Speculative biology is simultaneously a science and form of art in which one speculates on the possibilities of life and evolution. What could the world look like if dinosaurs had never gone extinct? What could alien lifeforms look like? What kinds of plants and animals might exist in the far future? These questions and more are tackled by speculative biologists, and the Speculative Evolution welcomes all relevant ideas, inquiries, and world-building projects alike. With a member base comprising users from across the world, our community is the largest and longest-running place of gathering for speculative biologists on the web.

The history of Argrantia

Argrantia Is a land of history, and such rich history it has indeed. 900,000 years ago, the demons ravaged the land of Argrantia, and the gods had to level it down to rubble to save future life. The gods rebuilt Argrantia and re-created all life living their. All of Argrantia and the rest of the world is run by different types of magic, the basic type of magic is called Quicksilver, also known as the basic building block of all arcane arts. Quicksilver makes up all magic, and all magic can be manipulated and controlled easily by almost any living creature.
Types of magic

Mana
Alchemy
Elementium
Thaum
Quicksilver
Natura
Necromancy
Dark Energy

The gods created all modern life on Argrantia, but some animals have been corrupted by Dark Energy and Thaum, which has led to the creation of creatures called monsters. Monsters are, although not inherently evil, are typically more aggressive than regular animals. Monsters are usually naturally created but using certaint types of magic, can be made artificially.

The land of Argrantia is coverd in grassy plains, forests, deserts, and many other amazing biomes. civilizations here are mostly either in the Stone Age, Bronze Age, or in medieval times. But one city (known as Sylphia) is thousand of years in the future (technology wise). But despite this city being the most advanced, it has the smallest range, only 4,000 square miles.

Dungeons
Their are hundreds of dungeons in Argrantia. If you don't know what a dungeon is, dungeons are large lairs and buildings that house unique species of monsters. Each dungeon has a large and powerful monster at its end called a "Boss". each boss is unique with each having a different set of abilities and weaknesses. Dungeon monsters are usually created by the Boss controlling the dungeon. Dungeons are usually riddled with traps that many perish in. It is said that some dungeons are home to the gods that rebuilt Argrantia after the demons were supposedly destroyed.

Okay, how's this?

Slinkers
No one knows what slinkers look like. They've found footprints and dung, but no one has documented an image of what they truly look like. People report seeing flashes of white, and slinkers eat livestock and humans. They live in desolate forests in the out lands.

Also Tet, could I possibly draw for you?

Warg

The warg is the second largest living canine besides the werewolves and verevolves. They have similar proportions to werewolves and are thought to be related to them. They can even momentarily stand on two legs, like a bear, but only do this when they howl.

They live in packs of around five or less, and don't tolerate other wargs or canids. They have a bear like body and legs with a wolf head and tail. One of them alone is capable of taking down prey like elk or cattle, in packs they can even take down a mammoth.

They're about as smart as a border collie and can actually be tamed under the right conditions. They can crossbreed with most canids excluding foxes and a few others, they can also breed with werewolves, though the last one is controversial.

They are extremely aggressive in the wild towards most sapients and other creatures. Sometimes they, along with werewolves sand a few different canids are classified as monsters. They're endangered in the wild though that is only on the mainland. On other continents they could have a thriving population.
