Just the other day, Terri realized she needed a few items for the trip. A phone interview with the Winnipeg Free Press had been scheduled so Terri asked if she could do the interview via her cell phone while she finished her shopping at a Nashville-area Macy’s. Well, Nashville being the small town that it is, Terri of course runs into a longtime friend of hers. Terri asks the journalist if she can hold for a moment so she can say hello to her friend and when she returns to the phone conversation, the journalist thought Terri was kidding her about who she was chatting with until the friend leaned into Terri’s phone and said, “Hey, this is Reba McEntire.” Terri laughed and said, “I thought the journalist was gonna faint. And you know it’s Reba McEntire because only Reba McEntire can say it like that.” After a good laugh, Terri headed downstairs to finish her shopping when she nearly tripped over fellow Canadian singer Michelle Wright who was also doing some last- minute shopping for the show. So for fans wanting to spot their favorite Country stars when they visit Nashville, they need to add Macy’s department store to their list. Look for Terri Clark Monday night on the CCMAs and new music from Terri will available in the next few months. |
