Speculative biology is simultaneously a science and form of art in which one speculates on the possibilities of life and evolution. What could the world look like if dinosaurs had never gone extinct? What could alien lifeforms look like? What kinds of plants and animals might exist in the far future? These questions and more are tackled by speculative biologists, and the Speculative Evolution welcomes all relevant ideas, inquiries, and world-building projects alike. With a member base comprising users from across the world, our community is the largest and longest-running place of gathering for speculative biologists on the web.

Amoeboid, may I ask how you do your art? I myself just do pencil drawings/sketches (my color ones don't normally turn out well), but am thinking about painting. I am just not sure how well I could do fur and fine details with it... any advice?

Hmm... Not sure if this helps, but remember that size doesn't necessarily mean gravity/mass. You could have a venus-sized planet 4x the density of Earth, and have a lot more gravity than Earth. So if you are concerned about actual size, then go with that. But you can have quite the large planet have pretty low gravity as far as I know.

Also, maybe you can have a 85-90% Earth gravity planet with +20-40 air density? That seems like a balance.

Do Gapuri have a sense of privacy? Do they mind walking around clothes-less?

There could be other reasons, religious or something.
