What's important is that we do try, trex841. If all we get from it is views, that's alright. And if we don't get that, at least we got to make something, tame our desires, our imagination and give it form, bring out our greatest efforts and see it come to life, whatever kind of life it leads.

I agree with Zerraspace, ideally the process of making the project is its own reward. We're only human, though, and it can be hard to stay motivated without responses or feedback. This site has a vast audience of guests (of which I'm sure quite a few are trawlers, but nevertheless) so any project you post will be impactful.

Time flows like a river. Which is to say, downhill. We can tell this because everything is going downhill rapidly. It would seem prudent to be somewhere else when we reach the sea.

This site has a vast audience of guests (of which I'm sure quite a few are trawlers, but nevertheless) so any project you post will be impactful. If you're spending any time here, even if you don't have a project of your own, you could be critiquing those of others.

I always liked Wodnoria, which is really detailed. I admittedly don't comment on it though, and I have become more intermittent in my reading. But I recommend to others to read it.

HangingThief's The Fire Forest is another one of my favorite future evolution projects, although it seems to have died off.
gestaltist's Scosya - the Tilted World was one of only two projects that managed to get me into exobiology, and I certainly recommend it.
Okay, what am I doing wrong with the URLs? They URLs themselves are working fine for me, why won't it link them properly?

Even though he is our creator, that does not afford him the right to take our lives on a whim. But that is the thinking of a homs. He is a god. Such morals cannot apply to gods. So you think we should just shut up and die?! If that is the fate decided by a god. You are mistaken if you think we will simply accept such a fate and wait to die. We'll never stop fighting. Not till the end. To Zanza, the outcome is the same. Thus your logic is flawed.

But Souls are delicious. They're like bacon - they taste good on anything. But if you eat them, you completely remove them from existence! They can't move on or... or be reincarnated! Huh. I never really gave it much thought. Besides, what do you mean by reincarnation anyway? You know, being reborn as someone or something else. Which means different body, different memories, different experiences, yes? So isn't being reborn as "something else" the same as being "removed from existence"? I... I... eating souls isn't right! That depends on your definition of "right". All living things survive by eating other living things. So what? You're a god. You should be above all that! Gods are above living things, which doesn't necessarily mean we care about them.

Natural History of Horus, by Dromaeosaurus. The discovery and exploration of an alien world during the 1860's. Gives the whole thing a magnificent feel I can't get enough of. Cool, added to my sig collection. Mentioning of it, it has all the well developed xeno projects I'm aware of. Now I know that Furaha is famous, but still I feel it doesn't get nearly as enough attention as it deserves.

I know of quite a few projects that this site would love that sadly are only on Deviantart. I think a lot of people are chased off by the, shall I say 'professional' attitude of many people here. It's a shame, because most people here are incredibly helpful and constructive, even if at first they may just seem like they're bashing your project.
I know that's a bit of a tangent but I figured I'd say it here since it's like, half applicable.
Edit: Also, I'm not sure if it could count as underapreciated since I think it was pinned at some point, but Skatha and then the new Bex world are pretty interesting. I wish that the creator would come back to this site.

Ddraig Goch has done a few xenobiology works that look good, but I need to look through it properly.
Zealandia is on the same boat. For some reason I've yet to read it in full.

I always seemed to have a hard time going through everything when I try to catch up there. I have no idea why, it seems perfectly fine. I just kept getting distracted.

That's basically me with every large project. I missed a bit of Settler's of The Deep and now I'm way behind on that, and have still to make any significant progress on The Library, Ilion, Zealandia, Lemuria (I did follow a decent chunk of that one), or Sheatheria.

The smell of rotting flesh really kills my appetite, surprising, but the visual appearance of corpses makes me hungry. Is that weird?

I mean, let us say I'm a genderfluid blurflux demi-romantic woman who is sexually attracted to men, but only if they are Melanesian and have a voice like that of Nicholas Cage. Okay, so what?

We all must finish chapters of our lives to go on to the next. Sometime this means leaving behind versions of ourselves that don't want to die.

Funny, isn't it, that our world needs Clark Kent a lot more than Superman.
