Speculative biology is simultaneously a science and form of art in which one speculates on the possibilities of life and evolution. What could the world look like if dinosaurs had never gone extinct? What could alien lifeforms look like? What kinds of plants and animals might exist in the far future? These questions and more are tackled by speculative biologists, and the Speculative Evolution welcomes all relevant ideas, inquiries, and world-building projects alike. With a member base comprising users from across the world, our community is the largest and longest-running place of gathering for speculative biologists on the web.

Its the year 2016 (O_O) and the Earth is very different than before. 2 days ago, an alien species known as the Krakapouf used super advanced technologies and rotated the Earth and gave it new poles. They did this for an experiment, but then it was cancelled and they came back to their home planet. The Earth is now tilted. North pole is now Borneo island and the south... the antipod (in this case somewhere in Brazil).

Made this map using a software of some sort. You can download it here: http://www.petermoor.nl/overig/worldmap/
“There's a tree," Starflight said, jumping to his feet. "In the forest."
"No way," Glory said. "A tree in the forest?”

"One of those capsules hit a wing." Victor said. "Had to do an emergency landing." He pointed to a crumpled plane a couple dozen meters behind him and shrugged. "Not my most elegant landing."
