Speculative biology is simultaneously a science and form of art in which one speculates on the possibilities of life and evolution. What could the world look like if dinosaurs had never gone extinct? What could alien lifeforms look like? What kinds of plants and animals might exist in the far future? These questions and more are tackled by speculative biologists, and the Speculative Evolution welcomes all relevant ideas, inquiries, and world-building projects alike. With a member base comprising users from across the world, our community is the largest and longest-running place of gathering for speculative biologists on the web.

I thank beetle's Sylvaria tree should be included.
Non Enim Cadunt!

No idea how to actually hold down a project.

I don't actually know how big the Tree should be. All I know is that it is mountain-sized.

As I said before, refine details and give a little more quality on your concepts.
It is well that your concepts are plausible enough but you still have a long way to go and improve, at least in my opinion.
If I must say, you are being a little vague here. Care to be more specific?

Also, I am no newbie. I have been on here for a while now. I have even read this forum a lot before I actually joined. I'v learned even more since then. I know very well the rules of speculative evolution. Creativity + plausibility. Sorry if I seemed a little rude.
Look, notice how a lot of the projects used here are literally the very best the forum has to offer? It's not that your project is bad, it's that it isn't the very best. I'm just saying.
Then why doesn't he add his own project? Also, there are some on there that aren't the "very best", like tardigradus (i think my project actually on par with tardigradus, please correct me if i am wrong)
Projects
Punga: A terraformed world with no vertebrates
Last one crawling: The last arthropod

ARTH-6810: A world without vertebrates (It's ded, but you can still read I guess)

Potential ideas-
Swamp world: A world covered in lakes, with the largest being caspian sized.
Nematozoic: After a mass extinction of ultimate proportions, a single species of nematode is the only surviving animal.
Tri-devonian: A devonian like ecosystem with holocene species on three different continents.

I doubt, Tardigradus describes in an extended form the different descendants of the tardigrade, the niches that each one cover, the species and groups, the regions, is not just random species described in every update.

Holocene park: Welcome to the biggest adventure of the last 215 million years, where the age of mammals comes to life again!
Cambrian mars: An interesting experiment on an unprecedented scale, the life of a particular and important period in the history of our planet, the cambric life, has been transported to a terraformed and habitable mars in an alternative past.

Question: What about Post Earth? It's quite new, but it's already definitely up there. And for that matter, what about Lemuria?

Well, I certainly appreciate the mention for something like this, and while I think Post Earth is certainly in the good range, I feel like there are more deserving projects.

EDIT: Oh. I was ninja-ed

Was not expecting that....

It would be cool to see that size scale as an animation sorta like this.
https://youtu.be/rRiecAmGWHU
If only someone could animate it...

Not saying it HAS to happen, but it would be cool.

Not gonna lie - I'm gonna miss the whole 'giant lineup of EVERYTHING' that the first sizechart was. Still, splitting the size charts by organism is gonna open up a whole new world of possibilities - maybe even bringing in some smaller, but still fantastic, creatures as well.

The main chart's not going anyway as far as I can see, Dt's just adding more charts. Besides, if you want to keep a copy in case it does get deleted, then just save the image (but don't distribute it without permission of course)

You do realise how much work to animate everything from still images is? Splitting them into movable parts, realistic movements and all.

True, but that would make it all the more impressive.
