It should be clear to all that the former nation known as Somalia is a failed state. Warlords rule the country, factions fight over every piece of ground, innocent civilians are killed by all sides, pirates threaten international shipping, to sum it up the country is in absolute anarchy. The situation is unacceptable, decisive action is needed. The UN sleeps and puts on a deaf ear, the African Union has tried their best but could not succeed, as such The Kingdom Saudi Arabia calls for a Multi-National Islamic Coalition Force to restore order to the country. We must act for the best interest of the Islamic world and the Somali people, Somaliland and Puntland have control of there areas, however in the south nether the hardline Islamists nor the Transitional Federal Government have the ability to control the country, we also doubt their abilities to lead, as such we must not take sides in the conflict, instead we must act for the greater good of the people. We must start the country over, the conflict in Somalia has gone on for long enough. Saudi Arabia will commit forces to the Coalition Force, who else will join us? |

The Islamic republic of Iran backs saudi arabia's sentiments, we will happily commit forces to restore the peace in Somalia and urge all other Islamic nations to send what troops they can. |

Saudi Arabia commends Iran's courage and urges other nations to follow their dedication for stability. We will provide funding and transportations for nations if it is necessary for them. OOC: Oh the irony. Also can i just say who sent troops and who didnt? It would be a lot easier than waiting for NPC's Edited by Saudi Arabia, Jun 5 2010, 12:05 AM.

OOC:Providing they are realistic numbers, remember to consider the size of the country, their goverment type and the state its in. The Islamic Republic of Iran will happily send troops and vechicles, we may also be able to commit a small portion of our Navy aviation wing if needed. OOC:Long name for Iran FTW |

OOC: Those are pretty big numbers...Is this for the entire nation? When the US went into the capital they only had a division and some rangers. |
