Aeroth swooped under and caught him. "They care. I won't let them take this alone," Shadow said to no one in particular. "What do you suggest we do then," Aeroth asked. "We follow them. Silently and from a distance. We will watch them and not interfere unless we think its necessary. Just like a Shadow, We'll watch them," He said. Aeroth waited till they were out of site and made for the high skies. They stayed hidden.

Narasu spun, but did not get the wanted reaction from Storm. Smile, child. Ruling shall not be so hard as you think. I will be at your side.
Storm scoffed. "Ya. Not hard at all. That's why everyone is just begging to do the job themselves." Sarcasm thickened his voice.
Narasu looked down. How about a swim?
Storm rolled his eyes. "I've had enough water today, thank you very mu-" Narasu flipped upside and Storm fell from his back. He hadn't enough time to spread his wings before he hit below. "You damnable dragon!" He cursed as he splashed into the lake below them.
Narasu smiled, gliding down. He landed and laughed as Storm swam over to the edge and crawled up the rocky side onto land, coughing and dripping everwhere from his drenched clothes and body. He glared at Narasu. "A lot of good that did you."
Narasu raised his tail and pushed Storm back in. He felt Storm holding onto the tail tip, expecting Narasu to withdraw his tail and, in turn, bringing him back up with it. Narasu kept it under until Storm finally let go to swim up to catch a breath. He didn't bother going for the edge again. "Please, let me out?" He hissed.
Narasu shook his head. Not until you cheer up. He pushed Storm under gently with his tail.
Storm swam back up, coughing. He growled. "Fine!" He snapped, laying on his back in the water. He kept his eyes on Narasu, not wanting to be pushed under off guard and without a breath. He finally relaxed. His voice was calm. "Can we seriously please go now?"
Narasu nodded. See? Even as a king, I will still treat you as a child. He was happy he got his reaction, finally.
Storm smiled, a genuine smile, his eyes showing happiness. "I love you, Narasu."
The huge black dragon dipped his tail back in the water so Storm could grab on and he placed him back on his back. He took to the air once more. And I you, child.
They flew for an ominous looking mountain, the mountain completely black with swirling storms all about it. Narasu stayed lower than normal, to keep safe from the storms.

Aeroth and Shadow lazily followed behind as planned, stay off the radar and out of danger as well. Thats and interesting looking place, Shadow said seeing the mountain far off in the distance. Are you sure of following them, Aeroth questioned. I will not back down, however, i don't wish to put you in danger. Feel free to turn back if needed. Aeroth smiled, taking the comment as a joke. I would never turn down an adventure. If i did, who is to look after you. Shadow smiled and they continued on wards.
Crystal came across the pool of water and dove in happily. She swam through it without a single breath problem. When she emerged from the water, she continued to glide along, not a drop of water anywhere on her.

Storm continued messing with the collar and other restraints, growling. "These are going to drive me mad."
Narasu looked back at him. They will be removed soon.
Storm met the larger's gaze scoffingly. "MIGHT. They MIGHT be removed. And 'soon' was no where in what she said."
Narasu gave a reassuring smile. They will be removed and it will also be very soon. I promise.
Storm looked to the ground, laying against his dragon. "I hope you're right."
They flew into the mountains, landing between two that made Narasu, though larger than many dragons, seem like a tiny speck. Storm dismounted. "Now what? She said you'd know what to do."
Narasu nodded. And I do. Bow, child. He gently pushed Storm to his knees with his tail, and Storm looked at him uncertainly.
The mountains began to tremble.
(Yes, I'm still working on getting ideas so no idk what's going on so yes be patient with me :))

Hmmm. Wonder whats going on, Aeroth said. Im not sure, just stay out of sight from them, Shadow said watching from the distance. He created a small ball of shadow and threw it over himself to shroud his presence, though not Aeroth from from their distance, he just looked like a small bird.
(Its fine, Im just going along with it. I like rping with you so ya know.

