| Speculative biology is simultaneously a science and form of art in which one speculates on the possibilities of life and evolution. What could the world look like if dinosaurs had never gone extinct? What could alien lifeforms look like? What kinds of plants and animals might exist in the far future? These questions and more are tackled by speculative biologists, and the Speculative Evolution welcomes all relevant ideas, inquiries, and world-building projects alike. With a member base comprising users from across the world, our community is the largest and longest-running place of gathering for speculative biologists on the web. While unregistered users are able to browse the forum on a basic level, registering an account provides additional forum access not visible to guests as well as the ability to join in discussions and contribute yourself! I just realized this has some crurotarsians in it, like in TA. Whoops. Soz JF Aetosauria - Elephant/Pig like forms Phytosauria - Crocodiles Prolacertiformes - Small scavengers, except for Shavopteryx descendants, and isolated large creatures Rauisuchia - Big carnivores, and some gallimimid like forms Rhynchosauria - Hippo like creatures Trilophosauria - Ungulate like life forms Younginiformes - Lizards Avicephala - Bird like, chameleon like in some forms Thalattosauria - Sea-lizards Sphenosuchia - Most non volant arboreal carnivores I'll get some work started on this soon. If anyoone would like to help, just ask. Website link: http://different-world.weebly.com/index.html Edited by SIngemeister, Sep 10 2010, 07:45 AM.

Well, they didn't bother translating the name from welsh. Technically Peru means "What you want is over there, so keep going." Any suggestions? |

No, I'll continue it. Perhap, just perhaps, somebody could give me a little boost of confidence in it, by posting here when I update? Not just John I mean. It could be a 'Nice, I like that', a 'That's good, but I think you should do X', or a @How about a Y?' I don't mind. Seriously. |

I like your project. It's very well thought out, is imaginative yet makes sense. Can you draw? Or do you know someone who can? Pictures would help spark interest in Different World. |

I had a look at your website again, I like the Skarabs. Although you should fix up your sites navigation. |

How do you mean? Trust me, just use the links on the page, don't bother with the fold out menu. It's a nightmare when trying to navigate the site. And Y Ddraig Goch, yes, I can draw, I just haven't got any pictures up yet. I might put some up soon. |

Ok, they look just like Hypsilophodonts. Are they herbivorous or omnivorous? |

Is Hypsilophodonts still a group? Most either look similar to those, or look more like JP gallimimids, or Therizinosaur rip-offs. Most are herbivrous, though there are a couple - Mapinguaris and Bandersnatches who are omnivores. |
