hum, after spending some time studying fish I have postulated some kind of idea for the evolution of apods, tripods and hexapods based on beings very similar to terrestrial fish. starting from the beginning, I want to point out that these concepts are just ideas, just ignore factors such as competition between these things (so far). Just imagine that these creatures exist on a very large planet (but with the gravity of the earth) and with ultra-earth-like characteristics (atmosphere, formation ...) as an alternative version of the earth. - tetrapods are exactly the same as the earth, they evolved from a fish that had 4 bony fins, and everyone knows this, so I will not go into them. - Hexapods (not the insects) that evolved from an acanthodii-style fish that developed from their thorns, 3 pairs of "bony" fins, and then evolved exactly as the tetrapods.theoretically they are as diversified as the tetrapods and are everywhere, the largest land animals are hexapods. - tripods that have evolved from something like a Bothriolepis (that sounds familiar), that have developed 3 members but most of their descendants have evolved into something like a t-rex or to an aquatic being like a seal, most tripods that really move with the 3 legs are a large group of ruminants that live in groups and are found worldwide (something like deer, cows ...) - Apods, who are animals that have simply developed a skeleton without developing any limbs. They evolved from a being very similar to a hagfish. (difference between a snake and an apod is because the snakes had ancestors who had limbs). most move as snakes, but they occupy various ninchos on the planet, from predators, herbivores, animals that live in forests and things like whales and sharks. some developed mustaches that after a long time became a pair of tentacles used to manipulate leaves (like an elephant) in theory they are vertebrate worms. What do you think?