Storm's eyes went wide as he watched the mountain they were on begin splitting apart. He was about to jump back, for fear of falling off the great rocks, but Narasu's tail pushed him back down and the dragon gave him a warnig glance. "Stay. You will not fall."
Storm nodded but he still didn't feel very sure in the black dragon's words.
The ground continued breaking apart, the snow-capped mountains never hinting at what lay inside this mountain. As the rocks seperated, the lava within was easily seen, the leaping fires jumping and melting any snow it landed on within seconds. Storm's crimson eyes watched the display, every muscle in his body telling him it was a bad idea to stay, including his mind which feared him taking his place as a king, anyway. Regardless, Narasu's heavy tail would not let him so much as move an inch back. Though, he became quite glad of this as a large flame lept from the volcano-depths and landed not a foot from behind him, springing into an even larger flame, making him flinch, before it extinguished itself.
Rocks began rising from the lava with immense spaces between each one, reaching from one side of the great depth to the other side. Finally, Narasu stood, the flames dancing in his own crimson eyes. He lifted his tail from Storm's back. "Stand, Sharder. Your first task is about to be assigned to you."
Storm stood, glancing at Narasu, swallowing. He thought he knew what this 'task' would be, but he thought he couldn't be right. These rocks were miles apart. It was impossible to go from one to another. But, sure enough, Narasu explained the task. "You must get from here to the other side using only these rocks. They will sink as soon as you touch them, so do not hesitate. Should you fall, I am unable to come and rescue you. The lava will begin to rise as soon as you start. Take too long, and every rock will be covered over with lava so you may not land on them at all. Good luck." As if one cue, the great dragon collasped, his eyes closed. Unconscious.
"But-" The demon swallowed and looked out before him at the swirling liquid fire. This isn't possible.

Shadow watched the proceedings with intense concentration, not missing a single moment. "Aeroth, take us in closer. When he begins to move across there is no telling what might happen. I want to make sure I am right behind him the whole time." Aeroth obeyed without hesitation, gliding down on his silent feathers of black and white. He reached the best point he could still keeping enough room to build all the speed he would need. Shadow watched Narasu collapse and without words, Aeroth knew what he was to do with the massive dragon should he be left behind.
Crystal clung to the shifting rocks for dear life until the shaking rumbling stopped. She then scaled the last few yards up the snowed peak, the frost holding no effect to her, but the wind blowing her short hair this way and that, occasionally obscuring her vision.

The fear he felt made his body tense, but he kept his eyes on his goal, his mind whirling with hows and whens. He forced his earlier thought of it not being possible out of his mind. It would help him none if he was to attempt this. He glanced down at the lava splashing on the rocks and he skipped a breath as he watched it begin inching upwards. He closed his eyes. "Ok. I can do this. What's the worst that could happen? Oh ya. I die." His hissed, opening his eyes again. Curiosity then entered his eyes. He glanced down at his hands and let his fire spark. He then glanced back at the rising lava. My heat is less than that. So, it should... He backed up. "Let's see if I die or not." Ambition flamed in his eyes and he dashed for the edge of the frozen rock. He jumped, knowing there was no possible way to make the mile jump between him and the first rock. Still, he pushed off the edge as hard as he could, flipping his body in mid air, bending beautifully into a backflip, the lava being the ground his hands would normally touch. He put his palms ready as if he really were going to land on simple land and push himself back up. As his hands came dangerously close to the lava, his own fire erupted from them, pushing him back up as if he had done a normal backflip, spinning himself as if he were simply in a gymnasium, forcing his body upright as he landed on his feet on the closest rock. He caught his balance, quickly looking to the next, which seemed to be farther away. He felt the rough wind pushed against him and sighed as it reminded him he couldn't use his wings. He stumbled slightly as his rock began to move, to sink. He looked at the next rock again. Come on, next idea. I can't make that the same way I did here.

"No good. Without his wings I don't think he can make that one," Aeroth said. Shadow sighed. "I really don't want to help him. He needs to do this alone," Shadow said. As the first rock began to shake and collapse, Shadow knew he had to dive in to assist. "You just make sure Narasu remains unharmed." Aeroth nodded and then went into action. He gave one good wing beat upwards then veered downward, letting gravity take over. He shot downwards at the angle that would allow him to safely avoid the lava and give shadow the momentum he would use.
As they propelled forward, tendrils of darkness and shadow element began to form around Shadow, building more and more with their speed. He stood on Aeroth's back as they rocketed down. Just before Aeroth opened his wings to glide upwards to safety, Shadow lept off, becoming a spiral of shroud and speed. Just before the rock gave out, Shadow latched onto Storm. With the arrow of element the skipped to the next rock, and even two more after that until the momentum ran out and they were just a dark faded pair. "Sorry," Shadow instantly said as he released Storm and looked to the next platform. "I know you wouldn't want my help, but it's a little late now."
Crystal gazed in amazement at the chasm of lava that Shadow had rocketed over. "Show off," She said to herself. She moved quickly across to Aeroth, who had landed by Narasu. "So you're following us also. Well, you are the water arcane. with all this snow, you should have no problems," Aeroth said dropping his subtle hint. Crystal ran to the edge and summoned forth all the snow she would need and began to form an icy path that would take her all the way across.

