| Speculative biology is simultaneously a science and form of art in which one speculates on the possibilities of life and evolution. What could the world look like if dinosaurs had never gone extinct? What could alien lifeforms look like? What kinds of plants and animals might exist in the far future? These questions and more are tackled by speculative biologists, and the Speculative Evolution welcomes all relevant ideas, inquiries, and world-building projects alike. With a member base comprising users from across the world, our community is the largest and longest-running place of gathering for speculative biologists on the web. While unregistered users are able to browse the forum on a basic level, registering an account provides additional forum access not visible to guests as well as the ability to join in discussions and contribute yourself! The tongueworms should be getting a little more limelight but I'm not sure when I'll be able to complete anything. |

Aw, the sparrowworm was so cute! Very creative. Also, if most of the land masses are still being formed, is Tethys II "young"? |

By Earth standards yes. Technically the land is formed, its just that only a few mountains and volcanoes peak out over the high sea levels as islands. |

This topic is, to my knowledge, still up for adoption. It got dropped by Will a while back. I actually thought about adopting it, but A there isn't enough information left, and B I really don't want to adopt it alone. So if you want it, it's yours. |

The links do not exist anymore. Has he terminated his membership on deviant art? And I still don't get it, what's this with the project adoption thing? |

Project adoption means that someone can take over the project from where it was left off. I don't know why the links don't work. |
