1. To play, you must have a nation on one of the planet's continents and supply the requested information. The Role Play takes place on planet Enora, so no real life nations exists, allowing us full control on how to develop the world. 2. Time is as follows: 1 Real Life Day = 1 Role Play Month; 14 Days = 1 Role Play Year. 3. If you want any technology that is not present in Real Life as of 2010, you must prove it is possible within the next 15 years. Links to websites that support your technology are required. A minimum of one, but the more the merrier. Once you have supplied the cites, all members of the region of Corleone may come and say their piece about it. However, it is ultimately up to the Role Play Caporegime to allow it or not. He/She must take into consideration the links and founded opinions of the other members. His decision may be overturned if the mass majority of the Role Players believe the technology is possible, or likewise, not. Technology that is not possible in the next 15 years in banned. 4. Stay in tune with the nation you chose to start with. If you start your nation as a third-world nation, a second-world nation, or simply not technologically advanced, you must build it up to become a technological power. Rome wasn't built in a day; you can't go from 1900 tech to 2025 tech in a single RP year. It must be built up over the years. 5. Your Nation's population and GDP is defined as 5% of what NSEconomy states of your nation. IE: If the NS nation's population is 500 million, it's RP population will be 25 million. If it's GDP is 30 trillion it's RP GDP will be 1.5 trillion. As such, all budgets will be 5% of what NSEconomy states of them. 6. Any form of combining nations is not allowed without the consent of all involved. If nation X is federated with nation Y, but the player in charge of X leaves Corleone, the federation will be disbanded by the RP Caporeigme due to it being unfair as player Y gets benefits without just cause. Combining the budgets of multiple nations that are not federated or not even in the game is not allowed. 7. A player may only have 1 nation at all times. RPing the destruction of that nation is allowed if the player wants to start anew. No other player may take control of that nation. What it did in the world will still remain, but it will be a reminiscence of the past. 8. The RP Caporegime's word is final unless the mass majority, 75% up, of the players believe otherwise. If the opinions of the members are not clear, the RP Caporegime is to call a vote on the subject at hand. 9. Complete and utter nonsense may be ignored by a player, but if the RP Caporegime deems that the actions the player is ignoring are possible, then the player will have no choice but to be influenced/affected by it. 10. Justifications for wars are required. A nation cannot simple declare war on another without an In Character cause. Attacking upon a nation, be it political, economical, or simple militaristic, are just causes for war. If the war is unprovoked, both players must have agreed to it Out of Character-ly. 11. If a nation is defeated in war, a maximum of 30% of it's land may be annexed by the victors. Full occupation of a nation may only last 1 RP years, with further occupation being up to the player being occupied. 12. Passive trade takes places between all nations unless stated otherwise. 13. A nation must be capable of supporting it's armed forces. Under 1% of the population is accepted as the percent that a nation's active military may be shaped as. If a nation wishes to have more than 1% in it's military, it must RP as if massive economic instability is taking place internally. 14. Remember to be realistic. RPing minor unrealistic actions is allowed to make the story more interesting; but RPing major unrealistic actions and events is not allowed. 15. Have fun and play fair. 16. Don't god-mod and listen to your fellow players when they're trying to help you. Taking control of another player's nation and/or forces is considered god-mod. War Related Rules 17. It will take 2 Real Life months of well Role Played nuclear research to gain nuclear capabilities. You do not need to know exactly how to create nuclear weapons/reactors, you must just RP as if you do. It will take 1 Real Life month of good Role Playing to gain space technology. 18. You cannot RP their actions nor their casualties. The only exceptions will be if the player who's forces are being controlled allows it. If you want to help them, give them OOC tips and suggestions. 19. New nations have 1 month of newbie protection from war unless they are the aggressors. If they attempt to expand, they are also open to attack. 20. As stated earlier, max front line combat troops may not be higher than 1% of the nation's population unless the player is willing to accept economic punishment. This RP is largely influenced by Caprecia's Role Play System. Some of their ideas included into this Role Play are their organization, rules, and how they construct their maps. |

Further Standards: - The first 6 nations to join have open placement in terms of technology, up to 2010. - You may only expand once a month. The month starting from when your last expansion finished. - Each plot is approximately 345,325 km^2 in size. - For every 100 million RP population you have you may claim 1 plot. (Only applies if you are just joining and have an old NS nation). - When you try to expand, you will always be faced with resistance by the inhabitants of that plot. The inhabitants are to be RPed by another member of the forums. The level, and form, of the resistance depends on how you attempted to expand. |

Changes to the rules can be made by a simple majority vote in the Cartography/OOC Forum. We may start RPing as soon as a few people sign up to join on one of the maps. It will begin with a conference. This was approved by the Don. |

To start: 1. Sign up with a nation on one of the maps Here 2. Request a Database Here 3. Post Here With the requested information. 3. Think about your nation a bit before filling the database with information on it. 4. Wait until we get a few more people to be able to start the opening conference. |

http://nstracker.org/ is a far better source than NSEconomy. Which is slow, and sometimes dies for indefinite periods of time. NStracker is quick, and is never down. |

Yea I know, but the information it gives is sometimes different than NSEconomy's... I guess that if all of you are reading this and notice this, we can switch to NSTracker now before NSE gets integrated... If you read this and approve of NST, post or I'll eat you! |

If we went by NST I'd have a defense budget of $415,341,448,562.88 and a GDP or $2,742,560,060,296.00 and thats after taking 5% out. |
