Speculative biology is simultaneously a science and form of art in which one speculates on the possibilities of life and evolution. What could the world look like if dinosaurs had never gone extinct? What could alien lifeforms look like? What kinds of plants and animals might exist in the far future? These questions and more are tackled by speculative biologists, and the Speculative Evolution welcomes all relevant ideas, inquiries, and world-building projects alike. With a member base comprising users from across the world, our community is the largest and longest-running place of gathering for speculative biologists on the web.

Especially interested in multiplayer ones. It'd be neat to play with some fellow speccers.
Sorry if this has been posted before, by the way.

I enjoy all of my games on PC (aside from BF3), such as Insurgency, Stellaris, and Elite Dangerous(which I haven't actually played since the Engineers update, because I can't get it...Stuck on mac for now).

Coming Soon/To be Rebooted:

How To Hunt Gods - Everything you need to know about Gods and the art of God-killing.

Intrazoology - The world of semi-corporeal lifeforms. A world you walk through every day, without even knowing it.

The Dungeonverse - Magical creatures forced to adapt in huge, underground caverns, while surface-dwelling humans go dungeoneering for treasure.

Crossover - A mish-mash of worlds, with Earth smack in the middle of the chaos. What could go wrong?

no worries

Final SE Lifelist standings

BREAKING NEWS
We interrupt your regular programming to bring you this cutting edge report.
ATTENDANCE DROPS DRASTICALLY ON SE SERVER
This past Monday on Discord, famous server Speculative Evolution took a hit in the attendance office when it's offline member list suddenly reappeared. Mods scrambled to rectify the situation, but unfortunately there was little anyone could do. Server member Ivan was asked what he thought of the situation. "So long as Flisch, lord of machines and scion of Urborg lives, all will be well". SE, (in)famous for it's eccentric userbase, has recently been spiraling downward, and now we have hard conformation of the decline. Moderator "High Lord" Icthyander states "There is nothing to be concerned about, Discord is merely changing its UI again", but members are beginning to suspect the honesty of their staff.
Stay tuned, we'll be back with more at 11.

Loads of Total War and Mount and Blade, lots of GTA Online. I really enjoy the Telltale/Life is Strange style games, they are a cool hybrid between RPGs and visual novels. Hope that genre expands.

I personally find Telltale games to be more akin to point and click adventures from the 90's. My two personal favorites are The Wolf Among Us and Tales from the Borderlands. Also, if you're looking for more games in the genre, then I highly recommend checking out Until Dawn. It's a more horror oriented variant on the theme, with excellent graphics, a compelling narrative, and a legitimately threatening atmosphere permeating the entire experience.

In the same vein, I would also recommend checking out one of David Cage's games. I personally don't like his writing style, but I can understand the appeal and the stories he tells are legitimately interesting, if unintentionally silly at times.

Peggle, Smash 4, and Mario Kart DS are the three I've been playing the most lastly. There are others too, and a lot more I want to try. I've been expanding my range lately thanks to Steam. Thinking of trading in the Wii for a Wii U as well.

At the present time, concepts within are inconsistent and ever shifting.

I'm not a fan of horror myself, and I've watched the Roosterteeth guys do a Let's Play of Until Dawn.

Tales from the Borderlands and The Wolf Among Us are probably my favourites too, though I really enjoyed Game of Thrones.

I concur. I tend to only play SciFi horror games because I can reason that away, while supernatural horror taps into the Haitian in me and causes me to act super superstitious.

In general though, I play action games with light RPG elements like the Souls games, Mass Effect, Fallout New Vegas, and a few others. I also play more fully actiony games like Just Cause 2 when I want to zone out for a while. The super story driven games like Tell Tale are definitely fun, but I usually just end up watching a playthrough of it on Youtube, which I really shouldn't do.

Either than that, I want to try out the Witcher 3 at some point. Probably will get to that after I fully drain Dark Souls 3.