Storm's eyes went wide as he felt someone grab onto him and 'fly' him over to the next couple of rocks. As he was sat down, he spun around to see who it was. He took a deep breath. "Not that I'm already balancing for life, here, but you scared the shit out of me. What are you doing here?!" He never expected to be followed by anyone, let alone the one that seemed to not like him. Before Shadow could answer, the rock shook once more and Storm had to regain his point of balance. "Nevermind, answer me later." He hissed. "We gotta get across here. Now that you're stuck with me." His voice was a growl, but he was hiding how grateful he was to have a companion. He never felt as helpless with a partner as he did on his own. He glanced back and saw Crystal and the icey bridge she was forming. His eyes showed how shocked he was at her power, but he said nothing, still strategizing. "Alright, I think I have an idea. All we need to do is get to the next rock, because this one isn't going to last. By then, though, Crystal should have her bridge done enough for us to get on it and just run to the other side." He turned and faced his goal again. Their goal. His eyes narrowed. "Have you been here long enough to see how I crossed to the first rock?" Getting his answer of a yes, he nodded. "I'm gona do that again. It's not gona get me across completely, though. Exactly when I hit my fire to the lava, I need you to jump and use me to jump off of. The force should get you to the next rock. I'm not gona have enough force to get me there. I'll need you to catch me, alright? Can you do that?" His confident voice seemed to shake slightly as he just realized the trust he was going to put in Shadow.

"Right. I'll use my shadows to boost me in my jump," Shadow replied getting ready. He brushed his hair back and charged his power into his feet. Then with one mighty push , he soared through the air, tendrils of darkness whisping from him. He watched for Storm to land at just the right time to make it all the way there with them both safe.
Crystal continued to ice her bridge out, awkward frost shards sticking out from the sides. A short distance behind her the ice bridge was being liquidated into her hands as she recycled it all to make it the whole distance across, moving as fast as she could to catch the other two before the lava swallowed all of them whole.

Storm took one breath and lept, once again bending himself back and making himself so that he was diving headfirst for the lava. Just as it seemed he would touch it, he let his first burst from his palms. He kept his legs perfectly straight and tense, making them a perfect landing for Shadow to use to propell himself off of. He kept himself hovering inches from the lava as long as he could before the two different heats began to become unbalanced and he felt himself beginning to be pushed away from the lava.

Shadow then used the charged power in his feet as he landed on Storms. He pushed cleanly off, the element pushing him upwards allowing him to land on the platform. The moment he landed, he spun on his heel just in time to see Storm coming up from the depths. He used all the force downward he could get and reached out for Storm as he came up. Shadow grabbed his hand and quickly hauled him up just in time for Crystal to show up. "Come on, we can't wait around here," She said. Shadow jumped on the ice bridge and waited a moment for Storm to follow.

Storm closed his eyes tightly as he saw he wouldn't even be close enough to catch the edge of the rock in his hand. When he felt Shadow's hands grasp his wrists, though, he sighed with utter relief and grabbed onto the edge of the rock as soon as he was close enough, using his claws to help pull him up. He got to his feet at Crystal's voice and he lept to the bridge of ice, ice immediately beginning to melt under him. He growled. I forgot about that. "Let's go!" He hissed as the ever-rising lava began covering some of the rocks and touching the bottom of the icey bridge. He attempted to run, but every step he took only ended with a new hole his foot got caught in. He took a breath and thought, smiling as he opened his eyes. "Fair enough." He jumped and pointed a hand out behind him, letting his fire come from it and pushing him forward. Skating, he caught up to Shadow and Crystal, seeing the lava beginning to splash over the icey bridge. "That looks like fun." He let his fire die out and simply skated, speeding up. He got to the place where the bridge was beginning to melt and break and he jumped, crossing his arms over his chest and going upside down before correcting himself on the other side of the ice. "No, I haven't skated before!" He called back behind him, seeming in new good spirits.

Crystal smiled at him even now in this time of horror and desperation. "As long as you stay close to me, the ice won't melt," She said seeing the other side closing in quickly. As the lava began licking and splashing over the edges, Shadow began worrying. "We won't make it like this. Hold on to me," He said as the lava singed at his feet. He grabbed Crystal and Storm's arm and in an instance they were enveloped in shrouds. They were teleported to the nearby ledge and the darkness faded from around them as they were now in safety. "Sorry for the rough treatment, i had no other options," Shadow said as he looked across the lake of magma.

