Speculative biology is simultaneously a science and form of art in which one speculates on the possibilities of life and evolution. What could the world look like if dinosaurs had never gone extinct? What could alien lifeforms look like? What kinds of plants and animals might exist in the far future? These questions and more are tackled by speculative biologists, and the Speculative Evolution welcomes all relevant ideas, inquiries, and world-building projects alike. With a member base comprising users from across the world, our community is the largest and longest-running place of gathering for speculative biologists on the web.

Also, will there be anything from A Scientific Fantasy?

Possible.

What about those Discovery Channel mockmentaries about dragons?

Probably not, although I liked the documentary I feel that they never addressed the issue of speculative dragons well, besides that as I said several times, I'm trying to evade as much as possible non-related forum and DA works as soft speculative evolution in general.

"Active" projects

The Future is Far
Welcome to the next chapters of the evolution of life on earth, travel the across the earth on a journey that goes beyond the limits, a billion years of future history in the making.

The SE giants project
Wonder what is the big of the big on speculative evolution? no problem, here is the answer

Coming one day
Age of Mankind
Humanity fate and its possible finals.

The Long Cosmic Journey
The history outside our world.

The alternative paths
The multiverse, the final frontier...

Holocene park: Welcome to the biggest adventure of the last 215 million years, where the age of mammals comes to life again!
Cambrian mars: An interesting experiment on an unprecedented scale, the life of a particular and important period in the history of our planet, the cambric life, has been transported to a terraformed and habitable mars in an alternative past.
Two different paths, two different worlds, but same life and same weirdness.

Snaiad: created by C. M. Kosemen (Nemo Ramjet) explores the various and unusual organisms that inhabit this world, twice the size of our planet, and which was colonized by humans centuries into the future. The main predominant organisms are a kind of tetrapod-like “vertebrates” that are characterized by the two head like structures which the superior one holds the reproductive organs inside a beak with the eyes, and below there is the “mouth”.

Still, you need to refine some things, but you will realize it eventually.

On the other hand, I have started to work on the next updates for new organisms to add, in this case, are not going to be only speculative creatures but real life creatures.

At first, it was assumed that this first chart would contain these on the left side as a way of comparing the larger known species with the largest spec forms, however, as a result, the image become too heavy, in addition to the images contrast too much with those I did.

Posted Image
The total length of the image was approximately 6800x17000, being the specimens added Edmontosaurus, Triceratops, Tyrannosaurus rex, Lion Mane jellyfish, Sequoias, Barosaurus, Jakelopterus, Spinosaurus, Paraceratherium, Palaeoloxodon namadicus, African bush elephan, Blue whale, Quetzalcoatlus,

Red made by Paleop
Tyrannosaurus by JonaGold2000
Sequoias extracted from google
The rest made by me.

It is probable that the sequoias and part of the animals that I have made can return even if only to compare few organism in others charts. But at the end, like the Spec organisms I did, I would make the real ones.
Just the WIP

Also, it is probable that I will begin to make small comparison charts to congregate groups of animals descending of the same species or group, only to expose the radically different one that has come to diverge in each organism in each universe.

Example:

Tyrannosaurs

What do i need to refine?
Projects
Punga: A terraformed world with no vertebrates
Last one crawling: The last arthropod

ARTH-6810: A world without vertebrates (It's ded, but you can still read I guess)

Potential ideas-
Swamp world: A world covered in lakes, with the largest being caspian sized.
Nematozoic: After a mass extinction of ultimate proportions, a single species of nematode is the only surviving animal.
Tri-devonian: A devonian like ecosystem with holocene species on three different continents.

As I said before, refine details and give a little more quality on your concepts.
It is well that your concepts are plausible enough but you still have a long way to go and improve, at least in my opinion.

If I must say, you are being a little vague here. Care to be more specific?

Also, I am no newbie. I have been on here for a while now. I have even read this forum a lot before I actually joined. I'v learned even more since then. I know very well the rules of speculative evolution. Creativity + plausibility. Sorry if I seemed a little rude.

IIGS: There are reasons why DT hasn't included you, I'm sure. If you have an issue, you can bring it to DT in a Private Message, but being new or not has nothing to do with your project not being featured. As a part of newness, though, you have only been on the forum for three months, and there are projects more established than yours not featured.
I do art sometimes.

"if you want green eat a salad"

Projects:
Amammalia: A strange place where mammals didn't make it and the land is, once again, dominated by archosaurs.

Oceanus: An endless sea dotted with islands, reefs, and black holes. Literally endless, literal black holes.

That's fair, I geuss. I just wonder what criteria he's basing this off of.

By the way, whats the giant, freaky, alien looking, floating thing on the far right.

As a suggestion, some frogs from the 'Ultrazoic' would also be nice to see.

Look, notice how a lot of the projects used here are literally the very best the forum has to offer? It's not that your project is bad, it's that it isn't the very best. I'm just saying.
