Climate of ARTH-6810

It really just occurred to me that I gave no mention to the climate or seasons in my project. I just covered it's geography, and basic biomes. The white is snow/tundra, the tan is deserts, and the green forests. Many creatures life cycles happen with the seasons, especially insects.

Yet, I'm really bad with climate and seasons. Hell, I never even mentioned what kind of star my planet orbits, or any moons it has. How much of a problem is this, and how can I deal with it?

ARTH-6810: A world without vertebrates (It's ded, but you can still read I guess)

Potential ideas-
Swamp world: A world covered in lakes, with the largest being caspian sized.
Nematozoic: After a mass extinction of ultimate proportions, a single species of nematode is the only surviving animal.
Tri-devonian: A devonian like ecosystem with holocene species on three different continents.

This really could have just worked as another post to your ARTH-6810 topic. There was no need to make a whole new topic just for climate based stuff.

On what star your world orbits you could just make it simple and have it be the same type of star as our own sun and have your world orbit its star at about the same distance Earth orbits the sun. Unless you want to explore how a different star type and/or orbital distance would effect your world its probably better to just keep it easy and have it be similar to Earth in those aspects.
On how many moons and how big said moons are that will probably be a more important issue, as this would effect tides on your world. As for what to do here, I guess it depends on how you want the tides on ARTH-6810 to be like. On what moon numbers/sizes would best fit your purposes, I'm afraid I'm not too sure as I'm not all that great with maths or orbital mechanics. There's probably other forum members who could help you better in those areas though.

Oh. I made a new topic because it felt right. But now that I think about it, it would better as you said.

I guess, I'll just have it orbit a middle aged yellow star. Bus there's also seasonal changes in various regions. Like some areas are periodically snowy, then sunny, etc. Keeping track of all these seasonal changes in climate is something I'm really bad at yet is really important.
