Speculative biology is simultaneously a science and form of art in which one speculates on the possibilities of life and evolution. What could the world look like if dinosaurs had never gone extinct? What could alien lifeforms look like? What kinds of plants and animals might exist in the far future? These questions and more are tackled by speculative biologists, and the Speculative Evolution welcomes all relevant ideas, inquiries, and world-building projects alike. With a member base comprising users from across the world, our community is the largest and longest-running place of gathering for speculative biologists on the web.

I thought the occupy movement (at least the one in Sydney) was funny. Seeing well fed, inhabitants of a peaceful country, which isn't in a recession, with healthcare and quarter-acre homes in the suburbs, with expensive clothes and camping gear, complaining about the quality of living, well that made my day. Seriously there are bigger problems.
What made it even funnier/worse for me is their name. They got it the occupation of Tahrir Square square, where people were getting killed by the police and government thugs, and it took an army coup to stop it. While ours just blocked entrance to a cathedral because they were not allowed to stay by the stock exchange. First world problems.

On a plus side, some EDL nutters planned to attack them, and now almost 200 of the twats have been arrested.

Back to the topic at hand, riding a bike and being able to draw are things I'd like to be able to do, but would take a while to learn and probably cost quite a bit.

I'm going to stick with the acheivable, or practicable, as most on this thread have done.

I would like to ride my fuckin' bucket of shit Harley - but the bucket of American nuts'n'bolts won't even fire up!!!

I'm thinking about cutting it in half, and selling each half and buying a smaller older Harley and a Triumph - that way I've always got a spare if one of the useless lumps a tin aint goin'...

NO. Stay that way. I'm an obnoxious geek, and personally I think that's the best way to be. Anybody who doesn't enjoy your geekiness is a loser. You strive to better your mind and your understanding of the world, what do other people concern themselves with? Sports, fashion, food, parties, are these things really any more honorable than your interests? No, in fact, I'd say speculation on alien worlds is one of the few interests that makes sense.

Unless you're a horrible dancer.

The point of dancing is to not give a damn what people think.

I mean I learned the one man waltz.

Kick Ken Ham in the groin.
Agreed, but probably for different reasons than yours; my reasoning is because he makes the rest of us Christians look like utter fools.

Actually Lamna they are furious at the government and its officials, the bankers, and the system. They're just all around mad.
And sleeping in parks and screaming at people will solve all our problems! If it works for the homeless it can work for us!
We should all aspire to die surrounded by our dearest friends. Just like Julius Caesar.

"The Lord Universe said: 'The same fate I have given to all things from stones to stars, that one day they shall become naught but memories aloft upon the winds of time. From dust all was born, and to dust all shall return.' He then looked upon His greatest creation, life, and pitied them, for unlike stars and stones they would soon learn of this fate and despair in the futility of their own existence. And so the Lord Universe decided to give life two gifts to save them from this despair. The first of these gifts was the soul, that life might more readily accept their fate, and the second was fear, that they might in time learn to avoid it altogether." - Excerpt from a Chanagwan creation myth, Legends and Folklore of the Planet Ghar, collected and published by Yieju Bai'an, explorer from the Celestial Commonwealth of Qonming

I want to see a dinosaur. (A "real" dinosaur, not a bird.)
