Speculative biology is simultaneously a science and form of art in which one speculates on the possibilities of life and evolution. What could the world look like if dinosaurs had never gone extinct? What could alien lifeforms look like? What kinds of plants and animals might exist in the far future? These questions and more are tackled by speculative biologists, and the Speculative Evolution welcomes all relevant ideas, inquiries, and world-building projects alike. With a member base comprising users from across the world, our community is the largest and longest-running place of gathering for speculative biologists on the web.

Dinosaurs eat man, woman inherits the Earth.

Eh, William Bell is more self-preserving, as you said. I don't think he's evil persay. Unless he contacted the other Fringe Division.

Well, those "worm" larvae in "Unleashed" weren't worms persay. They were a cross between multiple creatures. The "Unleashed" creature used genes from a wasp to insert its larvae into Charlie and there were plenty of arachnid traits in the "Unleashed" creature (which was just BADASS by the way).

Anyway, I assume the oher Fringe Division deals with a multitude of Fringe cases. It never stated specifically, but Agent Lee's diagnosis of James Heath's carcinomas (which is correct BTW) leads me to believe that the alt Fringe Division deals with other cases.

Buy the first season DVD lemming. The "Pilot" episode alone is worth it. As is "The Road Not Taken". It has a beast "Star Trek" reference that I assume was put in to promote the newest "Star Trek" movie.

Anyway, for those of you who have DVR (myself included) watch the episode again and pause when you get to a picture of a map of the United States. It's different.

Olivia's power seems to be some sort of energy manipulation or psychokinesis.

I think Burn Victim survived because A all the damage was on the outside of his body and B advanced medical tech.

How different is the other map?

I didn't catch the worm thing, nice work Canis.

By the way, FOX picked up "Fringe" for a third season.

TV really sucks nowadays. The only shows from FOX I'll be watching this fall are "Glee," "Fringe" and "Human Target." (By the way, check out "Human Target." It's like watching a Hollywood summer blockbuster a week!)

Did they buy another season of Human Target? Last I heard there was talk of cancelling it.

Too bad, I love that show. Some of the only good writing/acting on show nowadays. That is, until Futurama comes back (next month!!!!)

"Human Target" has been picked up for a second season and will premiere this Fall on Fridays at 8:00.

"Fringe" will also premiere in the Fall on its regular time slot; Thursdays at 9:00.

Can't wait.

The map ain't too different. The Dakotas are joined together. As are Oklahoma and Kansas. Texas is split into two states. I couldn't see California, but some of my friends claim that part of California is an island, presumably from large earthquakes.

I just caught the season finale.

It was very good but I guessed the twist ending pretty early on.

I love catching glimpses of the alternate universe. It's so much fun seeing the subtle differences. Like the Red Arrow and Red Lantern instead of Green Arrow and Green Lantern in the comic book on the wall.

Yeah, it's amazing.

Did anyone else catch that the quarintine devices they were using were the same as the "amber" material used by terrorists in the Season 1 episode "The Ghost Network".

I guessed the twist after Bell woke up from, supposedly, being shot.

Though Season 3 does promise to be a good one.

I caught the season 3 premiere tonight.

Poor Olivia. I hope she gets her true memories back. Anna Torv is such a talented actress. I wonder if the kindly cab driver will return.
