Speculative biology is simultaneously a science and form of art in which one speculates on the possibilities of life and evolution. What could the world look like if dinosaurs had never gone extinct? What could alien lifeforms look like? What kinds of plants and animals might exist in the far future? These questions and more are tackled by speculative biologists, and the Speculative Evolution welcomes all relevant ideas, inquiries, and world-building projects alike. With a member base comprising users from across the world, our community is the largest and longest-running place of gathering for speculative biologists on the web.

Thumbled across this forum:

http://welcome-to-concave-earth-forum.70389.x6.nabble.com/The-Concave-Earth-You-Live-Inside-f1.html

And when I see this I am like: "What the ?"
Pseudoscience seems to be the fuel of the forum but there are still a small little, even tiny drop of science. but it's still some nonsense. And its full of ads.

But seriously, why would the Earth be Concave? I think its just made for rejecting the all mighty and real Heliocentric model.

What do you think guys?
“There's a tree," Starflight said, jumping to his feet. "In the forest."
"No way," Glory said. "A tree in the forest?”

The whole "Concave Earth" concept has been around since at least as early as 1869, when an American physician called Cyrus Reed Teed had a religious vision that led to him founding Koreshanity- a religion teaching that we live inside a cocave Earth.
That there are people on the internet believing in this nonsense is not really much of a surprise. No matter how strange or absurd an idea may be, you'll have a good chance of finding someone on the internet who's into it.

That reminds me of the religious cosmology of the Araweté people of Brazil.

EDIT: Dude, why do people like to deny Heliocentrism and the sphericity of the Earth? First the Flat Earth conspiracy people, and now this.

So, this basically takes the Hollow Earth theory to the next level, and denies that the world has an outside....

I think, if i remembered, that Cyrus Teed claims himself as a reincrantaion of Jesus. The Nazis approved to this concave theroy and even tried to look at Britain by tilting upward a telescope to the UK's direction. But today Cyrus (well he is dead :/ ) has a "descendant". Meet Steven Joseph Christ aka Lord Steven Christ. He claims himself as GOD and posts too much video. He tried to recreate the Rectiliniator experiment that Cyrus did to confirm that the Earth is concave.

Here's his YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/TheFoxStevie

One thing I like about his videos is that it gives me ASMR for no reasons (some of them of course).
Like this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UQzRq9YPqo0

I mean come on... "WELCOME TO THE REAL WORLD"... what is this... crap. If you post a comment on his video that disaprooves what he says, he will answer "NSA, put [Name] on the FEMA detention list", like this one: "NSA add [censored name for security reasons] to the FEMA Detention List." or "You have been cursed [...]". HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Okay! Then let the NSA find me and curse me then! This answer proves that he doesn't know how to defend his theory.

Here are some quotes of his:

Spoiler: click to toggle

It seems that he doesn't explain sometimes, here's a dialogue between a guy and him:

"dude, i'm busy, seek and find.

+Lord Steven Christ So you can't explain it.

so you can't look at the hundreds of animation i show the sun being attached?

+Lord Steven Christ Nope. I can't. You making animations isn't explaining it. I mean EXPLAIN it.

+ why [censored name for security reasons] don't you explain something to me. what's your shoe size? jumpsuit?

+Lord Steven Christ Because I never claimed that I could explain something to someone. Why would I explain something to you?"

Here are the videos where I found those quotes:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9vgzpE2_HUE

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vSb4XfgUEv8

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UQzRq9YPqo0

I censored the names for security reasons. But they are shown in the original comments so I think what I did was useless :/ But oh well... Saying to others that the target person will be added to the FEMA detention list and cursed is a more adult way to say "Mommy! He is mean to me :( ".

Can't believe that a supposed man that could be mature and intelectual ended up like this :(

I'll stop here now. Peace!

What's with people and wanting to ruin space? Why? Space is neato, dude, why you gotta tell me some crap about Earth being encased in glass from the Flood or something? Don't put limitations on space, man, I love me some space.

There maybe scared off the universe being too big for them :/

But yeah... why?

On the other hand, this is a neat idea for an altuni project - imagine the aerial migrations. And if the gravity is weaker near the center, you could have those air whales that never land and cast shadow over vast swaths of land.

You can't. The Thermosphere (above the glass sky at 100km) in the Concave Earth theory is about 2000 C . So I presume its EXTREMELY hot at the center.

But yeah it could be an interesting alt universe project. Maybe bird flight would be easier because of the upward curvature. But I think that life would be at least almost similar to life on a convex Earth.

So I don't think life can live near the center (where an octahedron lies, dubbed as the "Paradise").
