Speculative biology is simultaneously a science and form of art in which one speculates on the possibilities of life and evolution. What could the world look like if dinosaurs had never gone extinct? What could alien lifeforms look like? What kinds of plants and animals might exist in the far future? These questions and more are tackled by speculative biologists, and the Speculative Evolution welcomes all relevant ideas, inquiries, and world-building projects alike. With a member base comprising users from across the world, our community is the largest and longest-running place of gathering for speculative biologists on the web.

Over the vast eons, we have seen the rise and fall of man's ancient relatives, herds of Mammoths and Mastodons stomping the plains. However, despite their appearance on many books, TVs, comics and more, they seem to be lacking one things: "Realism" (As in the covering of feathers, and walking like Chickens part of it, instead of the "Movie Monster" portrait they have been given over the past few years) Now, however, people are starting to catch up, with more and more comics and books showing them with feathers. However, these newer generation of books seem to go to the most famous ones. How about the odd Daemonosaurus, who had the bone crunching bite before T-Rex had it? How about the Nasutoceratops, who had wide, bull like horns? What about the Cycnorhamphus, who has the long, scythe shaped bill similar to a Flamingo's? Or, what of the new information on old favorites, like the fact that T-Rex had the most smarts out of any theropod of its size, or the fact that Dinosaurs in general hold their hands like they were going to clap. Many aspects of these had been shown, and will be shown, in Prehistorica: The Dinosaurs.

You could just do this:

But sure, what ever floats your boat. Do you have a scanner or do you prefer using the program you're using?

I'm making some basic lineart of what your comic is.

You know when you press ADD REPLY and there is a bunch of buttons up there? There is one called Image and you open your picture in a new tab and copy and paste it into the litle box asking for URL of your image.

I made first panel. Working on secnd panel. When I'm done with ALL the panels, I'll shade them and detail them. I reccomend GIMP if you want better outcomes than with paint. GIMP is pretty much like a *simple and free photoshop. Use references for the animals if you want them to be more... Lifelike? For example, I want to draw a pteranodon. But I don't know how to draw one decently, I'll use a reference to help me draw the animal more correctly. I'll look at a skeletal or someones recontruction and then add my details and colors to my drawing. Just don't go on Pterosaur Heresies or Reptile Evolution or any other site known for bad reconstructions and/or misinformation AND that has a bad reputation.

*I use the term "simple" lightly.

You're Welcome my friend.

Daemanosaurus is about the same size of Effigia. Just saying.

That one was just a young Effigia, by the way.
