| Speculative biology is simultaneously a science and form of art in which one speculates on the possibilities of life and evolution. What could the world look like if dinosaurs had never gone extinct? What could alien lifeforms look like? What kinds of plants and animals might exist in the far future? These questions and more are tackled by speculative biologists, and the Speculative Evolution welcomes all relevant ideas, inquiries, and world-building projects alike. With a member base comprising users from across the world, our community is the largest and longest-running place of gathering for speculative biologists on the web. While unregistered users are able to browse the forum on a basic level, registering an account provides additional forum access not visible to guests as well as the ability to join in discussions and contribute yourself! Humanity has reached the peak of their technological advancement within the known universe. They have devided into several different evolutionary paths as a result of self modification and the need to meet living requirements on planets in other systems. In depth descriptions of a wide range of topics will be released in due time. However, this project will focus on how humanity has populated most of the accessible universe with life, inspired, and generally derived, from Earth. This is assuming NO other ENTIRELY alien beings are alive during humanities reign. While I find this to be highly unlikely myself, this is done for the simplicity of this projects purpose, and so my head doesn't hurt when I try to imagine new ideas and all of their implications. 😆 feel free to feed me your own thoughts whenever necessary! This is just a personal project for my own interest, and hopefully somebody else's interest also.🚀 |

Great! First I want to discuss the role human descendants play in this future universe , and take a look at the family tree of post-homo sapien sapien hominids that live in different environments and civilizations across the universe. The descendants of mankind are essentially the only known sentient race with advanced consciousness, and have conquered seemingly primeval concepts such as intergalactic travel. Full fledged nanotechnology was first utilized worldwide during the Great Exodus of Earth, and since then countless generations of technological advancement has rendered nanobots and the like to be all but medieval. As a result, other areas such has biotechnology, chemistry and physics have been mastered. I will post an example of the "Human" family tree next, followed by a description of each race included. P.S. I am open to suggestions (obviously not every suggestion) and inputs on the concepts and ideas in this project. I wouldn't be posting any of this if I didn't care about your input in the first place 😊 thanks again! |
