| Speculative biology is simultaneously a science and form of art in which one speculates on the possibilities of life and evolution. What could the world look like if dinosaurs had never gone extinct? What could alien lifeforms look like? What kinds of plants and animals might exist in the far future? These questions and more are tackled by speculative biologists, and the Speculative Evolution welcomes all relevant ideas, inquiries, and world-building projects alike. With a member base comprising users from across the world, our community is the largest and longest-running place of gathering for speculative biologists on the web. While unregistered users are able to browse the forum on a basic level, registering an account provides additional forum access not visible to guests as well as the ability to join in discussions and contribute yourself! If you don't believe me, just look at this webpage: Dilophosaurus Look at the info box just above the ad. Note that Dilophosaurus also lived in china; there, it might have lived in completely different climate. |

Er, that site is not exactly the most reliable thing ever made. For one thing, the artwork is atrocious. |

By the way, I took a look at the paleographic maps that are earlier on in this thread and they clearly show a giant river smack dab in the middle of the state. |

And do you have any other proof that it is not a reliable website? Or are you just judging the reliability of the site on the crappyness of it's artwork? I don't see anything wrong with the artwork actually. It looks like any other picture of dilophosaurus i've seen (without the stupid neck frill). It's far better than anything I could have drawn. |

The artist took the movie proportions, it's arms are too far forward, the crest is too short and shaped wrong, and it's too stocky.

Okay well i can't recognize that as bad on the spot. My point is just that the same person that wrote the material didn't draw the picture. That hardly means that the material is unreliable. Also the crest isn't short, it's just that the animal is looking at the viewer, meaning it seems tpo be short. |

It's the only site I could find really, not many people have studied this topic; Not much is known about the dilo, so i'm not surprised. Most websites just state what they know, and that's that. Now, I bid farewell, for I am in the state of physical fatigue. (Translation: I'm tired, dammit!) |

I forgot how much I loved this Dino anyway if it was common throughout both China and Arizona then it must have been pretty successful, an opportunist it could have been. Dilophosaurus is definitely not too specialised in anything.
