Speculative biology is simultaneously a science and form of art in which one speculates on the possibilities of life and evolution. What could the world look like if dinosaurs had never gone extinct? What could alien lifeforms look like? What kinds of plants and animals might exist in the far future? These questions and more are tackled by speculative biologists, and the Speculative Evolution welcomes all relevant ideas, inquiries, and world-building projects alike. With a member base comprising users from across the world, our community is the largest and longest-running place of gathering for speculative biologists on the web.

This is the most excited I have ever been about a game or film.
Time flows like a river. Which is to say, downhill. We can tell this because everything is going downhill rapidly. It would seem prudent to be somewhere else when we reach the sea.

Well it is to be a good month for me. Season one of Game of Thrones on DVD, the new Honor Harrington and Temeraire books and Shogun 2 Fall of the Samurai in addition to Mass Effect 3.

Did a whole new play-through to get ready. This one remained professional and didn't shag any of her crew.

You can fight like a krogan, run like a leopard, but you'll never be better than Commander Shepard

I think I'm going to play through ME3 with a new character first, then try an import, just so I know what to watch out for.

That's what my solider Adrian is for. After that I'll play though again with Helen or Honor.

I think I've probably use my James Shepard first, since I made him so as to see the consequences with my own, non-edited decisions come into play. Then I'll do my super-good Alexis Shepard, my super-bad Alma Shepard, and finally my other super-bad Artyom Shepard.

As much as I was excited for ME3, I don't think I'll get it as long as I have to get an Origin account in order to play. I am not willing to support EA's plan to outcompete all the other online platforms. If EA wants to get rid of Steam, then maybe they should try to provide a better alternative before forcing me to support their crappy one to use their products. *puts on tinfoil hat*

Next thing you know you'll be opposed to the East India Company's tea monopoly.

That's a silly reason to not get the game. All you'll do is be unable to enjoy the game, it won't make a difference.

I'm fine with their being more ways to purchase games. If Origin thinks it can beat Steam, let them have at it. I don't see why you must needless deprive yourself. It's not an election.

I went to watch that new trailer, but I had to sit through an ad for Mass Effect 3 first. It was annoying, I almost didn't want to watch the ad for Mass Effect 3 and considered not watching the ad for Mass Effect 3 because of the ad for Mass Effect 3 youtube played before the ad for Mass Effect 3.
We should all aspire to die surrounded by our dearest friends. Just like Julius Caesar.

"The Lord Universe said: 'The same fate I have given to all things from stones to stars, that one day they shall become naught but memories aloft upon the winds of time. From dust all was born, and to dust all shall return.' He then looked upon His greatest creation, life, and pitied them, for unlike stars and stones they would soon learn of this fate and despair in the futility of their own existence. And so the Lord Universe decided to give life two gifts to save them from this despair. The first of these gifts was the soul, that life might more readily accept their fate, and the second was fear, that they might in time learn to avoid it altogether." - Excerpt from a Chanagwan creation myth, Legends and Folklore of the Planet Ghar, collected and published by Yieju Bai'an, explorer from the Celestial Commonwealth of Qonming
