Speculative biology is simultaneously a science and form of art in which one speculates on the possibilities of life and evolution. What could the world look like if dinosaurs had never gone extinct? What could alien lifeforms look like? What kinds of plants and animals might exist in the far future? These questions and more are tackled by speculative biologists, and the Speculative Evolution welcomes all relevant ideas, inquiries, and world-building projects alike. Perleidiformes (a group of extinct bony fish found worldwide that went extinct at the end of Triassic)

Titanopterans (a group of large predatory insects from the Triassic)

Bludgeons (A group of aerial predatory parrots native to the entire archipelago)

Sanguindontiformes (A group of parasitic annelids native to the entire archipelago)

Vastanaviids (A group of basal parrots from India. http://link.springer.com/article/10.1134%2FS0031030113110105#page-1)

Plants

Pleuromeiales (A group of Isoetopsidans common during the Triassic)

Bennettitales (A group of seed-bearing plants related to cycads that went extinct at the end of the Cretaceous)

Pteridospermatophyta (Seed-bearing plants with a similarity to ferns, one of the major groups on the archipelago are the Sarcosporales, which are characterized by their large, fleshy seedpods)
