Speculative biology is simultaneously a science and form of art in which one speculates on the possibilities of life and evolution. What could the world look like if dinosaurs had never gone extinct? What could alien lifeforms look like? What kinds of plants and animals might exist in the far future? These questions and more are tackled by speculative biologists, and the Speculative Evolution welcomes all relevant ideas, inquiries, and world-building projects alike. With a member base comprising users from across the world, our community is the largest and longest-running place of gathering for speculative biologists on the web.

So I had a question and basically decided the "Introduction" thread was the best place for it, but that is a bit of a weird place, and most people wouldn't think to look at that thread. So thinking further into this, I realized there isn't a topic for questions about the project that don't have a place. So think QTDNTOT, but for Bygone World.

I'll start off by reiterating my question about whether or not Ahi has cloud forests, as the map appears to show such.

Sorry if I'm an idiot and we totally have somewhere for this stuff somewhere in this subforum.

I don't even really like this song that much but the title is pretty relatable sometimes, I guess.

Yes, Ahi does appear to have cloud forest surrounding a small mountain/mountain range. As Trollman designed the map, you would have to PM him for conformation but I think you'll be fine if you just go with it having cloud forest.

I should be ok to go ahead with it. Hell, even if it wasn't intended to have them, I don't think it'd be much of a problem given that nobody seems to have done anything with the place.

Is it ok if I set the largest creature on Ahi at a little under 3 meters long, with no predators over, say, two? Just making sure nobody wants to do anything there.

I should point this out now, but, users who are not moderators or admin can post topics in the Approved Species subforum.

The following accepted Accepted Species don’t have the [Fauna] tag: Horshoe Turtles, Teluese Garuda/Noisemaker, Pied Ondierta, Griffbyirds, The Rocky Lumpymander, Black Ondierta, and Toadlings.

Could the mods fix this?

Shouldn't you be able to edit the titles?

Huh, do you not see this when you look at the opening post of a thread here?

If not, I don't understand why that's the case. I'll see if the admins can do anything about that.
