Speculative biology is simultaneously a science and form of art in which one speculates on the possibilities of life and evolution. What could the world look like if dinosaurs had never gone extinct? What could alien lifeforms look like? What kinds of plants and animals might exist in the far future? These questions and more are tackled by speculative biologists, and the Speculative Evolution welcomes all relevant ideas, inquiries, and world-building projects alike. With a member base comprising users from across the world, our community is the largest and longest-running place of gathering for speculative biologists on the web.

FSG (Future Survival Game) was originally going to be planned as a RP surrounding the Late Pleistocene. Now I've changed it to a future Ice Age, so there can be Spec Evo. and adventure applied to it, offering a open world survival. This is set in a FUTURE Ice Age, so expect new creatures.

Before I post the CCT (Character Creation Thread) and the BI (Background Information) threads, here are a few rules:

The Rules of FSG

1. Be respectful. Don't start arguments and be mean to others, that kind of thing.

2. Don't Godmode: You can't kill another character/ interact with another one unless stated otherwise.

3. Nothing's Perfect: You can't have your character be the perfect person, as everyone has their strengths and weaknesses!

4. Originality: Whilst not required, you should try to avoid making you're character look exactly like your self, make them different. (A extension from rule 3)

5. Images of your character: Whilst not required, you can create a image of your character if you want, as it would help others visualize them. Otherwise, make a in depth description of your characters appearance.

This is a thread for discussing what could be added/ changed for the world of the FSG.

Other FSG threads:

If this is like the SSU3, it is probably a coincidence, just a heads up.

You might want to ask if this can be placed into a sub-forum of the actual spec portion of the site. A similar game called RECON is located in the Xenobiology section.

Okay. Is there anyone who can? Oh, and there will be separate issues, so I thought it could go to General Discussion/ Cafe Cosmique.

The parts of the SSU are only called 'Issues' because it's based on Comic books, where the story is told over a series of issues.

For any other RP, it'd just be 'parts'.

As for who to ask, try asking an admin.
