Speculative biology is simultaneously a science and form of art in which one speculates on the possibilities of life and evolution. What could the world look like if dinosaurs had never gone extinct? What could alien lifeforms look like? What kinds of plants and animals might exist in the far future? These questions and more are tackled by speculative biologists, and the Speculative Evolution welcomes all relevant ideas, inquiries, and world-building projects alike. With a member base comprising users from across the world, our community is the largest and longest-running place of gathering for speculative biologists on the web.

Ok, that's really interesting. Still, the same existential questions apply. Is the difference between Heaven, Earth and Hell just one of perception?

There are a couple of notorious local personalities in my area who I have had the occasional chat with in the past. Won't name them though.

I know quite a lot of odd-to-downright-bizarre people, some of them are my good friends, but I am not going to discuss them here because they have some obvious problems and mental instability so it seems inappropriate. Raises the bar for oddness though.

Aside from that, I had two regulars at a shop I worked at years ago. They would try to buy the jewellery I was wearing (even when it was cheap tacky stuff from places like Claire's) and would ramble on at me about the Illuminati and killer GMOs and Nibbaru and various other conspiracy theories. This would happen 5-4 times a month, until I left that job.

I find people who don't like animals to be really odd but must remind myself that that isn't in itself considered odd by society. Only if it is vitriolic or a phobia.

A BANDit that denies the existence of Ground Sloths and refers to them as Giant Sasquatch or Gorillas. And some other things weird things that your average BANANA or BANDit does. The person also hates birds for some reason and constantly compares them to chickens in a bad way. Ech.

Also I have a friend who starts some funny conversations with me. Especially the Megalodon one, boy was that a hilarious day.

I almost got stabbed with a compass and stabbed with my own pencils by a person who I suspect is bipolar or has some kind of mood disorder or something. This person confuses me a bit.

I know another person who acts crazy and very inappropiately at the wrong time. Screams randomly, cries randomly, say the nuttiest bulshit at random times and is generally very unpredicatable at some times or predictable at others.

Lets see if I remember and currently know some people with odd behaviours...

I've met some pretty stupid people, but nothing really weird. That means I'm that weird person people know*.

My friends are often a bit dirty minded... luckily my closest friends aren't. Seriously, half of the people in my class are dirty minded...

By which you mean they are quite naturally exploring (verbally) their emerging sexualities, which is nothing to be ashamed of, so long as it isn't done in a way that is harmful to other people or getting in the way of actual class time.

It's quite hard to objectively place the boundary between mental instability and normal weirdness, so my psychologist friends tell me. Still, we should avoid ridiculing being with actual conditions, I agree.

Did they seem even remotely like competent conspiracy theorists? I love conspiracy theories: they're often the most compelling form of fantasy. But unfortunately, those that peddle them often haven't thought them through very well.

As, in people that don't like any animals, or being that have a dislike of particular animals? Or both?

Sadly, not competent. Rather dull and repetitive too. I attempted properly discussion but it never went anywhere because they had no in depth knowledge of any of the theories.

I mean people who don't like any animals or are indifferent to all of them. That is just a step too far for me. I don't trust them.

I was with a guy last year at school. He was odd (for me and the rest of the school). He was extremely fascist, racist, colonialist and extremely loved Mario.

The guy loves to draw maps of the Roman Empire (with some modifications) and always told me about mini planets in Mario Galaxy. He completely spoiled me the story of Pokemon X and Y.

He was also like "WE SHOULD RECONQUER THE OLD COLONIES THAT WE LOST IN AFRICAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!! THE WORLD WOULD BE BETTEEEEEEERRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!" (for France). Meaning this:

Colonial Africa

In physical appearance... oh my. He had even more acne than I have right now, all over his face. He was quite strong but was bony (yuck) and it seems that he rarely cuts his nails, meaning that they are very long.

Another odd guy, also last year at school, was what I would call "the Destructor". If he touches one object, then you should probably say good bye to this object. He broke many thing in my and my friends house. He was screamish and a little gay.And had a weird view of the world.
“There's a tree," Starflight said, jumping to his feet. "In the forest."
"No way," Glory said. "A tree in the forest?”

"Ce corps qui s'appelait et qui s'appelle encore le saint empire romain n'était en aucune manière ni saint, ni romain, ni empire." -Voltaire

"So if you wake up in the morning and it's a particularly beautiful day you'll know we made it."
-Capa

"One of those capsules hit a wing." Victor said. "Had to do an emergency landing." He pointed to a crumpled plane a couple dozen meters behind him and shrugged. "Not my most elegant landing."
-me in Flisch's story "Spec Evo: Void Entry" (Act 3)

"but by rule 34 of the multiverse, if it exists, there’s a world full of it." -Tet

"I must ask you to leave now." -Everyone (not realy though) in Flisch's story "Spec Evo: Void Entry"

As in what kind of weird?

The strangest person I have ever encountered would be myself, or one of my friends.
