OOC: Well I hope that wasn't sarcastic... But that won't be all. I don't expect the Shi Lang to be in service for very long, only until the new aircraft carrier buildup is complete. I am hoping to have 8 Operational Aircraft Carriers, When the eight new one comes online the Shi Lang will be put up for sale. |

OOC: this is of course speculation, They have yet to even be announced and knowing the Chinese they may never be built... But you keep spending money, Ill just own more and more of your country :)... I doubt even a republican President/House/Senate will approve of another arms race, while the economy just collapsed. China on the other hand doesn't have to worry as much about that. |

OOC: When Regan was president, China didn't own a god chunk of america. Anyway... I cant wait to see what America is going to due with 6 Russian Carriers and 8 Chinese ones... granted the Chinese carriers will not be the bohemouths America has or the close to behemeths russia will have.

OOC: One problem with you thinking you own me - no other currency is as strong as mine, especially with the PIGS countries holding down the Euro. Hence, you CAN'T ditch my dollars, or your ability to manipulate your currency stops, and with that your ability to keep your exports moving and pay for your nice little buildup. With Russia's six and your eight, I'll have to start building up again, and I already have a big lead on the both of you. And my economy didn't collapse. Nobody's did. Took a few punches, yes. But I have every intention of fixing that problem, thank you. Once I'm out of Afghanistan and Iraq (late 2012) and my industrial growth plans start coming to fruition (next couple years), then you'll see America flexing muscles again. I don't see force as jackbooted idiots like Bush did, and I have every intention of building a better country overall, which incidentally also happens to help build my military forces. You can be assured that you and Moscow will NEVER have military supremacy over me. Try if you like, but you got a huge gap to make up and many more problems than me..... |

OOC: Calm down a bit geeze... No there isn't a person on this planet who could think that China or Russia or anyone else for that matter could become larger military powers than the United States...However we dont need to be, you however need the military industrial complex and we are only feeding it. While its true I cannot directly attack the US dollar, Its not as simple as you put it. For any consolation I dont see America as my the biggest threat to me, My economy is just as dependent on yours as yours is to mine. |
