So this project is a stupid idea for a universe where the laws allow on one planet for strange things to create. These creature ideas are based on the atom Bohr model. In the center is a "nervous system" and an amorphous membrane which digestes the food placed in it. the actual organs all are in the nucleus. The outer edges and outher places are orbitals of "electrons" (varying in number throughout species. These are used to catch food, breath, etc. The electrons pass food down from the outer ("valence") layer to the inner most layer which sends it to the psuedopods exuded by the digestion membrane. Please comment and i will put more. |

No, they are just modeled after atoms. Not in size. The center is a large fluid filled sphere within which drifts respiratory organs, digestive organs, and a primitive brain. This brain transmits "wireless signals using "pheromones" (their equivalents) to the outer bodies which form a ring around the body. The ring of "electrons" is used for locomotion by scuffing it on the ground and changing the direction it spins. They kill prey by smashing the outer rings. |

Sounds to me that the brain is actually a gland and it responds to things via an endocrine-like system (hormones and such). I'm curious about the "electrons". |

Well, they have a dense center but a spongy insides, and the outer shell is often covered in spines or rough edges. The brain idea that you say is what i imagined. I just don't know too much stuff about anatomy. The electrons are used to smash the membranes of others and are held in by some undefined force that keep them in orbit. |
