Speculative biology is simultaneously a science and form of art in which one speculates on the possibilities of life and evolution. What could the world look like if dinosaurs had never gone extinct? What could alien lifeforms look like? What kinds of plants and animals might exist in the far future? These questions and more are tackled by speculative biologists, and the Speculative Evolution welcomes all relevant ideas, inquiries, and world-building projects alike. With a member base comprising users from across the world, our community is the largest and longest-running place of gathering for speculative biologists on the web.

Many people should know about All Tomorrow's, a unpublished book by C.M. Kosemen. It is about the future of humanity for the next billion years after the invasion of an alien race known as the "Qu".

So what is opinion on it? I personally find it even more freaky than other post human works, but is a interesting read. My personal favourite species are the Tool-Breeders and the Hedonists.
Let us dance together.

Pretty creepy stuff. I haven't read it, but seems interesting.

All Tomorrows is generally well-known and more-or-less well-regarded around here. The time jumps and the fact that it relies so heavily on some of the most extreme genetic modification I've seen in fiction means it's definitely more science fiction than spec, but that doesn't mean it's not a fun read, with fascinating concepts and gorgeously disturbing artwork.
Dumb Quotes

Coming Soon/To be Rebooted:

How To Hunt Gods - Everything you need to know about Gods and the art of God-killing.

Intrazoology - The world of semi-corporeal lifeforms. A world you walk through every day, without even knowing it.

The Dungeonverse - Magical creatures forced to adapt in huge, underground caverns, while surface-dwelling humans go dungeoneering for treasure.

Crossover - A mish-mash of worlds, with Earth smack in the middle of the chaos. What could go wrong?

no worries

Don't we already have multiple topics on this book?

In the end, the best advice I could give you would be to do your project in a way that feels natural to you, rather than trying to imitate some geek with a laptop in Colorado.

No.The human species are implausible, but it was fun to read. It's like Star Trek combined with many other scifi things. The Qu reminded me of Combine and the Borgs that destroy and conquer other races for many things, and also to modify them for their own purposes. Also how a war could take millions of years?Wouldn't money and resources deplete?

spacefarers have to deal with relativistic effects. the question is if it was millions of years for the combatants, or the outside universe.
