in anyway through her restraint. "I have to get rid of this thing," She said aloud irritated. |

Storm kept Narasu in his place in front of the creature until Zakuro seemed to be in his proper place. He then ordered Narasu to veer away, not wanting to risk his dragon anymore than need be. Narasu pulled back and up, above the other's height but not above the creature itself. He hissed viciously toward it and Storm's eyes showed he held the same anger for Zakuro. "Get it out of here before it forces my hand." He hissed, half through telepathy and half out loud to assure Zakuro could hear him. He glanced down at the gathering people and his anger only mounted. "I said go!" |

Zakuro, with slight irritation, met Storm's word in his mind easily. "I don't have control of this beast yet. You know how these things are Sharder, or Storm..." The creature attempted to lower itself to the ground to fend off Zakuro, but instead, he began pushing his will and power into the bones, bewilderment and furry filling it at the sudden change. Zakuro's iris's began to shift and turn as he force his will, and black began to etch his skin, spreading at the eyes first. The dragon veered and shook, then shot through the sky, twirling with speed to shake Zakuro off, but he remained firm. As the bond was made, Zakuro could feel the connection slowly forming, whether with or against the beasts will. He could the feel anger, rage, and confusion with the beast. Everything was a fog and he then understood what he was seeing. Delving deeper was the only way to find the true nature, and he forced his was through the haze before he could be tamed by the furry instead. The creature and Zakuro were locked in together, and Zakuro was no longer able to discern the real world from this feeling. The beast landed, after much effort, just outside the walls, it's head visible from the other side of the walls still. It began lashing at Zakuro and charged another purple blast, ready to level everything in it's path. "Who are you," Zakuro called into the darkness. A wraith of a figure came into view, the voice muddy but clearly female. He pushed harder, his skin now etched with streaks of black all to his arms and down his chest, the area just at his eyes filled with the midnight darkness. "Your name? Who are you? It is our fate," He called again in his monotone. This time, the figure came into full flesh for only a moment; the dragon, only not just bone, but the elegance of everything sinew, scale, and color blazing radiance through the bond. "Lazura Atsuken." Just before the energy had lain waste to the walls and buildings just beyond it, Zakuro awoke and said, "Lazura, cease!" Then all was calm, save for the panic within the city limits. The charge was subdued, and the beast fell into submission. Zakuro slid from the bone seat and to the ground, striding triumphantly to stand before Lazura. She bowed her head, and Zakuro set his hand gently to the bone and said, "You are now bound to be Lazura Atsuken, as I am to you." "It is an honor master Zakuro," she replied with her rich, female voice. Crystal witnessed most of the events and scrambled to hold her self on the window ledge. She knew all to well that Storm might try something against Zakuro at this point; the little trust and alliance made already worn thin by this. She, however, had a more level head about it and knew he meant no harm to them and had done his all to prevent what might have been disaster. It took her back to the times she lived in her homelands, and the first time she had to face her companion, Serial, as well as seven others that were summoned as well that day. It was quite eventful, but the area took many years to re-cultivate to flourish after the blaze of fire, the frost of ice, and all other elements tore the land to shreds. |

Storm growled, keeping Narasu hovering in the air, both sets of eyes on those now outside the walls. "Come to me once you learn to ride it." With that, Narasu turned for the castle, but not because Storm was done speaking. Narasu flew up to the balcony by Crystal's room, the one Storm had jumped out of. The stone in the collar around his neck was glowing, though dimly. Narasu stretched out his wing and Storm struggled to even walk its length, so Narasu equaled his dizziness by flexing his wing to keep Storm's off-balance a perfect balance. Once Storm reached the wing's tip, Narasu bent it so Storm could slide off it onto his feet on the floor. Storm's eyes held a pupil but it was foggy and jittery, showing his vision was not able to be focused at all. He held out his hands, palms pointed downward, and attempted to use his forcefield energy to help guide him. That was how he'd always handled sight problems. But he forgot that was the reason he was experiencing this and he fell to his knees with a sharp and bit off cry of pain. He closed his eyes tightly, his anger still making the air warm, still pushing his powers he was allowed. |

Zakuro nodded to Storm, though it wasn't seen. He turned back to Lazura and mounted her again, easier than before, but awkward still as they hand only just bonded. She took to the skies, a strange sight that defied logic, and they flew away, piercing the horizon until they could no longer be seen. Crystal had the same feeling, struggling through her exhaustion. She saw his own pain as hers had been and crouched beside him. There was slight fear deep within her radiant eyes to comfort him, but she had to push through it as always. "I know you don't want to here this, but you have to relax and calm down. don't fight it." She moved closer to him, ignoring the heat that flamed around him, and gently wrapped her arms around him, pulling him to sit down gently. "No one is hurt, and he has left," She said, struggling to think of anything to say, though knowing her touch was the best thing she had to offer him. |

"It's not fucking fair!" He hissed as the burn marks that had been seen around his neck a couple days before returned as the collar burned him. He hissed in pain this time and felt her pull him back against her, rolling him off his knees into a sitting position. With great reluctance, he let himself lean back against her in her arms, keeping his eyes closed and focusing on his breathing. The air began to cool and return to its original temperature and he opened his eyes, now mostly focused, showing his worn-out state. He sighed, not making a move to get up, his body not letting him. "It's not fair." He spoke softly. "These restrictions on me are so high I can barely even make a flame without feeling pain. That's why I couldn't take care of the army issue that night. I can't do anything, I can't be the dominant one when I can't even be "dominant" enough to hold it as my position." |

Crystal winced, the flaring heat baring into her skin until it subsided, leaving her skin sore and pinker than normal. "I know. I have limitless power, but I can't even cool you down," she said, laying her head against his board back. Her arms tightened around him slightly, knowing she was helpless for him. "Wait. I am queen. Couldn't I just order these to be removed? Could they oppose my rule?" She said curious, her other option that of merely researching the bindings in the library to remove them. |
