Speculative biology is simultaneously a science and form of art in which one speculates on the possibilities of life and evolution. What could the world look like if dinosaurs had never gone extinct? What could alien lifeforms look like? What kinds of plants and animals might exist in the far future? These questions and more are tackled by speculative biologists, and the Speculative Evolution welcomes all relevant ideas, inquiries, and world-building projects alike. With a member base comprising users from across the world, our community is the largest and longest-running place of gathering for speculative biologists on the web.

So I'm still waiting on Oceaniis for the oceanic current/temperature maps as well as a weather map for Eurydice, but at least we have the time on the planet sorted.

One day on Eurydice is 62 hours, with a 282 day year, which is 730 Earth days, making their years precisely two of ours.

So I have two questions, one more mundane than the other but let's just start with that.

Do you guys think that over a period of time human metabolisms would slow down according to this time schedule?

Now more importantly, and a more intriguing question that pertains to interplanetary/inter-dimension travel, is a time difference like the one in Chronicles of Narnia feasible?

This is another thing I really don't know anything about, so I would really appreciate any help you guys can offer.

You know can we just forget I asked these questions and delete this topic? That would make me happy.

Well... I don't think the metabolism would slow down, but our internal clocks may shift a bit.

I think a time difference like in Narnia is entirely possible, whether there's a timeline or just entropy...
Oh Fine.
