Speculative biology is simultaneously a science and form of art in which one speculates on the possibilities of life and evolution. What could the world look like if dinosaurs had never gone extinct? What could alien lifeforms look like? What kinds of plants and animals might exist in the far future? These questions and more are tackled by speculative biologists, and the Speculative Evolution welcomes all relevant ideas, inquiries, and world-building projects alike. With a member base comprising users from across the world, our community is the largest and longest-running place of gathering for speculative biologists on the web.

Question in topic title.

Definitely embellish stories to make them more entertaining for their listening audience, would be one. Especially in he case of numbers ('There was like, a hundred Red Back Spiders', for instance.)

Also definitely size others up, mentally, physically. Just randoms you encounter.
How they'd compete with you in a fight, for instance.

I didn't understand...
“There's a tree," Starflight said, jumping to his feet. "In the forest."
"No way," Glory said. "A tree in the forest?”

"Ce corps qui s'appelait et qui s'appelle encore le saint empire romain n'était en aucune manière ni saint, ni romain, ni empire." -Voltaire

"One of those capsules hit a wing." Victor said. "Had to do an emergency landing." He pointed to a crumpled plane a couple dozen meters behind him and shrugged. "Not my most elegant landing."

"I must ask you to leave now." -Everyone (not realy though) in Flisch's story "Spec Evo: Void Entry"

I didn't understand...
the question is rather puzzling....surely if we answer the question, then we are admitting to doing/having done it -- but because the question excludes things that are admitted to having been done, our answer is moot at best.

Murdering people and hiding the bodies on my grandparents farm, usually by feeding them to the pigs, which are slaughtered a month later and eaten, with any other remains being cremated and spread in a local lake.

I mean everyone does that.