Storm rolled his shoulder, popping it from Shadow's rough grab. He glanced at Shadow. "You couldn't have done that before?" He hissed. He looked back to the other side of the lava, seeing Narasu still unconscious. Worry slipped into his eyes before the rock began shaking once more. "It's not over...." He whispered.
A voice, deep as a canyon and icy as the winter spoke with no origin. "You were to learn how to solve a problem on your own. Instead, you showed you could not handle such a feat and needed others. How are you to be fit ruling if you can not do it alone? You will be tested once more."
The wind picked up so much that Storm had to struggle to stay on his feet. He blocked his eyes from debris that blowing towards them. An unknown force pushed all three of them from the mountain, sending them falling to the ground hundreds of miles from them. Storm twisted, at first struggling with the wind, then using it to help him get in the right position. He glanced at Shadow. He could fly with his darkness. His eyes went to Crystal. To his knowledge, she could not fly.
He dove, heading right for Crystal as the ground began flying up towards them. Inches from her, he let his wings rip from his back, opening wide for the wind to jerk him backwards and he slipped his arms under Crystal's, pulling her back with him. He once again struggled to gain control. He was able to halfway do so. He shouted to Shadow. "There's a cluster of trees on the next mountain! Can you get to it?! It should help block the wind!"

"I couldn't do anything until we were close enough. My teleport only goes so far," Shadow explained. He saw the worry in Stomr's eyes and said, "Aeroth will watch after him should anything go amiss."Before he could get a response the voice roared out and the force blew Them off their feet. Shadow let the force take him up and over the cliff, using the push to his advantage. He wrapped himself in swirls of darkness, using all the strength he could without over exerting himself. The gale of the fall was almost deafening, but he caught what Storm had said. Shadow nodded, letting the wisps reach out to give a strategic turn to let him move towards the retreat.
Crystal began to fall, the breath taken from her in this unexpected attack. She struggled to get any kind of bearing but to no avail when she felt Storm's safety and then the sudden jerk as their decent was slowed slightly and became more controlled. Her icy eyes looked up to him for a moment and then looked back down saying, "I'll try to lighten the impact. She began to pull water from the air, forming a large bubble two yards in diameter. She then moved up up under them as they moved toward the ground. Once they landed, the water formed a cushion that cupped them and took a majority of the blow before freezing to a solid, letting them get their footing back.

Storm let her go as soon as they landed, letting his wings retreat back into him, not wanting the rough winds to catch them and pull him from the only safety he could see for miles. He glanced at Crystal and Shadow. "Are you all okay?"
The booming voice came back. "It seems you are unable to do anything without help." At this comment, a soft growl came from the defensive Storm. "This can be your downfall. This can be your advantage. A king should always have others to count on. But, when no one is around to help you, should you fail? Let us find out."
With the cold altitudes, Storm's breath could already be seen. This time, though, when he breathed out, his breath was the warm color of fire as his fire left him. It only took a couple of breaths until his breath was once again the common white seen when one is cold. Goosebumps rose on his skin and a shiver passed down his spine. Confused, he looked at his hands. Attempting to spark a small flame. He could not. Dread washed over him and a cough escaped him. "This isn't good." He could barely force the wrods from his lips as a cough came again. He wrapped his arms over himself, rubbing his upper arms, attempting to warm himself using friction. Judging by the way his body was beginning to constantly shiver showed it wasn't working.

Between Shadow's clothes and the use of his element, He was able to maintain a regular temperature that kept him safe from the frigid air, and Crystal had no issue even in her clothes thanks to her element. She looked to Storm with concern, but hesitated to help for fear that he might have to endure even worse that this. Then she turned to the sky and yelled out, "But he won't be alone, because he has us by his side. I don't intend on going anywhere." As she spoke the air around her began to frost over and the ground began growing ice shards as the intensity grew. She said no more, but the temperature continued to decrease and he eyes went from a frosty blue to a deep pooling blue like a never ending ocean.

Storm sat down by the frozen rock of the mountain, drawing his legs up close to him, shovering worse than ever, his arms wrapped around himself. "C-Crystal, p-please, s-stop." His shivers began getting violent as he no longer held his power over fire to keep him warm. He closed his eyes tightly as another shiver racked through his body.
There was no response from the booming voice, only the wind picking up as the temperatures decreased.
Storm would have been cold in a hot summer because he was so used to being hotter thanks to his fire. But with his fire's sudden disappearance and in such cold weather, there was no hope for him to be able to go on much longer. "P-please, make me wa-arm." His teeth were uncontrollably chattering.
