Speculative biology is simultaneously a science and form of art in which one speculates on the possibilities of life and evolution. What could the world look like if dinosaurs had never gone extinct? What could alien lifeforms look like? What kinds of plants and animals might exist in the far future? These questions and more are tackled by speculative biologists, and the Speculative Evolution welcomes all relevant ideas, inquiries, and world-building projects alike. With a member base comprising users from across the world, our community is the largest and longest-running place of gathering for speculative biologists on the web.

This is outrageous! Look at what Bush and his idiocy have done to this nation! Now we can deny Muslims, specifically Muslims, entry to our nation because we suspect they might possibly have been slightly a part of terrorist activity? What happened to innocent until proven guilty? What happened to honor? What makes Bush think he can slander people's, especially scientists, names because he doesn't like them? Habib was a critic to Bush's idea of "ridding the world of terroism", and because he is also a Muslim, he must be a terrorist! So with no evidence whatsoever, Bush can deny him entry to the USA. Why? Because Bush doesn't like people who question him. I'm just about sick of watching my country go from "land of the free" to "democratic dictatorship". Bush has got America so paranoid that they've agreed to give up their personal freedoms and actually allow the government to declare people terrorists with no evidence. The American Constitution, that was and still is the envy of the "free world", apparently has no foothold in America. We've become so xenophobic that we actually allow our government to deny people their constitutional rights based on an accusation. What's next? We've already locked "terrorists" up in Guantanamo Bay where Humans Rights have practically been suspended. What's left of "land of the free"? Nothing, freedom is nothing but an illusion now. Our xenophobia, coupled with our fluctuating economy, dependance on foreign energy sources, lack of will to change, and extreme interventionism will be our nation's downfall. We spend so much time looking outward that America itself is rotting. Our national debt is bigger than ever, corporations have more power and money than the government, the American middle class is disappearing, equality between social classes is completely gone, and the government has no way of controlling any of it. The same kind of environment existed in Russia when it collapsed and formed the USSR. Americans have been pushed into anti-communism mindsets though, so a more likely scenario is the collapse into a Corpocracy. It sounds ridiculous, but America has already come close be being overthrown by corporations.
We should all aspire to die surrounded by our dearest friends. Just like Julius Caesar.

"The Lord Universe said: 'The same fate I have given to all things from stones to stars, that one day they shall become naught but memories aloft upon the winds of time. From dust all was born, and to dust all shall return.' He then looked upon His greatest creation, life, and pitied them, for unlike stars and stones they would soon learn of this fate and despair in the futility of their own existence. And so the Lord Universe decided to give life two gifts to save them from this despair. The first of these gifts was the soul, that life might more readily accept their fate, and the second was fear, that they might in time learn to avoid it altogether." - Excerpt from a Chanagwan creation myth, Legends and Folklore of the Planet Ghar, collected and published by Yieju Bai'an, explorer from the Celestial Commonwealth of Qonming

Good job Bush, supporting are freedom of religion policy! You're doing a great job, is his term over yet?
I wish I could give the public a true picture of the queen as she appeared at her best, but this would be impossible, even had she permitted a photograph to be taken, for her charming play of expression while in conversation, the character and intellect which were then revealed, were only half seen when the face was in repose. -Lilias Underwood when speaking of Empress Myeongseong

"I was born in the dark. I went out into the light, and your Majesty, it is my displeasure to inform you that I have returned to the dark. I envision a Seoul of towering buildings filled with Western establishments that will place herself back above the Japanese barbarians. Great things lie ahead for the Kingdom, great things. We must take action, your Majesty, without hesitation, to further modernize this still ancient kingdom."-Min Young-ik to Empress Myeongseong

It's kind of sad that some people in the US think that the burning of the flag is more of an issue than the desecration of the constitution. If Bush thinks he's defending American values by committing these crimes, he obviously doesn't care about those values.
